Always a nice place.... maybe it's gone up a bit in price but when you eat well.....
🔝Everything is wonderful, from the food, to the welcome, to the location, surrounded by nature, large and free parking, tables also outside to enjoy the warm days, and a fireplace in the center of the room with a fire lit in winter to enjoy the snowfalls from the window with a nice hot chocolate, even the pizzeria 🔝
This beautiful place, large and airy, is located at the gates of the splendid Piani di Praglia and is a classic point of passage for those who want to have a good lunch before or after excursions above Genoa. Polenta with delicious tuccu sauce, fantastic, just right firm and full-bodied, very soft and tasty grignolino braised meat and an excellent choice of cheeses; finally, exquisite desserts including apple pie and cake with almond paste and cherries. All at an absolutely reasonable price, and impeccable service!
Everything was delicious. Gluten-free pasta with wild boar, braised beef, baked potatoes with their skins, veal with tuna sauce, and three-chocolate mousse. Everyone in the reviews complains about the slow service, but we're not in a restaurant or a self-service restaurant. If you don't have time to enjoy a good meal outside, don't come!! Beautiful inside and out! The price is ok. We're around 11-12 euros a dish, which is perfectly fine!!!!!!!
Excellent food, enjoyed under the pergola at the tables in front of the restaurant (beautiful both inside and out). The staff were extremely friendly and quick, despite the Sunday crowds. Prices were absolutely reasonable for the dishes, which both the first and second courses were of the right amount and excellent quality. We didn't get to try the desserts; we were too full, alas! But we'll make up for it next time!
Great place on the hills behind Genova, fresh air, dining al fresco. Simple, abundant and very good food. Pappardelle al cinghiale are definitely memorable

This trattoria is surrounded by a beautiful lawn with a children's playground and ample parking. Inside, a spacious and welcoming dining room with a lovely central fireplace. The food is good, featuring classic country fare (polenta, fresh pasta, mushroom and wild boar sauce, braised meat, vegetables, and more). The desserts are excellent.
A beautiful place, very well-kept, very friendly staff, excellent food, and reasonable prices...La Chelina remains an enchanting place, immersed in nature. Happy holidays!
I'm telling you the truth: a beautiful place decorated for Christmas, good food, and very kind people! But please heat better because there were penguins there, and eating in the cold isn't fun for anyone.
I was at this restaurant on 8/06/2025. As a first course, my partner and I chose tagliolini with porcini mushrooms, which was left immediately after the first few mouthfuls. We opted for ravioli with a touch in the middle of the ravioli, but we found tagliolini together. I leave everything behind. I'm very fussy about food, especially not for nothing. I'm very good at cooking. I sailed on passenger ships for seven years, in the past as a kitchen boy, and after a few years of experience, I graduated to chef. Back to us, I ordered a braised meat, according to them, not bad, and as a side dish, very old baked potatoes. I had ordered a Dolcetto d'Alba and they didn't have it. They brought me a Dolcetto d'Ovada, which I left half a bottle on the table. We went to pay and found myself saddled with a bill of 89 euros. Having to make my case, I was attacked by three people, almost physically. Now, I think that reviews should be written with great care and attention so that they don't lead astray.
