Café Veterinaria Cdmx Reviews
Generous portions, delicious seasoning, and very affordable prices, plus student discounts.
It used to be part of the same family as the Design and Architecture cafeteria and the Chemistry annex, offering healthy, meat-friendly, and vegetarian options. The breakfast and full-meal packages were affordable and very well served, but since we returned to in-person activities, the quality and portions of the set meal have dropped, but not the prices. The a la carte dishes are good, though. It has a very pleasant terrace, and although it gets crowded at lunchtime, there's always room; you just have to wait in line to order your food, which moves quickly. The coffee is good, from a pressure coffee machine.
One of the best places to eat in Ciudad Universitaria. The prices are a bit high, but you get what you pay for. The food is tasty, quality, and has good portions. The hot drinks are kept at a good temperature (not scalding hot), and they also accept card payments.
The staff's attention is unparalleled. The food on the daily menu is delicious. The prices are average, comparable to the restaurants found in the surrounding area. The coffee here is delicious and very reasonably priced.
Quite good for a daily lunch cafeteria.
It's a good student cafeteria. During peak hours, there are people waiting for a table and it's very noisy. The food menu sells out quickly, but it's a good place.
Within the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science at UNAM, there is a cafeteria frequented mainly by students. It has both indoor and outdoor seating and a good selection of items to suit all budgets, with prices appropriate for the student population. I am a senior citizen who attended an event at the auditorium of the Institute of Geography at UNAM.
It's one of the Design cafeterias, which are also located in the Faculty of Architecture, the Faculty of Psychology, and the Chemistry Annex. They offer a varied food menu, as well as a daily special that includes soup, a main course, and water. They also offer a variety of other items such as chips, snacks, desserts, salads, and more. It's not always the most affordable place to eat every day as a student, but it's a good option.
It's an option for students to get fast food. It's not as affordable as I imagined. A sandwich with Milaneza costs $45.00. I don't know why I thought they were supporting students with more affordable prices.
Excelent place to take a breakfast. Prices are OK. You can pay with credit card. It's kind of anoying that sometimes tables are used to study while people is waiting to take their meal.
Cheap and good taste.
The coffee is good, although it sometimes loses some quality depending on the brewer. Some brewers tamp the coffee less tightly in the filter and use a slightly smaller amount of coffee, which is noticeable in the final product. The food isn't very good, and the price is a bit high, especially considering that most customers are students. The service is generally good.
A good lunch option for both veterinary students and those from the surrounding high schools. It belongs to the Café Diseño chain and operates similarly. They offer à la carte items (breakfast, lunch, and snacks) or set menus, which include soup, a main course with a side dish, water, and dessert for 55 pesos. It's recommended for students. They also sell flavored coffees, herbal teas, pastries, and salads.
Why not also review things at CU? The food tastes good for a student cafeteria. Affordable prices, good food, and a pleasant location. The problem is that it's a small space. The most delicious dish is the barbecue.
The food is prepared throughout the day. They have a menu with soup, salad, main course, water, and dessert. It's tasty and reasonably priced. It's a good place for students to eat. Around 2 p.m., it gets very crowded, and then there aren't enough tables.
It's fine, the prices are reasonable. When it's busy, spaces run out, and you have to wait. Food also takes a while. But during quiet hours, it's fine. The order of fries is smaller than before, and the alfajores, which are delicious, are now more expensive.
Prices are reasonably good, but don't be fooled by appearances; the food isn't entirely clean. I actually stopped eating there after seeing the cooks handling food with their bare hands. The portions vary wildly; some dishes are generously served, while others come in ridiculously small amounts. If you have a strong stomach and a strict diet, you could eat the salads; otherwise, I'd avoid them.
The portions are getting smaller and the price is getting higher. They don't add rice to the broth and get angry when you ask for a spoonful. They don't wash or disinfect the lettuce properly. A friend of mine even got a worm in her salad. The quality of the menu and customer service has definitely dropped significantly.
