Mesón-Taberna Quinito Cazorla Reviews
Trato cercano, rapidez y amabilidad.
A must-visit spot in Cazorla. We had a delicious Torrezno de Soria (fried pork belly), a spectacular wild boar pâté, a wonderful cured pork loin with peppers, and the crown jewel: venison with roasted potatoes that was simply divine. They also have excellent craft beer from Cazorla (we drank the Quebranta). The service was superb; the waiters took excellent care of us, and we felt very comfortable. In short, a must-visit that I plan to return to.
The restaurant is in Plaza Santa Maria; it's a wonderful place. The food is spectacular. We've been there three days, and we've eaten there every single time. Everything we've tried has been delicious, and the service from all the waiters, especially Raúl, has been fantastic. And if you bring pets, they treat them like family. We'll definitely be back.
Perfect! Zero atmosphere on a Tuesday at midday, a real shame, but since I was determined to try it, we went without hesitation! We went for a drink; the plaza is ideal! The place is very cute, and I 100% recommend the torreznos (fried pork belly). They include a tapa with the drink, and a small extra plate of potatoes for €2 wasn't my favorite, but I understand; they call it an "extra tapa." We ordered the torrezno, and it was amazing, better than expected. I'll definitely be back! There are tables that get sun at midday. I would return; I highly recommend it! The waiters were very friendly.
In my experience waiters in Spain are effective and efficient though not necessarily friendly ... So don't expect them to wait for you at beck and call. Also expect menus online to be outdated. It may be cultural or in some cases it may be lack of training. Enjoy the meal!
We loved it, the food was excellent and the service very attentive. We started with a delicious black pudding. We shared two generous portions: hake with avocado and pork loin with Roquefort sauce, and for dessert, chocolate fondant. Everything was fantastic, we'll definitely be back.
Great food and friendly waitstaff.
Great dining at Taberna Quinito. They managed gluten free really well and the staff knew which menu items were suitable. They prepared delicious steak and had gluten free beer on offer too. Great vibe and tasty offerings.
5*s for quick service, good food and great value for money. The busiest place in Plaza Santa Maria, full for lunch and dinner, everyone Spanish but us I think. Not much English spoken and no English translation of the menu but well worth making an effort to eat here. Seating outside under plane trees, with an awning for shade.
Tapas variadas, muy ricas y sabrosas. We visited on a quiet night and were served quickly, with friendly waiters. Two nights later we returned and it was busy, but the same friendly waiters continued their friendly efficient service and the food was as good if not better. Beautiful atmosphere in the old town square as well.
Very relaxed. Had breakfast, several times beer and tappa. Caña y Jarra...
We visited this restaurant twice in recent weeks. It's a bit of a walk from the main car park, but the location in Santa Maria Square, not far from the tourist office, is pleasant enough. Good foo…

Super lovely staff and nice food! Nice placement in a plaza by the Church. Would recommend and the price range is good for the area.

We were just passing by and they had just opened. The guy who served us was super friendly. We ate inside, as it was freezing on the terrace. You have to go early because it gets crowded and they don't take reservations. We ordered Russian salad with king prawns, pepper steak, wild boar in Moorish sauce (although I didn't see it), and fried snout. I liked the salad, although perhaps the oil on top detracted from the flavor a bit. The pepper steak was very tasty, but the portion was small for the price. The wild boar had good flavor, but for the price, I thought it was a little small compared to other places. I didn't like the fried snout much, but of course, that's just my personal opinion. It didn't taste bad, it was just tougher, and as I said, rather greasy, which is normal for this type of meat. I don't know what the tapa was, but we both agreed it was the tastiest thing we had. As in many places, they charge you an arm and a leg for the soft drinks, although it happened to be super tasty.
The waiters were excellent. The terrace, with plenty of shade, was very pleasant. The menu offers full or half portions; we ordered the half portions. The eggplant was very good and different from what I was used to. Both the venison and stew croquettes were very good. The hake fritters were good. The wild boar was tender, but I wouldn't order it again; it only tasted of the seasoning and was quite ordinary. The portion sizes for the half portions were good, except for the venison croquettes and the wild boar, which were very small considering the price. I understand that the cost of the ingredients is higher. If I returned, I think I would order the same thing again. They don't serve coffee after the meal.
Great place for a coffee or a lunch.
Alejandra and Álvaro were the best waiter and waitress of this place, super attentive, nice and they gave us very good recommendations. To highlight deer, whatever with deer or just a dish of deer. 100% recommendable. It's a bit slow the service coz there is no enough staff for so many tables...this is a point to improve by the owner.
Good tapas for a really cheap price (1€ a piece). Waiters were very good and nice.
The people who run the restaurant are very genuine and friendly. The food would have been nice but for the toxic amount of salt in all the dishes. I know local people like a lot of salt in their food but this was twice the amount of anywhere else and we had asked for less salt to be used. Also the restaurant hours do not match the Google listing and the first evening we visited it was closed despite showing open on Google.
Very good location, usual stop for tourists, crowded, so you should expect higher prices and lower quality than others. That's exactly what we found.
