We dined at this restaurant in the typical alleyways of Chiavari. The location is very intimate, and, being a wine bar with a kitchen, it has many bottles on display, creating a very charming atmosphere. There are only a few tables, so reservations are highly recommended. Because it was a company Christmas dinner, the menu was pre-established. Having not read the menu, I don't know the variations, but our dinner was seafood-based. In addition to the excellent grain focaccia they prepared, we started with the appetizer: creamed Jerusalem artichoke soup, lightly seared purple shrimp, lemon, and Bonini balsamic vinegar. Truly excellent, delicate, and flavorful. As for the first course, yellow saffron gnocchi, calamari, artichoke cream, garlic, and olive oil: I must say, it was a delicacy. The saffron was just the right amount, adding a touch of class to the dish. The second course was Morrone cooked at a low temperature on a cream of broccoli and served with spinach: truly delicious, the cooking brought out the fish's rich flavor; perhaps the only negative was the spinach, which, being sautéed in garlic, tended to cover it. I should point out that my review doesn't take into account the menu choice, the price, or the dessert we brought from the pastry shop: overall, however, I'm very satisfied with this dinner!

The restaurant is small but very welcoming, ideal for couples or small groups (in the summer, a few outdoor tables increase the capacity). The dishes are excellent in both quality and presentation, and the wine list is also good. The owner, Antonio, is a wine expert and owns a decent wine cellar (ask for recommendations). The desserts are excellent. Good value. A benchmark for dining in Chiavari.

Great food, properly cooked and very good service however it's significantly overpriced. If they decreased antipasti prices and slightly increased mains while topping up the quantity I think could make a huge difference
