Drinks are good. Food was tasty and decent portions. Would be nice to have tables though since there are so much food on the menu.

One of our go-to boba places! For this visit, I got my favorite fresh taro milk tea and hubby tried the brown sugar boba tea caffe which was good especially for the coffee lovers out there.

Polite staff, usually quick and efficient depending the time of day (they can get BUSY) but guess that shows how good they are. The cream brûlée boba is my favorite. They also have good food too if you’re trying to get a quick bite. Wish they had seats inside to eat/drink at but that doesn’t make me want to give less stars. Overall it’s one of my favorite boba spot in the east bay since I got here a couple months ago.

I absolutely love I-Tea in Castro Valley! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm, friendly atmosphere and an impressive menu full of delicious options. The bubble tea here is top-notch—perfectly sweetened, with a great selection of flavors and toppings. The staff is always welcoming and efficient, making every visit a pleasant experience. Whether I’m in the mood for a classic milk tea or something more adventurous, I-Tea never disappoints. It’s my go-to spot for a refreshing treat, and I highly recommend it to anyone in the area!

This review is focused on the bentos. I’ve had their drinks and other food before, but it was years ago. My friend and I wanted to grab something simple and quick from i-Tea. Did not realize that they no longer had tables to dine in. We had to order to go. These bentos got our attention and we ordered two. I had the Braised Pork Belly bento and I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the bento box. It was huge and enough for two. The pork belly was tender and flavorful. The fried tofu was on point. This was $15. It was great value and the taste was satisfying. My friend got the $15 Taiwanese pork spare rib bento and it looked equally as good. I had a piece of the pork spare rib. Pretty good, but I still prefer the pork belly. The server said that they currently do not have the permit for dining in. I really don’t want to order and bring ramen elsewhere since I don’t live nearby so I hope they get it soon. It’s been a while since the pandemic so maybe this take out option is just more profitable. Now that I know their bentos are delicious and affordable, I will certainly visit often.

Yummy bubble tea! So many bubble tea options it’s kind of overwhelming and not sure where to start. Overall it was really good. Will come back again Got basil popcorn chicken. I think I have tried better, it’s a bit too much flour/dry in my opinion.

iTea is one of my to-go boba places near me, I've only tried the drinks, and so far they've hit the spottt! I recommend this place 100%! The only complaint I have is the overpriced drinks, but I am pretty sure most boba places are overpriced. (worth it tho!) Some drinks I highly recommend is.. Black Tea & Oreo Creamy, Winter-melon Milk Tea, Brown Sugar Milk tea, and Thai milk tea, but my personal favorite is the Winter-melon! Totally check this place out whenever by one!

Their new drinks are good! We tried the brown sugar boba latte, it's sweet and creamy like a dessert. Most similar to a milk shake. We also tried the Sun Moon Lake Ruby with cheese creama. The tea is refreshing light and the creama gives it a nice balance in flavor. The creama is thick and creamy with a touch if salty/cheesey taste; it's good.

They have happy hour Mondays-Thursdays from 8-10pm for select drinks and food. I suggest coming early as it’s always busy and not a lot of room to sit. I always get no ice, 30% sugar as they tend to have very sweet drinks. I like how they have a wide variety of drinks from classic/milk/fruit teas and non-tea based frosties.

The black garlic ramen and the miso ramen were delicious. The portions are pretty big and decent prices. Usually packed but the line moves quick and seating interchanges quickly as well. The watermelon slushie was refreshing!

A solid cafe for Taiwanese/Asian snacks and tea drinks. I enjoy their Kuro Ramen, Agedashi egg tofu, and popcorn chicken. Drinks P.E.A.R.L. Standard Rating = 3.5 P-Perfect Chew E-Extras and Toppings A-Accommodations/Customize R-Real Ingredients L-Liquid Gold (Quality of Tea) P (.5) inconsistent with texture-at times slimy in outside or hard center. E (.75) Several options for toppings including crystal/agar boba. A (.5) will change level of sweetness & ice, but no deviating from set menu R (.75) Like the options of house-made crema and fresh fruit in some drinks like Mango Sago, but otherwise, flavored jams or syrups are used. L (1.0) Great variety for green, black, oolong, and other fresh teas. I like that they have unique tea flavors like Oriental Beauty and High Mountain Oolong. My faves are: 1) Pomelo GT, 30% sweet, 30% ice with boba or aloe 2) Alishan GT creama, no sugar, with Crystal boba 3) Mango Sago #mrsbeanssweettooth #thepearlstandard

Came for a late night drink. Haven't been here in a while. Now they have new drinks. Will try them on my next visit. Came here a second time...Love their happy hour when drinks r around 2.95 and certain snacks r discounted too... Their boba is really soft and chewy. They have a lot of drinks to choose from. They also have ramen here. WiFi is free and parking is free too. I would definitely go here again.. Great place to grab bubble tea drinks and Asian snacks as well as ramen noodles. They have a daily happy hour that subtracts $1.00 on certain drinks. Their boba is really qq (chewy). You can request how sweet and the amount of ice u want for your drink. Try to be there right at happy hour. Otherwise, the line can become quite long.. Credit cards are acceptable here.

Food is great. Service is hit or miss. But the food is so good, I keep going back! Two things to keep in mind: 1. The lines for ordering versus just picking up food are unclear. People cut all the time and the workers do nothing to stop this. I just had another woman cut me today and the server watched it happen and didn't offer to get my pick up food. Instead, she just took the other woman's order, who got there after me. 2. Don't try to order online for a specific pick up time. I've tried this twice. Failed both times. First time food clearly had been sitting out and second time, I arrived early, checked in, and they still forgot about my order, until I checked in again 20 minutes later. MANAGERS, if you respond to my review, I'm happy to update the stars. Would it be possible to: 1) make two lines clear-- one for pick up, one for ordering -- and serve both lines and 2) if you don't have a system in place to prepare orders at specified times, then remove that option from online ordering? The place could get five stars if you'd address these issues.

Another I-Tea and this one in Castro Valley, Enough parking but so many idiot drivers that can't park here for some reason. The store is pretty wide for a wait area. This location is always busy. The staff are all just for work. No enjoyment to show their customers. This I-Tea is a hit or miss. I love their smoothies and mango drinks. Their drinks never seem to be consistent. Not even sweet, too sweet or not enough ingredients. I like their popcorn chicken as it has dried basil and whole garlic cloves in it but there are times it doesn't have enough spice. They don't even ask the level of spice you want. I still come when I crave and it's close to home. Good luck to all! Haha

Ordered at 7:13 pm online, got a text saying it was ready at 7:43 pm, waited until 8:03 pm at the resturant to get food. Food was somewhat cold when we did get it. It was still good, and drinks are great. Just wish it was faster.

Enjoying my drink driving five minutes away and I was like what how can I finish this so quickly then I took a look at the ice level in this drink. All I can say is I feel ripped off today. Totally Iced out

2 stars because the food and drink were edible. I'll go on. Immediately after receiving my order I was disappointed to see that my "basil popcorn chicken" had barely any basil. Like 1 little sprig of basil. But nothing like other boba shops (with plenty of basil). So I look around for sweet and sour and they tell me I have to pay for it. Okay. So I pay for it. And it wasn't even packets.. it was poured into small plastic to go cups. Had to ask for napkins too because nothing was out for customers. What a place. But other than that. The chicken was okay. Drink was okay (oolong milk tea)(cashier didnt know if their creamer was non dairy so i opted for almond milk. Glad they could at least accommodate that for an extra charge too. Both itens were more expensive than Mr. Green Bubble In Union City. I'd rather go there than here. All together I paid just under 20$ for both items and I would definitely recommend AGAINST going here. Try t4 or mr green

Service was fine considering how busy they were, but the popcorn chicken was incredibly disappointing. That’s the only thing I ordered, and the breading was too thick and the meat was very dry, overall quite flavorless even with the powder sprinkled over it. Definitely wouldn’t recommend ordering it here.

Family friendly, great drinks, don't mind the waiting. Been coming here with friends and family for 3 years! I love you guys! But this is a little different I get the inflation but maybe charge me $4.50 instead of $6 next time?

Charged me for two popcorn chickens with 4 ranches each and only received 1 popcorn chicken and no ranch and want extra spicy like i requested.

Just a couple of weeks ago, this was $10.97 after tax and stuffed the lid tabs couldnt close. Today, the price went up to $12.07 and was skimpy. I get we’re dealing with these tariffs right now, but is this chicken coming from China?? I doubt it. As bothered as i am about the price being raised, im more bothered that with the price increase, the portion got smaller. What seemed like a great deal before, now seems like a rip-off. Ever since trying and learning about the Basil Popcorn Chicken 6 months ago and buying it 10 days in a row, and telling everyone i knew if they’d ever heard/had and if not, introducing them to it…. Now i can only tell people (as im telling you) how the price went up and the portion got smaller. #anotheronebitesthedust

I love their milktea. Always nice to stop by when you’re around the area. Service is bad tho. This guy took my order does not smile, gave me attitude, i have my apple pay ready and still asking me if im paying cash or card then give me angry look. Like if you dont like your job please quit, you are destroying this place reputation.
