The food here has always been consistent and the service matches it.
Every time I visit flo’s everyone is extremely nice and welcoming, food is delicious, feels like you’re right at home!
Im going to have to call this restaurant a whole in the wall! 😄😆 you probably need to know someone who knows the place to get there. From the outside it doesn't look like there will such a great place with awesome food and service. We loved! The food! The cornbeef hash was amazing! I still need to try their pies.
Love this place! Never a long wait, even on the weekends. They have the best pies and food in general. The staff is wonderful. Cozy, family vibes. Can’t say enough great things about this restaurant!
Good home cooking, awesome atmosphere and everyone is very friendly.
Flo’s Chino Airport Cafe is a So Cal icon. I have been going to Flo’s for the better part of 30+ years. The prices have climbed as have most venues, but there is always a hearty meal and service with a smile 😉(kudos Roxanne!)
This place has been around for a long time and for a good reason. Generous servings good prices lots of options. My wife and I stopped for breakfast both plates we're delicious. Took home some pie suggestions and those were both great as well.
Every Thursday they have corn, beef and cabbage which is delicious. That's what my recent visit was for. I hadn't had it in quite a long time and it's still just as Delicious as ever.
Cute little OG spot tucked in by the Chino airport. Great service and food. On the weekends you may need to wait a few minutes to get seated but worth it. They make their own pies so make sure you check the board on the wall for what is available. If you are really hungry check out the breakfast burger.
Flo's is pretty much the perfect airport Cafe. They make their own pies, the waitress calls you honey and the food is just what you'd expect from an old fashioned Cafe, though with a few California twists. I had a BLT with house made potato chips and backed it up with a slice of pumpkin pie. The only disappointment was that they were out of apple pie. I might need to go back. It's comfortably between the Planes of Fame Museum and the Yanks Air Museum, both of which are top notch. A really good airplane day would start at one museum, have a break for lunch at Flo's, and then visit the other museum.
Great place always enjoy the meals and company. Their the best waitresses.
Very good service and very good food. Would definitely recommend this place for breakfast. Had eggs, biscuits and gravy. The bacon and sausage was excellent and the coffee was nice and strong. Love the history look in this place gives you a very old school diner type vibes. Also it's right by the airport so you see small planes. Would definitely recommend this place its a must try if you are in the area and if you areva local I'm sure it's already your go too spot.
The patty melt was delicious! The BBQ burger was pretty good and we heard no complaints about the Reuben. Fries are nicely seasoned. Good service. The restaurant is a little bit of a taxi. You do get to go by some cool aircraft though. ATC was friendly and extremely helpful.
Simply love Flo’s. They are a local institution for the locals (which we are :-)) Of you like crispy bacon, they do it better than anyone. They are known for their biscuits and gravy though.
American classic dinner but with such a great variety of real home cooked food. Always hopping at peak times. Wish there were more of this place r. Been around for a long time thankfully! You won't be disappointed.
We've been going to Flo"s since the late 60s always healthy home cooking large servings country style atmosphere and we can't forget about Roxanne who's been there forever. Respectfully John and Dawn Castaneda family
What a great little spot near the Chino airport. Have some breakfast and then go check out the museum, really cool.
Flo’s Airport Cafe is a charming spot with an old-school diner vibe, conveniently located near the Chino Airport. The service is friendly and fast, making it perfect for a quick meal. The menu offers hearty breakfast options and classic comfort food, with generous portions at reasonable prices. Their signature biscuits and gravy stand out for flavor and nostalgia. While the decor feels dated, it adds to the retro charm. A great stop for locals and aviation enthusiasts alike!
This is my first time here at this Restaurant and the Waiter Beth did a perfect job on taking my order and serving the Burrito I purchased. The Burrito is very big and I got full plus the coffee was perfect. Thank you.
This place is just like moms cooking.. don't expect the next best instagram worthy spot. This is good food, make you wanna come back hospitality, and heartfelt neighborhood kinda place.. I will continue to come back here more.. loved everything about it . Thanks for the great food and great friendly service.
What a gem that only Chino's has and nowhere else does great for breakfast and lunch only.... I must say that the Bisquick n gravy is my absolute favorite and our family has been going to flos since it first opened and still do to this day
This is a great diner. We drive an hour just to go eat here. It's well worth the drive. Order the biscuits and gravy you won't be disappointed.
Straight out of a time capsel, Definitely one of a kind! Me & the wife were at the Chino FedEx yard found this hidden gem. Decent size parking lot were to park truck without issues and tear down on some breakfast. The hashbrown, salsa, bacon and portion sizes is what stood out. Place was packed but they got seat quickly. Sever was great! Waitress took care of us quickly didn't ever feel like I was waiting on her lol. We'll definitely be back soon!!
This place is great. Good price good food and very nice and caring people. If your in the area definitely stop by highly recommend.
Flo's is a Great place to eat. I first ate there in the mid 80's. It's just a good now as it was back then. I eat there when ever I am in the area. I just wish I owned a plane, so I could fly in anytime I wanted. Flo's is a much go-to eatery
Stopped in before hitting planes of fame. Wonderful food, I'd suggest getting the biscuits and gravy. Staff is nice. It's cool.to see all the photos around the walls. Overall I left full and happy. Would also recommend trying their pie
a great classic diner for night shift workers to stop by after work! friendly service and very warming
This is a great place to eat food is the best 👌people are great 👍, you need to be hungry for there is lots of food to eat. This place is a win win win 🏆
My family and I are happy to come back to our favorite place in town, Flo's Airport Cafe in Chino,CA. The food is tasty, the service is quick and attentive and all people treated us like family. Flo's Airport Cafe by the Chino Airport is Open and rocking. A jewel in town. Thanks to Robbie our waitress and Beth. They made our day amazing. I loved the tuna melt, and my child loved the kids' Golden French Toast. My hubby got the Beefeater sandwich, to late to take a pic, that is how good it is. Thanks again.
I've been coming here OMG!65 years, My Dads airplane was in a few photos on the walls at one point, as for the food, Well I've come back. Bringing all my friends, And It has been great every time, No favorites other than the biscuits and gravy service is always excellent.
The most classic breakfast and pies in town! When it comes to children fried steak, eggs, biscuits and gravy, with a huge cinnamon roll or pie for dessert, you really can't beat Flo's!
This was my first visit to this location, and it immediately charmed me. I have a soft spot for mom-and-pop–style restaurants—they carry a warmth and familiarity that feels both comforting and nostalgic. My friend and I arrived just before the lunch crowd began to trickle in, leaving me pleasantly torn between a breakfast indulgence and a lunch classic. I ultimately chose the tuna sandwich, which delivered exactly what I was hoping for—simple, satisfying, and done right. Light enough to leave room for dessert, I happily finished the meal with a slice of their peach pie. It was the perfect ending to a truly enjoyable experience.
Flo's ia a Chino institution. Good food and good vibes. We've been dining there for as long as I remember. If you're in the area definitely give it a try. The biscuits and gravy are a thing of beauty. My Uncle is on a strict diet but I sneak him off to Flo's to make his golden years more exciting.
They have the best apple pie a la mode. Their portions are also generous and delicious. The wait staff are excellent and the food is always made with care. Also you can see the airplanes land save take off while you're eating and even drink a beer as well. I love eating at Flo's.
Had a wonderful S.O.S. breakfast at Flo's today Sunday and have to admit it was amazing, especially the service from the brother (Drink Server) sister (Waitress) team Great meal and Wonderful service Thank you to Flo's management for putting together such wonderful employees
Good old fashioned diner with excellent service and friendly people. Huge portions with a southern cooking type of menu. Their specials are great, and so are their pies. I've never had a bad meal here.
The food is always great there. The hash browns, the biscuits, the gravy, the eggs and the atmosphere is so amazing there each room is in different decoration and it is always busy in the morning. I love it! Their pies are awesome
Flo’s Cafe delivered exactly what a good breakfast spot should: comfort, consistency, and a welcoming atmosphere. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was relaxed and friendly, the kind of place where regulars are greeted by name and newcomers feel at home right away. I ordered breakfast, and it did not disappoint. The food came out hot, fresh, and clearly made with care. The eggs were cooked just right, the bacon was crisp without being overdone, and the potatoes were seasoned well and perfectly cooked. Portions were generous without being excessive, leaving me satisfied but not weighed down. Service was attentive and genuine, not rushed or scripted. My coffee cup never stayed empty for long, which always matters at breakfast. Prices felt fair for the quality and portion size, making it a solid value. Flo’s Cafe isn’t trying to be trendy or reinvent breakfast—it’s focused on doing the basics well, and that’s exactly why it works. If you’re looking for a dependable, no-nonsense breakfast with good food and warm service, Flo’s Cafe is worth the stop.
If you ever saw a roadside Diner on a TV show or movie and wanted that experience, this is your spot! Food is delicious and also the pies. Service is friendly, attentive, and helpful with any questions you have about the area or the menu. 10/10 will be back soon
This is an old school diner. Our breakfast was nothing fancy (biscuits and gravy, hash browns, eggs, toast), but shockingly outstanding. The regulars knew each other and us out-of-towners were treated as though we were a regular. I highly recommend Flo's for a good breakfast, hot cup of coffee and a friendly vib.
Comfort food at its best. Large Portions reasonably priced and very friendly service. Always crowded on weekends but plenty of open tables so the wait isn't very long. Its been open since 1947 Love Flos Airport Cafe
Hidden in the Chino Airport is a diner that serves American fare. Got the Country Fried Steak omelet. It was savory country fried steak chopped in pieces mixed with eggs and hash browns. The portions are gigantic. Order this if you can accept the challenge. Great decor loaded with classic Americana. If I lived in the area this would be my regular breakfast places.
Came here just for the pies and we definitely left happy customers. Loads of great pies on selection based on availability. The place definitely has a lot of character and will be fun to come dine in. We grabbed our slices of pie and dined out in the car. Everything was fantastic and not overly sweet. Just perfection.
My parents used to take us here in the 80s when we were kids. Fast forward.. Our son was home for the holidays on leave from Air Force. Picked him up from Ontario airport and drove to Chino airport (22 minutes) for Flo's. Everyone had a great experience food still just as good. Biscuits and gravy a must try.
Flo's Airport Cafe, established in 1947 at Chino Airport, is a classic diner with rich aviation history. The walls are filled with vintage photos and memorabilia, creating a nostalgic vibe. The food is hearty and delicious, with generous portions and fair prices. It's a must-visit for both history buffs and hungry travelers.
We heard that this place was out of the way in Chino Hills by the airport. Well everyone knows it’s here now and it’s was worth the 30 min wait. You won’t go hunger here! The chicken fried steak with biscuits and gravy are the real deal. The hash , eggs with biscuits and gravy with real homemade salsa was really tasty. Come here hungry!

Small business cafe. Hole in the wall place with memorabilia decorating the walls. Wide range of food options to choose from.
Food is good, workers are sweet and have good conversations. Will definitely be back.
This is the cafe to go to if your in the area. Situated next to Chino Air port this time capsule offers good old fashioned food. I love that they also give you your own pot of coffee to serve yourself when you run out. Food is decently priced (being around $15 per person). Definitely a great way to start your day. Right down the street is an air museum as well that I highly suggest to any airplane nerds
Really great place, if you are looking for a large breakfast plate. I had “Paul’s Platter” at $17, 3 eggs, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage, ham, and pancakes ! Wow, too much to eat at one sitting, but not complaining ! I liked this Chino Airport site because it’s different and that’s good. Recommended.
Place is a neutral ombiance older environment. Food is good price are fair but a little above average, service could have been much better. Not too bad overall.
Been coming here since I was a teenager volunteering at the Planes Of Fame air museum. If your from the Inland Empire you know Flos Cafe, there famous for large sized portions and hot coffee. You gotta try there biscuits and gravy or there French toast! Omg I could on and on but come down before 3:00pm and have some good grub.
This cafe is more of a diner, complete with advertisements on the tables, countertop dining (there are plenty of tables) and a small pie/dessert display case. My husband had the country-fried steak with over-easy eggs, hash browns and biscuits & gravy. I ordered a the veggie omelet, hash browns and biscuits & gravy. The portions were large. The food was really good and there wasn’t anything we didn’t like. The biscuits & gravy were the star of the show. We’re from TX and it’s hard to find decent pepper gravy but they nailed it. I ate some of the country-fried steak but we were too full to finish it. We bought a slice of millionaire pie and boysenberry pie for later. I’d suggest getting there before 9:00 if you don’t want to wait. Check out this little gem if you haven’t already!
Had the absolute pleasure of stopping by Flo's Airport Cafe in Chino, CA, and was taken back by the friendly atmosphere listening to stories of old pilots. And enjoying their biscuits and eggs with hashbrowns covered with homemade country style gravy. It is truly a thrilling experience.
Flo’s Cafe is a historic icon in the greater Chino area. It’s a favorite of locals. It serves the dairy farmers, the Aviation community of the airport, and folks who just like good home cooking good food. They have daily specials. To split pea soup is really exceptional. Stop by and give it a try. You’ll become a fan too.
Typical American cafe, really really nice and cozy. Try their CFS - chicken fried steak omelette with cheese gravy. It was absolutely incredible—crispy, flavorful steak wrapped in a somewhat of a fluffy omelette, totally smothered in rich, creamy cheese gravy. Easily one of the best I’ve had! Ordered squaw toast as side & coffee along with it. The only downside was the cleanliness of the chairs. They could use a more thorough wipe-down, as mine had a few crumbs and a slight stickiness. Otherwise, fantastic food and great service! Sincere thanks to Roxanne for her menu recommendation.

Good "comfort food" eats found here. I liked my food. I was not wowed. Everything was just "fine". Great service. bathroom too small to turn around easily between stall door and the toilet.
The burger was a little bit overdone but the fries were good. Oddly enough, the bottom of the bun was used for the top and the top of the bun was on the bottom (not that it matters, but it shows a certain lack of care). The restaurant had that diner feel to it which I liked. I felt like kind of an outsider when I was there but I’m not sure why.
My first time to this well-established well known restaurant that honors the American veteran. I had heard of Flo's for many years when my first wife's parents often visited. Being a pilot we thought we'd stop in at Chino airport and ask how to get to Flo's, wasn't too long a walk and definitely the experience was worth it. A true bit of Americana. I had a hamburger and it was outstanding obviously high quality meat and ingredients went into it. My friend from Switzerland had to try the biscuits and gravy and it was kind of funny because he finished the whole thing and then could hardly walk afterwards cuz he was so full. Lol. This sort of restaurant is very American. Staffers incredibly loving and friendly. It's a bit rundown and in need of an upgrade but perhaps that would ruin everything, so I say go there for the experience because places like these are becoming more rare.
This restaurant was allegedly founded in 1963 and still has that ambience. Food was OK but nothing that will encourage me to come back. No WOW to it. Prices are average for this type of restaurant. Average of 20 per person for breakfast. Service IS great. Service was fast and accurate. The ambiance was that of a small town dinner and they were busy but not as busy as I expected. They have a small counter were you can sit and they do have lots of tables that can accommodate large families or lots of friends. The majority of the customers are seniors and some middle age family's.
My friend and I were looking for a convenient place to meet halfway for a morning coffee and thought we'd try this interesting location. With the extensive construction along the main road, it was not the easiest to get to, but the construction signage helped. It felt like a place regulars know about and has a lot of history. It did smell like cigarette smoke as soon as you walked in, although I could not see anyone smoking. The first server who brought our coffee and tea was not particularly friendly or helpful. Our waitress Roxanne was helpful and warm and helped me easily find what I could enjoy from their menu. The portions were generous and our food was served quickly. I have many dietary restrictions due to health reasons so it is not always easy for me to meet for a meal with friends. Although there weren't many options available for me, I enjoyed the experience and lively atmosphere. My friend definitely enjoyed her cinnamon roll and took some pie to go.
I know everybody loves this place, and I'm not exactly sure why. I think it's because they've been around so long that people just have fond memories of it. Flo's usually has a very long wait to get in. There is no decent place to wait. You either stand in the hot hallway, or you stand outside in the heat, or you sit on the broken-down bench waiting for your name to be called. The food is barely okay. The place is completely run down and dirty. With the crowd they draw you would think they were giving the food away, but that's far from the truth. Their pricing isn't reasonable either. I'm sure I'm going to get a lot of hate coming my way because I didn't Rave about this place but honestly, there's nothing to Rave about. 90% of the time I give five star reviews so it's a rarity that I give a review like this.
I was told i could not be seated until my friend got there. There was a man sitting alone at a four seat table. He was waiting for friends who trickled in while i was standing waiting for my friend. I pointed this out and was asked by Roxanne to stand outside. She was rude, the food was so so. Will never go back.
The food here was not very good. The biscuits and gravy were not homemade and had very little meat in them. The service was decent and they gave us an entire carafe of coffee which was great. Honestly I am disappointed as this looked like it could have been a staple place for my family and I to go for breakfast but it was a little dirty.
Country fried steak was gamy. Couldn't tell what meat. Chewy. Biscuits drowned in AT best 7/10 gravy. Eggs were decent. Service ok. Restaurant looks like its from the 80s. Nothing to write home about.
I typically love hole in the wall diners, and I enjoy a simple diner meal cooked with affordable bulk foods. I've been enjoying diner foods for over 30 years. So when I say this place is disgusting, I'm not exaggerating. They are not even trying in the kitchen at all. We ate there on a Sunday, so I can't speak for whoever cooks the other days of the week, but I seriously doubt there's much difference. I got an omelette. It came with hash browns and a side of biscuits & gravy. I am well aware that Biscuits & Gravy is always a gamble at hole in the wall diners, but once in a while you find a gem, so I always give them a chance if they advertise their biscuits & gravy as a favorite item on their menu (which Flo's does). My first bite revealed just plain old bland canned white gravy slopped on top of sliced canned biscuits. No attempt to improve the canned gravy at all. I know this, because I've bought that gravy many times as a starter base for making things myself. You don't just leave it as-is, because it's tastes like canned snot barf with pepper. Next up is the omelette. The eggs tasted old and were cooked without enough oil in the pan, making them just taste metallic and burnt. I get that they're probably buying bulk quality food like most diners do, but you have to jazz eggs up with some butter and seasoning and cook them right. The sausage inside the omelette smelled and tasted like canned pate dog food. No exaggeration. I couldn't eat a second bite, and I was super hungry. It was disgusting. The hash browns were cooked very dry as well and had no seasoning at all, and were burnt, so they just tasted dry and metallic and bland and like gravel. I could not eat more than like 3 bites. I felt bad when the waitress asked me why I didn't like it, so I just said it's not for me, and didn't want to be rude. The staff are nice enough and it's a dive atmosphere, but even the coffee is just not good. I've had better coffee at gas stations in Needles. Edit: I forgot to mention that they tried to charge us for the full meal too. She took my plates away mid meal after I told her I couldn't eat it, but when she gave us the bill later on my meal was still on it. So, then we had to ask and wait for them to go talk to the manager, which was unnecessarily awkward. My wife felt bad sending her French toast back too, so she ate a few bites and pushed it around her plate some (it seemed like pre packaged - flabby and overly sweet too). So, all in all we paid around $30 for bad French toast that was barely eaten plus a tip (because it's not the wait staff's fault).

This review has been a long time coming. I waited to visit a second time before confirming that this place is not worth the weight of the drive my patience or the money. First of all the the hostes…
The food was cold. The atmosphere was very loud and the service was poor. This was our go to place in the past, but not anymore. The air was on so high we were freezing.
I have been coming here since the 70's and we have always had good food and good service. This time was the worst experience ever. The service was bad. My daughter didn't get her bacon. She had to ask more than once to get it. Then the hash browns were burnt. The server had an attitude. Over all it was a very bad experien😟
⸻ …I just called to ask if there was a long wait time because I have two small children. Roxanne, the manager, was so rude over the phone. She wouldn’t give me any information about the current wait time and told me, “You just have to come and find out.” Her tone was dismissive, and she came across as condescending and sarcastic in her responses. It was incredibly frustrating, especially since it was raining, and I really didn’t want to wait outside in the wet weather with my young kids. I’ve been a loyal customer of this restaurant for years, and I’ve always supported their small business. As a member of this community, I expected much more respect, especially over the phone. The way Roxanne treated me was unprofessional and really disappointing. I would have appreciated just a little courtesy and understanding. I’m not sure I’ll be returning after this experience.
