Excellent place to eat; the food is delicious, the service is very friendly, and everything is freshly made. They have a good variety of stews, typical of the southern region of Tamaulipas.

The beef broth is delicious, all it needs is red sauce.
The food there is delicious, homemade. A simple, quiet, and affordable café.
Based on my experience, I highly recommend this place. I really enjoyed the food because they served a beef broth with vegetables, and it was delicious (I don't usually like vegetables or broths much, but this one was amazing). They serve a choice of main course, such as breaded chicken cutlet, stuffed peppers, etc. Finally, they serve dessert, which depends on what they have prepared that day; one time they gave me rice pudding, and another time flan.

The tacos are a little expensive, that's all, according to me and several other people.
The ones with picadillo were very good, but the flour tortilla didn't taste the same anymore.
Terrible service. They don't post their menu prices, I imagine so they can coordinate them to suit their own interests. Examples: $160 for breaded beef cutlets?? $160 for ranch-style steak with just a few beans on the side??? I don't recommend it, don't go. I would have gladly spent that money at Mil Hornos Restaurant.
In a word, terrible. I don't understand how it's so complicated to serve a bowl of menudo. I mean, 10 minutes go by and they don't even tell you they're preparing it, or anything. And when you ask if it will be much longer before they serve your menudo, another 5 minutes later, the waitress tells you that the person who serves the menudo is busy and that's why mine isn't ready yet. I simply left and I'm unlikely to return to this place.
