The Loft Cerritos Reviews
We really enjoy the Loft Hawaiian food. They closed the really big nice one in Torrance and now there are multiple small ones with simple decor. The food is still amazing but the atmosphere is a bit less than the big restaurant was. I recommend everything but my favorite dishes are. Lomi Salmon, spam musubi, island style fried chicken, lau law and of course the kalua pork. It seems like everything comes with rice and macaroni salad. 😋 so good. I don't think you can go wrong here everything is delicious.
I so miss living near this restaurant. I recently went in while I was in town for family. I used to go here all the time until nine years ago. I always get the same thing, Kahlua Pork. Most excellent and the quality has not changed since! The staff is always awesome I moved to Missouri nine years ago. We need a Loft out here ! ( hint hint, lol ) Yes, I highly recommend them! Thank you for always providing the same quality food and service, much appreciated !
You know a place is good when the customer service is on point and the dining room looks original. The food quality and flavor is as if a family member made it. Great portions for price. I had the 2 entree platter with the Korean Barbequed Beef and Barbequed Char Siu Chicken, both were full of flavor. The sides were perfect as always and it is hard to pick my favorite part of the plate, all are so good!! (Don't forget the Hawaiian Hot Sauce)
Don't come here pretty often, even though its pretty close. Kind of hesitant because the food is not really consistent in the past but gave it another shot and the food quality is really good. I really love there island style fried chicken and kalbi. There side spamusubi is really good to with teriyaki sauce. Food wasn't consistent in the past but now it is and a pretty solid joint to try and experience. Food is kind of pricey if you order a platter with 2 combos almost cost me $20 including a drink.
Loft Hawaiian is located right across from H-Mart grocery store. The Loft Hawaiian food was really tasty, Chinese chicken salad was really good, Luo short ribs again, were super tasty. One issue, their restroom was really disgusting, not sanitary, the signs say to wash your hands (employee mandated by the state) before leaving. Avoid the restroom and go to H-Mart and use theirs...
My girlfriend loves the place so recommend to order by phone since they take more than usual if ordered there.....today we dine in really really nice customer service ..I also asked if any games were on .. and the rapidly search for a game .. I'm happy now I know why she likes this place besides the big portion of food the amount of beef wow...nice
Really good healthy food. The spam masubi is good. I really enjoyed the boneless teriyaki chicken.
look the food is definitely not groundbreakingly good, but that was some hearty dining; just adore that they've got a half portion for the loco moco, and it tracked pretty closely to the ones i've had in hawaii, just lighter i'd say. the sauce was warm and savoury but not very rich-heavy, so it was more cosy than indulgent. the tangy-cold macaroni pasta was a nice cut in the meatiness and the chicken itself wasn't really seasoned at all, but the crispiness slayed; really the spot for casual, lighter-palate hawaiian foods in a family-diner vibe despite the rather standoffish service..? 🤨
Food does not taste as good as normal. Canbage salad not fresh and no sesame seeds. Meat is so dry and not much flavor. Disappointing.
Ordered saimin, Korean short ribs, teriyaki. Saimin was super salty.almost couldn't eat it. Rinsed noodles and did not use broth. We usually dine in and enjoy the ribs and teriyaki but we ordered to take home and was disappointed this time around. Please do better with every order. I like to support this venue but
Gave only three stars because the service lately hasn’t been the best we order from here once a month and the most disappointing thing happened last night we ordered to go last night to drive home a 30 min drive away to see we didn’t get any of Mac salads. Not one missing but all three! That’s what makes the dish whole and the meal amazing such a let down!
Honestly dont go to this location the one in cypress is way better. I went tonight to get food and there was a bunch of young kids working there just standing around talking and watching sports on TV. When I picked up my food they didnt include any utensils or napkins inside of the bag and when I asked for sriracha they barely had them filled a quarter of the way. The meat was dry and didnt have any taste to it i had to drown it in teriyaki sauce also there salad was very bland. I will not ever return to this location the only reason I even had to get my food from this location was because the one is cypress was closed for some reason. Please just stay away from this location its not worth spending ur money to eat here.
First time here and never have had bad Hawaiian food until today . Nothing tasted fresh :( Chicken was over cooked and very dry , Mac was very blan and the rice tasted like left overs from the night before . I was bummed out because I herd this was the spot. I even came in here hungry you know the hungry where everything tastes better was still let down. The kids there running it were nice that was the only positive
The photos of this place are misleading. It's dirty; you can see a grimy layer of dirt on the outside windows, as well as muddy floors and dirty walls inside. I entered hungry but was instantly turned off by how dirty the place was and had to walk away.
What happened to the Loft? Thier food use to be so good! NOW!!! Portions are super small. Meat is very dry!! No sauce at all. I asked for hot sauce thinking they would have thier hawian hot sauce like they use to have. NOPE! Only Sriracha. We asked for double macaroni salad. Only got one. We had to ask again for the second order. We won't go back.
