Excellent facility for cross-country skiing enthusiasts. Trained staff and excellent instructors, like Ms. Alessia, who supervised my daughters, who were new to the sport. There's also a bar/restaurant where you can eat well at a reasonable price.

Impianto e piste bellissime, l’unica gran pecca è che da Certosa al Pian delle Gorre la pista è unica e condivisa con i camminiatori, che occupano l’intera pista in gruppi, calpestano i binari ecc…insomma la solita ignoranza. Peccato perché pagando il biglietto per usufruire a pieno delle piste ci si aspetterebbe un altro servizio. Ci si ritorna ma non sicuramente di domenica!

I went there during the week with my partner for lunch. The location is certainly charming, a small cabin parallel to the road, nestled in the beautiful Pesio Valley, a few kilometers from the Certosa di Pesio. Returning to the restaurant, it is minimal with about 6-7 tables, very intimate, and the manager is young and very kind. We had two plates of bresaola and arugula (beautifully presented on the plate, a beautiful red color), gnocchi with meat sauce, very compact and full-bodied, a bottle of Erbaluce di Caluso, two (½) bottles, one sparkling and one still, two coffees for €38. I think it's a fair price. The restaurant has two splendid windows that face south southwest, favoring a view of the mountains. The autumn sunset is suggestive, with the restaurant having a stove and the right atmosphere.

Personally, I always find the San Bartolomeo trails fun, in a fantastic and stimulating environment. It's a shame about some rude pedestrians and snowshoers who insist on walking in the middle of the trail (it would be enough to walk single file along the edge of the trail). And I'm not talking about the hiking section between the village of Ardua and Pian delle Gorre, but the lower section, above the Certosa (where the trail is supposedly reserved for cross-country skiers, at least according to the signs).

First experience ever on a cross-country ski trail, with my wife, much, much more complex and intricate than expected, especially the downhill, and now I'm dealing with a large femoral hematoma and myalgia all over despite being quite well trained in the mountains😅... But we absolutely have to send a huge thank you to Fabrizio Faggio, who guided us through the lesson with great professionalism, efficiency, and dedication, taking care of every detail... you were great, thank you so much...

Centro e panorama bellissimo, peccato le difficoltà sulle piste condivise con i camminatori rendano l'esperienza meno piacevole per chi paga il biglietto per una sciata domenicale. Su gran parte delle piste condivise colonne di gente a piedi, con i cani, con le ciaspole: tutti in mezzo alla pista, altri a pestare i binari, fermi a chiacchierare sulla pista in gruppi, alla deriva...mi chiedo: perchè pagare un biglietto se poi nessuno fa rispettare le regole di base e chi ha pagato non riesce (perchè davvero in molti tratti non si riusciva) a usufruire del servizio? Perchè tornare? Sarebbe un posto stupendo, peccato per la solita noncuranza all'italiana.

Double rating: - Winter with open slopes: 4 ⭐️ ideal place for a day of cross-country skiing without the need to be a mega expert. - Summer: 2⭐️ Like all ski resorts, in summer it survives on impromptu initiatives from the bar and a few volunteers.

Poor management! The trails are often poorly groomed, there's no clear signage, and access to the parking lot is poorly organized (see photo). I try every year, but I'm always disappointed. It's a shame, the place is beautiful and has potential for development, like many places in the Cuneo area. But the management isn't up to par.

We found ourselves eating at this bar, which had a special agreement with the Pesio Valley fishing vouchers for two. The waitress verbally listed the menu for us, and we opted for a plate of tomato gnocchi for the first course, followed by French fries and Milanese for the second course, all accompanied by 1.5 liters of house wine and mineral water. To finish, a gelato cup and caffè corretto (a type of espresso). The table was set with a paper placemat, etc. The food was probably frozen; not bad, but not good either. The bill was truly surprising: €22 per person, minus the €5 discount. €27 for a business lunch seems really expensive, an experience not to be repeated!
