Taqueria El Gorilon Cdmx Reviews
I've known them for years and I've always liked their tacos 🌮 and everything is delicious, I recommend the gringas 🤤😋
Excellent service, the food is always delicious, they serve quickly, there are only a few tables and you have to wait for them to free up.
On this occasion, they served us some delicious tacos, delicious al pastor, fresh tortillas, and an exquisite coffee. We brought home a tasty and filling dish.
The food they prepare is delicious. Good service. They take the appropriate amount of time to prepare food fresh. Fair prices. I've had a great experience so far. I loved their alambres. Very generous portions.
Excellent service and the grilled meats are truly worth it; they're very generously portioned and perfectly seasoned. If you want to forget about cooking and have a hearty and affordable dinner... this is the place... well done, Gorilones!
Super
The food is delicious, definitely the best in the area. The price is a bit high, but the quality is worth it. Sometimes they use less meat, and then the cost is a bit steep. The place is kind of ugly, but it's worth it for the delicious tacos.
The tacos are really good, 100% recommended. The only downside is that I feel they're a bit pricey…but overall the cleanliness and food quality are very good.
Their specialty is tacos al pastor; they're fast and the service is friendly. Taco prices: Pastor: 15 Suadero and campechanos: 16 (The suadero isn't very good)
The establishment is its own, its staff is efficient, however customer service is not the best, the products can be classified as acceptable to the palate and here the lack of organization since there is a large number of people serving; however, you have to be patient to be served, the same as when you go to pay, I think that for the area their prices are a little high. If they improve these aspects they will undoubtedly grow because the competition is not very strong there and they have a good facility.
The tacos are delicious, the alambres are worth it, the prices are reasonable, and the service is fast. The waiters are friendly and provide excellent service. Sometimes it gets crowded, and you have to wait for a table, but it's worth the wait. Personally, I prefer the suadero tacos. The alambres come with perfectly cooked spring onions and nopales, plus a very tasty guacamole.
I've visited three times, and the tortillas have been hard and dry all three times. Aside from that, the pastor is delicious, the gringa is amazing, and the service is good. * If you're going with several families, let them know when you arrive, because they tell you on the way out that they don't split the bills. And it's difficult to separate the items because their receipts aren't easy to understand; they just tally up the amounts ordered with sticks, and only they understand the abbreviations.
I ordered a alambre and the truth is it's not that bad. But the amount they give for the price is very small, which seemed very expensive to me at 275. In Arandas it's cheaper and tastier, and not to mention the taqueria that's above Soriana, where the portions are quite generous and everything is very tasty and affordable.
A gringa de al pastor for 120 or 180 pesos is a joke, it's not like it's imported meat, and they've been selling regular meat at inflated prices for years, and the tortilla is a normal size.
I had a bad experience buying takeout. I didn't notice at first, but when I got home my family realized the meat smelled awful. It was spoiled. Honestly, I always crave it when I pass by, but I'd rather not throw my money away again 😭
The prices for alambres are over $200, and one would expect something of good quality. In my experience, we ordered an alambre (there were two of us), and at the next table, three people ordered the same thing, and the proportion served was extremely high. The tortillas were cold and hard. It was a small amount of alambre at an exaggerated price. The gentleman who served us was very rude. He threw the menu at us, reluctantly left our drinks on the table, and when we collected our food, he returned the stiff tortillas we decided to leave to the taquero. 🤮 I do not recommend it.
The portions look large, but considering the price, they're small, and the flavor isn't the best. They put a peeled lemon slice on top of the lemon pie, leaving only the white pith, which makes the dessert incredibly bitter. They're just good enough to fill you up.
