Ottimi i primi piatti, soprattutto i pizzoccheri, mi ricordano la cucina casalinga di mia nonna. Antipasti, secondi e dessert nella media. Consiglio di concentrarsi direttamente sui primi, tutti buon…
The pizzas aren't great; it's better to focus on traditional dishes. The ossobuco was tasty, but the meat was a bit stringy. The polenta was excellent in all its versions, as were the other dishes chosen by the rest of the table.
I'm writing this review almost out of a sense of justice. I went to this restaurant on Saturday evening, December 13, 2025. I knew nothing about this restaurant (before now), I only knew one girl (a former employee), a former waitress here. As soon as I entered, my wife and I were left standing in a tight squeeze with 20 other people at the entrance. The owner, waiters, and employees kept coming by, but no one (including the elderly owner), and I assume the grandson who was following his grandfather, deigned to seat us. In fact, when a waitress dared to check our names on the list to see if we could be seated, the owner (Mr. Angelo) came over and yelled at her, telling her to do something else and welcome customers because it wasn't the right time. All this while the grandson was still standing by, laughing and mocking her. Once we were seated at our table (after a good 30 minutes of standing), it took another 40 minutes to order, again because Mr. Angelo and another young woman came to the table to take our order (with a large dining room and someone so old, it takes a long time). He tried to act funny during service by telling jokes, but the gentleman's attempt to make the restaurant seem like a family-friendly and loving place was in vain, as throughout the evening, he and his grandson continued to yell at and humiliate the poor waiters, who were truly working like mad. It also makes me wonder why a 16-17-year-old boy would behave that way. Besides being rude, he appears very apathetic when you go to the cashier to pay, even not thanking you. A truly uneducated boy, but full of malice, most likely fueled by his grandfather, who he saw treating the employees terribly; certainly an unsuitable and mean figure. Speaking of the food, the pizzoccheri were honestly good, perhaps a little too oily, but very flavorful and tasty. My wife had a Valtaleggio pizza, which was also very good. It's a shame, however, that the dirtiness of the place was so evident: the floor was really dirty, and the bar area (visible when you go to pay) was also very dirty. When I left, with a headache and a burning anger at seeing the employees treated so badly, I decided to call the girl who worked there for them... and a whole new world opened up to me. She told me about truly UNHEARD OF incidents: waiters who worked for 10-11 hours without eating, constant rudeness and insults, a completely toxic environment. She even told me about an episode of when her former boss saw a former colleague (their former co-worker) working at another restaurant with his nephew, and, overcome by envy and malice, they decided to leave a false review with very serious accusations just to harm them. Truly absurd. For the mental health of its workers, a place like this isn't worth working in. (I want to point out that whatever response the owner gives, I won't hear from him, because not only does he not deserve my money, he doesn't even deserve my word.)
Pranzo di ferragosto molto scarso per la cifra pagata !! Primi anonimi, senza sapore, porzioni minime, ho chiesto ancora un po’ di gelato (vista la minima porzione servita con tre cubetti di frutta m…
