This restaurant’s atmosphere was cozy, warm, and friendly. The sushi was incredibly fresh and delicious! The service was excellent, very attentive, and friendly. My favorite dish is the salmon skin salad; it is crunchy and lightly dressed. I would highly recommend this restaurant to any sushi lover.

Hidden Gem in chino hills the sushi & izakaya is to die for. Super affordable fresh, local, ingredients the food just melts in your mouth. The service, food, and atmosphere are top tier that you won't find anywhere else . Plenty of inside dining space and gorgeous decorated outside space enough to accompany large parties and even catering. For a la Carte sushi this is the spot!!!! If I could give a 1000/10 🔥all menu prices are current 🤯

I am feeling super accomplished in life after finding this GEM of a sushi spot. As a sushi lover I have tried many, and I mean MANY sushi restaurants, in the SoCal region. Chobap is hands down in my Top 5 list now. Cuz boy was I blown away with my recent experience. Every sushi piece was EXTRAORDINARY that I couldn’t help but keep dancing in my seats. I had to ask the staff how the fish was so fresh and delicious and was informed that the owner goes out and hand picks all the delivery - with new shipments coming in almost daily. The dedication and love that does into the quality is just WOW. This place unfortunately isn’t the most local to me but I have to visit again soon before it comes out in my dreams LOL. Can’t wait!!

Easily the best sushi I’ve had in Chino Hills, or Diamond Bar. I went alone ate at the bar. The service was outstanding, people couldn’t be nicer. Servers recommendations were the best things I ordered. Will definitely come again.

First time and will definitely not be the last! Good deals, FRESH sushi & sashimi, and they know how to party 🙌 the whole staff was extremely nice and kind. Extremely satisfied and full, wish we had a bigger stomach. We got the any 1 roll + sashimi, salmon on fire 🔥, lemon fresh roll, gyozas, and a salmon collarbone. ALL AMAZING. Thank y’all for a great night.

Well the atmosphere as I walked in was well lit and very warm and welcoming. I've been in Chino Hills for a few years and was looking for a good sushi place. The sashimi is so fresh and up to my standards. I love their agedashi tofu and especially the grilled squid. Must try was the 24 piece sashimi combo chefs choice in which Mason did his best to my tasting. Love it that they accommodate me and my family. Thank you!!!

Best sushi restaurant experience ever! Atmosphere was amazing, and the staff, manager, and owner were some of the friendliest people I’ve met. The manager, Ryan, made us feel like family. Mason, the owner, came over to the table to greet us and couldn’t be nicer. Our server, John, provided great recommendations. As soon as we walked in, the whole staff was singing happy birthday to a customer and playing music. The sushi was amazing and reasonably priced. We will definitely be returning!

I often enjoy sashimi and sushi in South Korea and Japan, so honestly, I don’t usually have high expectations for sushi in the U.S. However, the sashimi and sushi here were incredibly fresh, and the tempura and Sapporo Draft beer we ordered together were also excellent. The owner and staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was lively and enjoyable. My whole family was extremely satisfied with our dinner. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Our new go to spot for sushi. We’ve been here once a week for a month now. 😅 Owner is so kind and makes you feel like family. All of the workers are so lovely. You can’t go wrong with the Pink Lady and the Caliente roll. We’ve been so pleased so far and can’t wait to keep coming back!

Their menu prices increased and they added some big "wow" items which use truffle oil, but the quality and portions of the staple items did not increase. If anything I was given less beef in my usual bento (pictured). Higher prices with lower portions is a huge deal-breaker for me. The overall quality of the sushi and nigiri itself wasn't anything exceptional, even when paired with tsuru bishio aged soy sauce from Yamaroku. I don't think I'm going back here and will have to find a new spot, unfortunately.
