Un lugar mágico. Excelente para los amantes de salsa, orquestas muy profesionales y consagradas a este genero y similares. El cover esta entre 40k y 70k. Las bebidas no son tan económicas.

Sitio icónico de salsa con una propuesta de música en vivo y excelente ambiente. Te recomiendo reserva con antelación. El sitio cuenta con aire acondicionado y ventiladores por lo que se hace muy fresco. Preparste para bailar y cantar toda la noche.

Varias personas nos recomendaron este lugar y no nos decepcionó! Lo mejor del lugar es el ambiente y la música en vivo. Es cierto que no hay mucho lugar para bailar, pero uno se puede acomodar. Los mojitos son ricos. Los precios son elevados para lo común de Colombia, pero me parece que vale la pena. El lugar adentro se siente seguro y bien atendido. Hay un cover de 60k por persona al día de hoy (Diciembre 2024).

La comida es excelente, el precio es considerablemente alto pero es alta cocina. El bar tiene música en vivo, pude ver a la orquesta La Brava, el cover no sé si tenga precio fijo pero yo pagué $60.000 los cocteles son deliciosos y el ambiente se presta para socializar, volveré definitivamente.

Nos encantó ambas orquestas, tocan increíble y pura salsa, disfruta uno mucho el solo escucharlas y tomar trago. A nosotros nos encanta bailar y el lugar no se presta mucho para eso (no hay pista de baile, es pequeño y siempre hay mucha gente) aún así se saca un 10, el ambiente super divertido, el personal muy atento.

El lugar tiene muy buen ambiente. Música en vivo. Nosotras llegamos temprano pero el lugar empieza a llenarse por ahí de las 9:30 justo cuando empiezan los grupos en vivo. Consideren que cobran un cover.

Best salsa in town. The bar is unique, super fun eith high quality music. If you are in cartagena it is a must go. The bands are amazing and they play every night. O recommend getting a reservation or arriving early, it can get crowded. Also do not miss the fisrt band, normally they are great. The prices are a bit high, but is not out of the norm for a entertainment place. They charge an entrance fee.

If you only had one place you could visit while in Cartagena, this is THE place. We enjoyed this place so much, we went twice during our short trip here. Very fun atmosphere that captures that old world feel, and you don’t have to be a salsa lover to appreciate one of the oldest salsa bars in LATAM. Located in the hip neighborhood of Getsamani just outside the wall city, this place had a good mix of tourists and locals patrons. Great live music and reasonable drink prices, I will be back!

I found this place on TikTok, but TikTok does not capture what actually happens inside this club. In person, it’s electric. The live band performs every song like it’s the finale of a concert, and then some of the band members break into salsa while the crowd is already dancing — it feels like a movie scene. I came with eight family members for my cousin’s 25th birthday, and we were locked in for almost two hours just watching in a trance. The shots, piña coladas, and daiquiris were flowing all night. I told the bartender to make us something sweet for the birthday and gave him full creative control — whatever he made was so good we immediately ordered another round. My family still brings it up. Also, I originally thought the club was inside the restaurant, but it’s actually a separate attachment next to it with its own entrance. You show your ID at the door, so it’s adults only. Entry is 15 euros per person, and it is worth every cent for the energy and 10/10 experience.

Show up after 9:15 and it starts to get busier around 10, great bands, great dancing, feels very local and home-y. A little bit pricey but if you like to dance salsa you will love coming here. Bands are very interactive with audience, employees very helpful. Definitely the highlight of my stay in Cartagena. Would recommend coming at least once. You can go on your own or with other people, it’s easy to start conversations. Friendly environment.

Excelente. Live music is the best. I dont give this place 5 stars because there is not really a dance floor, except the area where you walk in between tables, is where you can dance, but then you are either blocking, bumping into, or stepping on someone trying to go to the bathroom or another table. I did not eat, so I can't say anything about their food. Drinks are the standard. I like cognac and it seems like in the whole city no one carries cognac. The two men at the door, Douglas and the other bame escapes my mind, they are very good people. They made my experience more enjoyable.

Tip: Go early if you want a table by 9:30 pm it starts to get quite packed. OMG! When in Cartagena you must go to Cafe Havana the music, the vibes, The drinks and the decor transports you to Havana. They have various life bands that will have you dancing without you even knowing it. The rhythm permeates in the walls of this place. Upstairs you will find the restaurant, downstairs is where you enjoy all that Cafe Havana is. Advise there is a cover charge weekends. Go early as the place gets packed by 10pm.

Must do when visiting Cartagena. Definitely recommend reserving a table, there’s a few. We paid 210,000 pesos each. 60,000pesos went to cover the fee that all must pay to enter. The remaining 150,000 went to good and drinks. Loved it so much we went two days in a row. Food is good, although the portions are small. The drinks a surgery and the bands are top notch. Highly recommend!

Very hospital and clean we ordered the croquetas de queso y jamón and papas rellegenas de vacas fritas. Perfect appetizer to go with our drinks which were the mojito and club Colombia dorada. Truly happy I came here huge shout out to Alexa de promoter who stopped us on the street to tell us that Cafe Havana’s roof top was opening at 6pm. Can’t wait to be back. Atmosphere, service and the food 10/10

I had heard great things about the live music and atmosphere of Café Havana and it did not disappoint. The bar in the center takes up a lot of the space but you will find people dancing where they stand. People are polite and friendly and everyone is just there to enjoy the music. The drinks are not watered down at all. As with most things in Cartagena, the prices are more than reasonable.

Oh what a night!! Went on a Friday night to experience the live music and it did not disappoint! Two incredible bands played and everyone in the bar was up dancing or at least bopping along in their seats. Everyone there was so friendly and I danced with strangers and chatted with new friends. The service was wonderful as well. I almost didn’t go because I was tired from a full day of exploring and ready to go to bed, but this was on my list of things to do on a Friday night in Cartagena, so I put my glad rags on and headed out for a night I won’t soon forget. If you are in Cartagena, this is a must do!!

Pros...Como tantas y tantas reseñas, el local es pura magia. Te traslada a otras épocas. No es muy grande, ni moderno ni cosa por el estilo, la mezcla de la decoración y la Banda q actúa cada noche sobre las 21.30. Son buenísimos, te moverás si o si, su repertorio son parte de los clásicos de los 80. Contras. Pagas 40.0000 por persona ( día domingo)de entrada, q no te da derecho a consumición, son pocas las mesas con buena visión y la bebida es precio Europa, pero en vasos normales ( combinados tipo Cubalibre) , q es Cocacola, hielo y apenas un poco de ron. Las copas están acordes a lo q pagas. Las ponen igual q en las calles populares de Getsamani, solución, consumir cerveza. Esto mismo hace q la clienta sea 90% turistas extranjeros.

Qué asombrosa ambientación!! Se respira seguridad. Para una orquesta de la altura que tienen, les vendría muy bien un poco de iluminación para ellos. Mejora la escenografía y la coreografía. Los vídeos quedan muy oscuros, por lo tanto incompartibles. Los músicos se lo merecen!! 👏👏👏💃🕺🍻

La salsa en vivo está chévere, unos señores que cantan super bacano, pues si quieres un lugar donde pagas 60k pesos para entrar y donde las gringas que sacas a bailar te pisan los pies o si quieres asistir al show de unos gringos haciendo su mejor intento para bailar salsa cubana, este es el lugar.

I would not recommend this place if your main goal is to dance — there simply isn’t enough space for people to move, and only a few guests can actually dance comfortably. However, if you’re happy to stand or sit while enjoying an excellent live band and you’re not expecting to dance, then it’s perfectly fine. Just keep in mind that the entrance fee is 60,000 pesos.
