Pepper's Thai Cuisine Cathedral City Reviews
Was walking around Palm Springs buzzing streets and found this nice Thai restaurant. Chicken and Shrimp Pad Kee Mao was tasty. Generous lunch portions. Nice outdoor seating.
I’ve never had a bad meal from Peppers Thai. My personal favorite is the Basil Eggplant with Scallops and when I dine in, I have to order the soups in the flaming pot… always delicious and a spectacle!
I ordered take out. I searched google maps, 3 separate times, because I thought there was a mistake (there was, but google maps would not say differently). I ended up driving an extra hour, to Palm Desert and back. Apparently it was their previous location which google maps had not updated. Yes, I was very irritated by the time I received my food. Understand, the location is in downtown Palm Springs. The take out food was very good.
Peppers is always great. Basil Chili chicken and Crab Curry are my favorites. The soup and salad are fantastic. Pad Thai is also great. No bad meals here.
We ordered our food for delivery. The food was excellent. It was delivered in a timely manner. We have tried other Thai restaurants in Palm Springs and believe this is the best one.
Peppers Thai is our favorite local Palm Springs restaurant for Asian cuisine. Great food, quick service, reasonably priced. Always on-time pick-up. Delivery has been good too.
The service is excellent. The food is delicious. I had the Chicken Pad See Ew. The chicken was tender flavorful and plentiful the vegetables were perfect not too firm not too soggy. I opted for the spiciest option the second time I went but all that was different than the initial one I had weeks prior was a wild amount of red chili flakes that absolutely ruined the flavor of the dish its all I could taste. I suppose it's too difficult to prepare a separate sauce for people that want real flavor and heat. I could have added more chili flakes or drowned it in Sriracha. I get it cater to the majority. You're still better tastier and fairly priced better than the sad Thai restaurants you're competing with. Take pride and comfort in that. You still make great food perhaps letting people know that don't read reviews that spiciest means your chef is just gonna dump a visual and palpable amount of chili pepper flakes into the wok as they toss the noodles. Whenever I delivered here when this was my route the folk are always sweet and polite and gracious and it always smells delicious inside. Follow your nose folk.
Our party of seven ordered take out and each dish was delicious. Easy to prefer, great communication on time to pick up and no wait when we arrived to collect the food. Will definitely order again!
I arrived here about 20mins before closing and staff was still nice and accommodating. By all means don't push your luck with doing this but the food was really Good and I tipped well for taking care of us before closing time. Food arrived very quickly after order!! This place also does take-out orders so call em to see if they can make your tummy happy on the go.
Delicious food, big portions, pleasant if plain surroundings. Beef salad appetizer was fantastic as was honey roasted duck. Very nice experience.
Usually when I visit Palm Springs, my favorite Thai spot is Thai Smile. On my latest trip, I decided to flip things and try Peppers Thai, and I was not disappointed. I went for lunch and had the chow mein with chicken, which was absolutely delicious. The environment and atmosphere are very old school and a little rough around the edges, but that usually signals really good food. The service was quick, and overall I really enjoyed my experience. I would definitely come back again.
We went in and were told that there is a 15 minute wait before we get a table. However, in the next 5 minutes, we were pleasantly surprised when a table was made available. This place was next to the restroom, next to the server doors. Not at all what I was expecting. The food however was good. We ordered their Veggies in Green Curry, Pineapple Fried Rice, Chicken & Shrimp Curry. All these dishes were flavourful and perfectly balanced. This was downed with a couple of Singha and Heineken beers.
Was excited to try this place, but unfortunately was disappointed. The cashew stir fry was good and the lunch special price was great, but the chicken potstickers were the worst I've ever had. It was basically fried chicken. I hate fried chicken. The service and atmosphere was great.
Decent Thai restaurant with vegetarian options available. The food was okay—nothing bad, but not especially memorable either. Service and atmosphere were fine, and it’s a convenient spot if you’re looking for a casual Thai meal in Palm Springs. Overall, a solid option, especially for veggie-friendly choices, but there’s room to improve on flavor.
We were visiting Palm Springs on vacation (family of four) and stopped by this restaurant hoping to dine in. We waited by the door for a reasonable amount of time, but no one came over to seat us. A waitress even walked past us not just once, but twice without acknowledging us. The restaurant was not busy at the time (we went around 3 pm). We understand that wait times can happen, but a brief acknowledgment or letting us know they would be with us shortly would have made a difference. Given the initial experience, we questioned how the dine-in service would be and decided to leave without ordering. We went to another Thai restaurant nearby, where we had an excellent experience.
We are DONE WITH PEPPERS THAI we ordered take out at 6:50 at 9:20 they cancel our order and close. What kind of service is that? HORRIBLE!! Now 4 starving people have to find something else to eat. We have ordered from them for years but honestly it’s not worth it. Do your self a favor and order someplace else. Good bye Peppers. Wish you treated your customers better.
