Barbieri Chiari Reviews
Pasticceria molto buona. Quando sono nei paraggi per lavoro, mi fermo sempre a fare colazione con i colleghi. Consiglio
Excellent place, very good pastries and cakes and well prepared and tasty appetizers, I really recommend it, very beautiful and everything top
Pistachio Brioche Infinitely delicious!
I've been coming here since I was little. Simple place with excellent service and products.
A real find near the center of Chiari. A lovely, quiet, and welcoming place to enjoy an excellent breakfast. The croissants are fantastic, and you absolutely must try them all.
Opposite the Rocca (or rather, the site where the Rocca Viscontea once stood) is this charming pastry shop with a lovely interior and a small outdoor area where it's a pleasant place to enjoy a delicious aperitif accompanied by a generous plate of appetizers at a more than fair price. Or a toasted sandwich for lunch. The waitresses are attentive and helpful.
A nice place to grab a coffee and buy some excellent pastries. The parking lot is often full, but you can also walk in for a treat. Friendly and reliable service.
Cheep & Best service.
I'd recommend this place to doughnuts' lovers. Their krapfen alla crema (doughnut filled with cream) is absolutely delicious! The muffins are also pretty good. When it comes to coffee, though, their espressos and cappuccinos are not always good.
Good pastry shop, brioche could be improved, outside tables only. Self service, shame.
Mistero.
Poor pastry in my experience, no service at the outside tables and very unprepared staff
Good pastry shop but the staff doesn't know how to be polite, they don't do table service and then you see the waitress carrying trays to whoever she likes, a shame because the quality of the products is good and fresh but I WOULD NOT GO BACK.
Terrible experience. We came in for its convenient location and the lack of other attractive places, but we received terrible service from the lady behind the counter. Lured by the description of it as a "pastry shop," we ordered two brioches that didn't seem fresh and didn't come from a pastry shop: hard on the outside and dry inside, as if they'd been there for at least a day. We won't be returning.
Nice place if you want to do someone a disservice. The pastry was years old, not even days old. Table service is NOT available. And the juice in the carton at the bakery is fine, what do you expect it to be compared to the rest?
My daughter bought some pastries for us today, thinking it would be a nice gift. Too bad the pastries were "old"...the pastry was soggy, the fruit was sour, the cream puffs seemed plasticized, and as for the creams, we didn't have the courage to try them...the consistency was waxy and the color was dull. Evidently the store lights mask the flaws you immediately notice as soon as you bring them home. It takes courage to sell that kind of stuff!!
Terrible experience. We ordered two cappuccinos (I make better foam at home) and a croissant with pistachio cream (just a little dirty on top and no cream inside) that didn't even seem fresh. We paid €4.60, and when I asked for a receipt, I didn't realize they gave me one (already printed) for €1.70 for a ginseng coffee.
If someone comes into the bar and orders at the counter, there's only one reason: They're in a hurry! They clear the tables first, and then, if they remember, they'll ask you what you want... what a shame, a nice place and a top location.
I've been monitoring the cleanliness of the place for some time now, and honestly, I've reached the point where I can report it. Being a pastry shop, you'd expect the utmost cleanliness, but after months of visual inspection, the dust continues to accumulate. The tables aren't cleaned between customers, and dust collects in the metal structure underneath the table. I can only imagine what I'd find if I were to go to the lab. Maybe it's best not to think about it. I have the photo but can't upload it.
Terrible! I've never had tea served like this. Basically, if they bring you supermarket tea, at bars they'll give you a selection to choose from and a teapot. But if I pay 2.30, you won't bring me a supermarket tea bag, you'll bring me the one on the price list. 🤔 I might be exaggerating a bit, but disappointed. Not to be returned, at least for me.
