Chico is my home town and I’ve lived here a while year and only today have stepped foot into the wonderful coffee shop that is Mondos the vibe inside the coffee house is smooth while the light music plays in the background there are fun little sayings painted on boards all through the great breakfast menu. They also have a great selection of regular coffees to self pour of you like regular coffee and savings.

This coffee house is clean and cozy enough to be your breakfast nook. The staff is incredibly nice and I always get the best serve when I go in. The breakfast sandwiches are to die for. You get to choose your own bagel, and who can say no to garlic aioli?!

Great coffee, I liked the Lassen Sandwich for brunch, though the breakfast food here is great too. Relaxed Dark Academia aesthetic, with lots of old leather couches, dark wood tables, books and plants scattered throughout.

I love local-based coffee shops, and Mondos Coffeehouse is no exception! I have always supported local businesses, and believe that we all should. The coffee, pastries, and breads are great here, as well as the employee-customer interface and general ambiance of both the interior and exterior aspects of the coffee shop. The location is convenient, as it is close by to other restaurants, as well as a Safeway and Walgreens across the street. What really stood out to me, is the breakfast jalapeno and cheddar cheese bagel sandwich that I had ordered. Being vegetarian, I was able to tailor my order accordingly, and the sandwich was wonderful! I definitely recommend Mondos sandwiches to everyone! You will not regret trying them! Good job, Mondos! Thank you for making me feel at home here in Chico!

I got the breakfast burrito with sausage not a lot of flavor but for the price I’m not complaining also bought a bottled orange juice would come back to try something else

I used to live right behind Mondo's and now I live 500+ miles away from it, and I'm still considering driving back home just for a 5am breakfast sandwich. 4.9/5, only because they don't deliver to SoCal.

Needed to go to Chico, as my kid was sick. Also, needed to have a Basecamp for some work in the morning. Mondo's hit the spot. I got a Breakfast Bagel Sandwich and a coffee. Food and coffee were great, wifi was fast, nice place to work from for a few hours.

The food is mouthwatering and has plenty of variety. All the servers are attentive and polite and the whole concept behind the business is just awesome!! Thank you for being inclusive!!

Stopped by to get breakfast and lattes to-go. Breakfast was shockingly done before our drinks, but those came out shortly after. Service was good, breakfast was simple but delicious, and coffee was decently good. Breakfast might be a little overpriced for what it is, but I’d probably pay it again because it was fast, hot, and yummy. Seating is a little awkward and tables seemed a little dirty and/or rundown, so the atmosphere wasn’t exactly inviting otherwise I would love to come and do work here. Solid to-go spot.

I typically LOVE this little joint and I used to go here almost every day. I hadnt been in months until this morning when I had a craving for a dirty chai and a cinnamon raisin bagel. The girl at the front seemed to be having a bad morning, as we all do, so I didn’t think much of it. She didn’t make the right drink:( just a regular chai and my bagel was whole grain not cinnamon raisin:( only reason I didn’t ask for new ones is because I found out in the car on my way to work. Super disappointed. Still giving 4 stars because I love what they do for adults with developmental disabilities and usually love my order when it’s correct.

I had a few minutes and needed to get some work done so I popped in for a sandwich and some coffee. The sandwich wasn't bad but it did seem a bit soggy but the coffee, ho ho the coffee, was so good. I got my self a pour over of the heart of darkness and it was so smooth and delicious. The space however was not super comfortable to work in like some other coffee shops but I was still able to get stuff done. It is a great cup of coffee and a pretty decent sandwich and would recommend it to people looking to get good food not in downtown.

Excellent coffee and food. This is an establishment that employs people with disabilities and trains them. I'm very satisfied every time I'm here, I particularly enjoy the breakfast burritos. They take a few minutes to prepare them but it's cooked fresh.

To be honest, the customer service during my visit wasn’t that great. The girl behind the counter seemed like she would rather be anywhere else. She was quite impatient, and wasn’t very personable. Also, I was a little unimpressed with the coffee. I ordered a white chocolate mocha and it has a strawberry taste to it. There was also a bit of a stuffy smell on the inside of the café. But I got a bagel as well, and that was absolutely delicious. It tasted homemade. Overall, it wasn’t that great of a visit. I probably won’t be visiting again. But I do recommend the bagels. Especially the jalapeño cheddar one.

Meh, not a friendly place at all. Almost feels like you are bothering them by coming in. I went there because they advertise bagel sandwiches but when I get there they only have Jalapeño bagels. It was early in the morning so obviously there bagels are not fresh. Place is almost empty probably won’t be here too much longer.

Coffee from 2 different carafes we tried was just about the weakest I've ever had anywhere. It looked like tea as it poured, and refills weren't even free (although we didn't want any after one cup anyway). Avoid. Breakfast bagel sandwiches were just okay, and too expensive at 10.50 each for what you get. The bagels are very airy, so there's not much substance there.

Good food, horrible customer service. When you advertise you will be open until 3:00 you should be open until 3:00. My boyfriend came in for me to pick up some food an hour before closing and they refused to make a sandwich despite being open for another hour. Horrible lack of customer service and show poor management of in the business.
