tot tapa Castelldefels Reviews
Calidad- precio excelente.
Every year we celebrate my children's birthday here. We have good service, it's cheap, it's very close to the Blue Duck Cinemas, much better than any burger franchise
Well, well, well, what can you say about a restaurant in a shopping center? Sometimes a lot, other times very little. This is one of those that can get a good mark for the attention we received throughout. It's what you really want, since the preparation and presentation of the dishes, from the moment you order them to the time they take to deliver them, is excellent. The presentation is like that of a tapas restaurant; the plating depends on what you order, of course. What I like is that they offer the option of combination platters.
Good food
If you're hungry while strolling through the shopping center, this is the place for you. Fresh produce and a wide variety of options: sandwiches, combination plates, pizzas, etc. It's a lively place, the service is quick and excellent, and they bring you what you ordered quickly and quite well prepared. You eat, you leave, and you'll be back on your next visit to try another of their options.
The daily menu wasn't too attractive, and we opted for the a la carte. Good food in general, but I think that with a small quantity, it's just right. You can have lunch for €20-25. Quick and pleasant service. Covered terrace.
In terms of quality and price, it's fine. Half meal (first course and dessert) €7.50 +/- Full meal (first, second, and dessert) €10 / €11 +/- The service is fast and attentive. The staff is pleasant. Cons: 1) I ordered a dessert that I saw on the menu, but they didn't have it. They could have let me know as soon as they brought the menu. 2) The rice in my second course was a bit... "overcooked," as if it had been boiling for too long.
Acceptable value for money. They have a grilled meat section, which is recommended. They have a set menu on weekdays. The downside, to put it mildly, is when you have to wait for a free table because it's crowded. As a suggestion, they could serve some tapas with your drinks, because sometimes they take a while to serve due to the number of people. And finally, I'd like to say that silence isn't possible; it's not the most peaceful place if you're looking for an intimate spot, for example, a first date. To be continued...
It seemed like an expensive place to me. We ordered a portion of croquettes and they gave us four croquettes. In general the prices are expensive. The bar is located inside the Anec blau shopping center. 4 drinks and some bravas and 4 croquettes 20 euros... A little expensive for so little.
There was a day a family member died, and I thought it was the worst day of my life, until I went there for lunch one Sunday… The entrecôtes were 300 grams, but if you weigh the whole plate and the side dishes, the concept of "medium-rare" meant cooked to the point where the cow would scream, and the desserts weren't chilled; you needed a hammer to cut them. I wouldn't go back, honestly.
Although I must admit I've eaten well many times (a long time ago), today, June 10, 2019, was the complete opposite. Mixed platters, the shrimp: 3 on the plate, 2 average flavor, bubblegum pulpits, the best part of the dish was the salad. Entrecote: somewhat tough, inedible, raw peppers, the best part of the dish were the potatoes and fried egg. As tapas: snouts, bubblegum. Price: I'm waiting for the bill, coffee, and dessert. Better somewhere else. After today, we won't be back. Better at McDonald's across the street. €41.25
Very weak. Patata aioli: frozen potato strips submerged in sauce. Squid: just battered and the occasional squid you find if you're lucky. Pinchos: the poorest quality, undercooked skewers. Morros: super chewy. Pan con tomate: soggy bread. The best thing is the Viladrau water. Not to be repeated, not joking.
The regular food, the fries, are very bad, the cod very good, the samfaina too, it would be good if there was more homogeneity with the temperatures, the regular presentation, the mayonnaise in a ketchup jar, the desserts not much variety, the beef cannelloni have pork, as I always give a second chance, because instead of improving they have gotten worse, the waitress Pepa or Karen has a bad temper that she can't handle, she throws the dishes away reluctantly, she makes mistakes etc. In short, the service was terrible, the chicken and potatoes were inedible, but the cod was very good.
The food was awful—I took one bite of the meat and it tasted terrible; I couldn't finish it. Then that night I got food poisoning like never before! I was so sick—I spent 48 hours in the bathroom and lost over 3 kilos! I'm never eating there again! If you don't want to get sick, don't go to Tot Tapa!
The breaded cutlets and fries tasted like fish. It's clear they're frying in dirty oil. The Caesar salad was watery and contained the same powdered cheese used with pasta. The service was very poor.
We had Milanese with potatoes and a fried egg... the batter tasted like fish! The salads were mediocre and of poor quality, and the customer service was inconvenient at all; it seemed as if they were bothered serving you. We won't be back; I think there are better places to get a mixed platter.
It used to be one of those places you could eat if you were out shopping. Now I wouldn't even consider sitting at their tables; the service, food, and quality have all declined. The last time we went, the meat was rock tough and cold, my daughter's potatoes were cold and oily, and my wife had to send her fish back twice—once because it was too oily and the other time because it was the same fish, except they'd dried off the oil and replated it. The service got worse with the new staff.
From bad to worse... last time we weren't very satisfied, but today we opted for something as simple as patatas bravas with aioli. The aioli was awful, oily, and looked unappetizing, so we left it just in case we got indigestion. And the funniest thing was the glass Coca-Cola... it was definitely not refilled, and it looked like sugar water... We asked him to exchange it for cans, and as he was leaving, he said something like it had just been opened...
