This place is a hidden treasure! You have to go! You have to eat a burger, or rather try to eat a burger. Get the tornado fries!! You can thank me later. I can’t wait to go back. I was seriously sending pictures to friends and family while I was there eating to tell them about this place. Don’t be afraid when you see the location. Go, and take your family. It’s that kind of place.

Spectacular. I'd give it 10 stars. Quaint little café kitchen on the East side down I10. Experience was excellent. Went with a couple coworkers for lunch on Friday @12:30p. We were greeted promptly, we sat where we wanted. Lorena our waitress was friendly cordial and knew the menu. She also didnt mind sharing a laugh as well. Our orders came out quickly and correctly. Let me tell y'all we ate everything on the plates. Nothing was left it was so tender, hot, fresh, and savory. I had the chicken fried steak, someone else got fried catfish and lastly my friend special ordered grilled catfish. They had no cookong it differently than what the menu said. BTW the silverware was bronze colored and heavy. It felt like tools and believe me for this restaurant they take their food and service seriously. Met with Roger the owner and the lead asst manager and one of the cooks came out to greet us. Everything was outstanding!!!

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The flavors of the food were lovely. The finicky eaters in my group were quite satisfied with their dishes. The children's plate of chicken tenders offered a hearty portion which provided us with leftovers for the next day. We were pleased with the prices and customer service. I highly recommend this restaurant whether you're a local or a passerby traveling through. It's located right off the highway.

!!!Customers and truckers beware!!! If you are looking for cheap quality food or ridiculous small portions of food, this place is not for you! This Texas size place is great to fill up any Texan size tummy. Great food and prices! This is my second time and will visit more! $2 margarita is a plus! My go-to favs are mac-n-cheese, burgers, bowl of chili, chicken fried chicken, and mash. I have been here numerous of times and have friends that make this their stop after my recommendation. Most all items are Texas-size! I had a very mixed experience. When we first arrived it seemed like we'd have a nice experience, the decor is nice and we were attended quickly. After we got our wings which were really good by the way, our service became very bad. The kitchen was backed up, but we never got any communication or refills from our waitress. Our food came out after 45 minutes of waiting. The burgers, though big, were not that tasty. I may give them a second try, but overall I was very unimpressed.

Food was mediocre at best. Cream gravy was thin flavorless and lumpy. Macaroni any cheese wasn't cheesy and tasted like it was laced with jalapeno juice. I had told the waitress i didn't care for spicy things. She neglected to tell me about the jalapeno juice in the macaroni and cheese. Potatoes were bland with no butter and gravy. Pretty much every other place i have eaten includes a piece of bread or a roll with the meal this place doesn't. The waitress was nice at first then she quickly decended in to high school mean girl talk and got very inappropriate. All this along with restricted hours has me saying give this place a pass. Not worth the time or money.

We used to come here very often and always had great food and service but something has changed! The waiter was very sweet but the food was less than mediocre. When I questioned about their being a new cook the cook who was there came out and accused us of messing up the restroom the last time we were there. I’m not sure what that’s all about as we have never used the restroom besides washing our hands before our meal. Also, the portion sizes have really shrunk. You can’t get people to come to your restaurant and serve them nice decent size portions and then shrinking them down to kids plates at most. The cook on duty was the nastiest person we have ever met in a restaurant setting. This is sad as we loved Texas Forever Bar and Grill. Also something else we have noticed about is the turnover on employees. That could be a sign. The cook Should probably look for a job where he doesn’t have to deal with people. If he’s that miserable he should quit. When speaking to him about the food, he yanked up my ticket and tore it in front of my face and told me to never return. Ok! No prob, bob! Cafeteria food at best. Charged 9.00 for a small burnt grilled cheese. I had a group order and none of them were good. Fried Shrimps look like they were from a box you get at Walmart. The soup was halfway full and bland. If I could give zero stars I would. And what is with the inflation charge? 7 orders that was over 100.00 but we got cafeteria food. Food trucks on the side of the road have way better food than this slop. Very disappointing especially since it looks nothing like the menu. We feel cheated that we got this subpar food that not only took forever but was bland and terrible.
