Restaurante la estancia CERRITO Reviews
The food was great, and the service was outstanding. My server was Kirian and she was very kind. They have a variety of options and Kirian helped me decide what to order. I will definitely come back again. 5 stars!!!!!
This is fine dining in the el barrio. The food, the service, the drinks are outstanding! Parking is kind of hard and the area in which it sits is a little strange--- beside of a laundry mat. But the food is so good. It's worth all of the weirdness that surrounds the outside of the building. Definitely a hidden gem
I was pleased. Took my father here for his birthday. I was expecting the food to have a generic seasoning flavor but no. It tasted like it was home seasoned. If that makes sense. everything was cooked as we requested. Service was wonderful someone constantly came by to check if everything was ok. Bill was about $300 for 4 people. Someone else recommended this place to me and it was wonderful. I definitely would go back. I will say the presentation for the drinks was nice but it didn't really hit the flavoring spot. I had a long island, my sister and father had a piña coladas and they were ehhh...
Strip mall find! Had the Half Parrillada Argentina for two and it was more than enough food (we boxed up one steak). Cooked exactly liked we asked! Steaks and short ribs juicy and tender, sweetbreads and chinchulin remarkable. Gut the yucca frita, hot and crispy. Great big salad. And I’m not normally a sangria lover but theirs is off the charts! Great service and the music they played was awesome. Can’t wait to go back! (Almost forgot the flan which we took home-so good, they even served it with some dulce de leche, just like abuela!)
What an amazing find in my neighborhood! I have been in search of a really good steak and was unhappy with every popular place. The steak was amazing and my kids got chicken dishes and we shared everything. Bring the family and get ready for an incredible dining experience.
Casual no frills Churrasqueria in a strip mall. Attentive quick and very friendly service. Good selection of wines by the glass and smoothies made of fresh fruits. We ordered the special platters: short ribs, steak, Argentine sausages are delicious; the unusual blood pudding, and liver stuffed intestine are tasty if you are feeling adventurous. The chicken and pork chops are marinated well but a bit on the dry side. $84 appears pricy but fed us, two hungry adults and one starving kid with the pork and chicken remaining.
Great environment, professional staff and delicious food. Price is very decent and the quality of food is great. The restaurant is located in a good place, very clean and the servers are very knowledgeable. Definitely I'll be back and recommend you to visit this place. And THE MARGARITAS 😉
Food was good, seasoned well. Counter service was used for takeout. Enough space for dine-in service.
Definitely not a fancy spot but the staff is very nice. Restaurant was crowded and kind of loud. The portions of meats are good and have great flavors I just wish that the side dishes were better (only mashed potatoes and a rather basic salad bar) Overall worth the money, will go again only if I’m in the area
In a couple sentences, leaving a review for a restaurant . Each plate here costs around $30 or more and the side portions are small. We ordered the parrillada, which is supposed to feed 2 to 3 people and comes with two sides, but it was not enough. We paid $86 for it, plus $12 for a piña colada, with a mandatory tip included. Ordered more drinks. Price came out to about 140. I honestly think they’re overpricing for a place like this
l have been searching for a good churrasqueria and decided to come here. While the steak I had was really good it wasn’t what I was expecting when thinking of an Argentinian Churrasco, they only really have NY strips and flank steaks no skirt steaks. However the food isn’t the reason for 3 stars it was actually the service, I noticed my cup was dirty on the inside and I tried telling my server and he insisted that it wasn’t dirty(which okay that may be the case). I still felt uncomfortable drinking from that cup. It just felt like such a weird thing to hassle a customer over when it could’ve been fixed by a quick “oh I’m sorry about that let me get you a new glass”. Other than the other girls whose were working were very nice and attentive. Just wasn’t my cup of tea.
Steak was overcooked. My son’s burger was overcooked, the cheesy rice tastes REALLY BAD.
First of all, the decor is very nice, but the food has nothing Argentine about it. I gave it two stars because the margarita was so good! But then, we asked the server what is in the rice with cheese and he told me that I should know about it, assuming that I am Argentine, which I am not, and then he said that he would not recommend it at all. Second, the dishes are super expensive, and they have nothing (Argentine). They don't even know how to make the Milanesa Napolitana. The Milanesa alCaballo came with two overcooked eggs. We asked for to remake the egg to sunny side as they should be again and they only brought us 1 egg. When we asked why, they told us that it only came with one egg, that they had cooked two eggs before and they didn’t want to waste them, they put two eggs in first. When we asked to speak to the manager, the bartender came and gave us this explanation about the eggs. I told her that the Milanesa has nothing Argentine. She told me that she has her own recipes. She got mad, said it's on the house and left. On the house? I ate two bites of the Milanesa and my husband one of his. After the problem with the eggs, we just asked for boxes to pay and go home. But she just said is on the house. So we left. And this “manager” wasn’t even able to apologize for the misunderstanding. The first and last time, if you want Argentine food DO NOT GO HERE. And my margarita came with a Honduran flag 😑 kitchen needs to learn how to cook Argentinian dishes don’t just put on a chef coat and called y’all selfs chefs they need a lot work to do to bring the customer inn
Disgusting. Its Mexican Bolivian, Argentinine , Pervian cuisin all mixed. Fake Argentine cuisine. Didnt even have chimichurri sauce. The meat is cheap cuts the mashed potato the mixed w water. The bread was stale. Worst food ever
I regret going here, the meats had no flavor. Horrible experience over all, I don’t recommend at all.
