Absolutely love this place! The sandwiches are amazing — you can really taste the freshness in every bite. The sourdough bread is baked perfectly with that signature crunch on the outside and softness inside. Their clam chowder is hands down one of the best around — rich, creamy, and full of flavor, especially when served in the bread bowl. The staff is always friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the food consistently hits the spot. Whether it’s lunch on the go or a cozy sit-down meal, Sourdough & Co in Turlock never disappoints. Highly recommend!
My husband and I recently visited Sourdough & Co and had an amazing experience! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the warm and friendly service. The staff was attentive, helpful, and made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious — you can really taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients in every bite. The sandwiches were perfectly made with fresh-baked sourdough bread, crisp veggies, and flavorful meats. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared and super fresh. We’ll definitely be coming back again soon. Highly recommend Sourdough & Co if you’re looking for a place with great food, friendly service, and a clean, welcoming atmosphere!
Great food, fresh and tasty Clean and the service was exceptional I will be back
Very satisfied with the welcoming customer service I received from DJ.Being greeted and acknowledged while walking in is something I always respect and appreciate. DJ and his fellow co—worker delivered excellent customer service and in a very timely manner. I ordered a Turkey sandwich with avocado and it was super yummy. Thank you gentlemen for your excellent customer service. You are appreciated and I would definitely stop by to eat lunch again.
Sourdough & Co recently had their soft opening, and I can say that their sandwiches were really good. I ordered the Pesto Turkey, which comes with the basic toppings - meat, cheese, lettuce and tomato. This sandwich probably would have been better with a pepperoncini (in my opinion) but I’ll know to ask for next time. The overall wait time was less than 7 minutes, and once my order was placed, it took them 3 minutes to make my sandwich. Overall, a great tasting sandwich (spouse agreed), friendly staff, and approximately $12 for an 8” sandwich (no chips or drink). One other thing of mention is that the ingredients tasted fresh, and the sourdough was not hard. It was soft enough to eat without tearing up your mouth. Oh, and be sure to park on the side of the building- by Domino’s, otherwise you will get stuck by the drive thru from the business next door.
Outstanding good food kind help Great sandwich. Clean and new Mot importantly kind helpful staff. Not sure how anyone could say anything but AAA plus. Clean! Great food and great service. Pretty sure this is a local Turlock family owned sandwich shop and it shows! Super clean restrooms! Too to bottom outstanding.
My husband and I stopped by on a whim with our kids just in time for Sourdough & Co. to open @ 11am. We had never been there before, and we were STARVING. We were conveniently able to check out their menu online to make it a quick order experience. We ordered 2 bowls of their clamchowder (one in a famous sourdough bread bowl), and mac and cheese for the kids to go. The wait wasn't very long at all, and it gave me a good opportunity to look around and take pictures. They have indoor dining available, friendly and professional staff, a good clean establishment with a polished rustic atmosphere! The sourdough bread was SO GOOD! I'm used to stuff like from Boudin's in SF which has a tougher crust and often scrapes the roof of my mouth. Sourdough & Co.'s bread had the crunch to the crust, without cutting up my mouth and the inside was so fluffy and warm even after getting home! I've never been a huge fan of sourdough bread, but I've been craving theirs ever since! Their clam chowder was excellent and was somehow hearty without being too heavy, and the mac and cheese was thoroughly enjoyed by my picky eater! We can't wait to go back! Sorry no pictures of the food this time... it was devoured as soon as we got home!
I had an amazing sandwich, the cholula chicken! I added bacon and avocado and it was sooooo good. DJ helped me out and he was super amazing at helping me choose my item, and everything else. I only needed half a 6 inch because the sandwich had so many toppings with just the perfect amount of veggies, cheese and meat. And the crunch!! With a free pickle on the side! Seriously couldn't get better. Definitely will be back!
We got catering from Sourdough in Turlock and it was Flawless. Dj was very helpful In placing the order. We got a sandwich platter and a catering Caesar Salad. Presentation was perfect for our event. We look forward to using them again in the few.
Love coming to this location . Food always hot and tasty . Staff members friendly and welcoming . Family oriented . Over all the best in Stanislaus county ! Price is worth because the food and staff g r e a t !

Sourdough is my go-to for a quick, solid sandwich. The bread is always fresh, everything tastes clean, and the prices make sense for what you get. No extra fuss — just good food that hits every time.
As someone who is a huge sandwich guy I was really surprised by how freaking good this place was! Everything from the vibe of the atmosphere to the quality of the food, it felt like I was in a family owned specialty restaurant. But what made this spot different was the service. I met with who seemed to be the manager and he treated me with respect and made me feel like I was a long time customer. What’s wild is I’ve been to one of these locations before In Folsom and the experience was totally different. Highly recommend the French dip and more importantly recommended going in early afternoon if u want the best lunch u can get in the Central Valley.
Sourdough is easily one of the best sandwich spots around. The bread is fresh, soft, and has that perfect sourdough tang. Portions are big, ingredients taste clean, and everything feels thoughtfully put together. The staff is quick and friendly, and the whole vibe is relaxed and welcoming. If you want a sandwich that actually fills you up and tastes premium, this place is worth the stop.
Best place to eat. I love the food and love the staff. Super friendly people and overall experience is a 10/10

I really like this location. It's always clean. The staff are always so professional. I am a little hard of hearing / processing, and the gentleman taking my order was very nice and repeated himself more than most people could tolerate. And I appreciated that level of customer service. The food is always made extremely well, I've never had a bad experience with food or service. The price point is accurate, the quality of the food , taste, service, and satisfaction is all included. It was approximately $58 for 2 adults and one child to each have their own meals.
Had clam chowder soup bread bowl ($12.99) and soda ($3.49). Soup was very warm; it could have been just a tad hotter. Service is OK, you order at the counter and they bus it to your table. Atmosphere was rustic with: gray painted walls, some stainless steel in the kitchen and beverage station, old wood and brick (probably faux). I really enjoyed the music, it was LOUD, NOT set to background setting. 4 tables with chairs and several bistro styled tables. No booths here. See the video I posted. My first time here; it appears that about 10% is dine in and the rest is either take out or delivery. So you will probably dine in with hardly anybody there if you choose to dine in. Sandwiches are pricey, starting at $9.99 for a 4", $2 more for a 6" and $2 more for a 8"; if my memory serves me correctly. 4" price is for sure.
This place was recommended as a good place to have a French dip with au jus dip. Sourdough company had some great food. I enjoyed the mac and cheese and French dip was good. I feel like the sandwich could use a little more meat. The service is really good and the people here are very friendly. The place is very clean and well kept. Fyi- They put mayonnaise in their French dip. Extra star for veteran discounts. Found drinks, veteran discounts, small portions.
I give this 3.5 stars. Excellent sourdough bread. Liked the French dip. Dipping sauce was a perfect match. Maybe I was hungry, but my family agreed on their sandwiches.

The sandwiches are great!! But the website says they close at 8pm on friday and Saturday and I showed up before 7:30 and they were closed. They had taken down the hours for friday and Saturday on their building. Very unprofessional.

Came in yesterday and asked if they could make a salad into a wrap. The lady said no problem and it was doable. The first thing I noticed was how tiny the wrap was it literally looked like a taquito. The price was NOT worth the amount of food. The wrap was also closed with tape? I’ve worked food service before never have I used tape to wrap food up but upon ripping it open (the only way too) it wasn’t even rolled up correctly! Which explains the tape lol. Spilled the whole salad out of the tortilla cus she didn’t know how to wrap it correctly. They should just take the wraps off the menu. I’m going to add a wrap I’ve gotten at another restaurant vs the one I got here at sourdough & Co. The only reason I put a 1 star is because the salad was decent.

Was charged a total of $20.58 for a 4” sandwich, cup of soup, and a drink (said to be the “meal”). When I asked about pricing and what was included with the meal option, the cashier was rude and visibly frustrated that I was asking questions. I received no bread for my soup, while other members of my group received two pieces. Disappointed, as I have been before and had pleasant experiences, including good food.
Ordered a hot pastrami sandwich off of DoorDash. It came with a little amount of meat and not hot and the cookie I ordered was hard as a rock.
