The roll tacos were phenomenal but you may have to add some salt per crunch because the flavor isn’t overwhelming. Also they put way too many peas in the rice for my taste hence minus the one star. Very limited outdoor seating.

Excellent taco shop in Chula Vista. It’s off the beaten path but worth it. I had regular crunchy tacos and they were delicious! My wife had the rolled tacos and they were also very good. Good beans and rice as well. Very good service. I would go back. Cash only, they have an ATM.

I’ve been coming here for 40 years! I can really only attest to their “special 5 roll tacos with guacamole, sour cream, cheese.” It’s the only thing I order and they are definitely my go-to rolled tacos in Chula Vista. They still taste the same after all these years, even the salsa (one per rolled taco is a must). You have to eat them immediately; the guacamole will go brown within the hour. I never carry cash, but I have a hidden stash of cash in my car whenever I’m in the mood for LT’s.

First time going here a few weeks ago I thought it was going to be my new California burrito spot. It was great the first time but the couple of times I've been super disappointed in the quality. Meat taste weird and doesn't even look like carne asada.

There is a reason why this place has been around for more than 40 years. Food is very good and their rolled tacos are one of the best. However, they just increased their prices on some of their items more than 40%. And they don’t even accept cards, just cash. I don’t understand their reasoning for such a drastic increase all of a sudden. I know things are more expensive, but I can’t justify spending 40% more. Well, I guess this will become a less frequently visited taco shop. Only on special occasions, lol.

This place is loosing its quality. Been round for years but mainly known for its roll tacos, that’s about it. Been coming here since I was a kid - so has my family. I’ll probably stop coming here tbh The manager is pretty rude and dismissive. The burritos are all about 15 and it’s cash only. For the quality and hassle, I would probably go around the corner. Applebees has complete meals for $10 - their neighbor Los Panchos has combo plates for $12

Best rolled tacos I've tried but they just raised their prices from 8.99 for 5 rolled tacos ( which I already thought was expensive) to like 3 or 4 more dollars. They may as well include a drink for that price.

The Adobada burrito I got was very greasy so greasy in fact that after the fourth bite it started to break because of the super thin tortillas I understand the budget but come on at least use less grease.

I read reviews about carne asada fries being good, and I was disappointed. They’re served in a plate and covered with foil paper, unlike other places where they’re in a box. I ordered 5 roll tacos and the fries and it was about $20. Be prepared with cash, but they do have ATM machine.

I asked what they put in the California burrito. They told me meat, cheese and fries asked for sour cream and well done french fries extra crispy when I got my burrito they put guacamole and my french fries were like mush and I felt like the meat was the grizzly bits of it didn't have any flavor or salt. Green sauce and red sauce. Very tasty. Maybe the cook was new or something but I won't be eating here ever again.

I hadn’t been here in a couple of years, and while the food was good in the past, my recent visit was disappointing. I had the breakfast burrito and it was the worst I’ve had—it was 98% potatoes, 1.5% eggs and 0.5% meat. What a letdown.

I ordered Carne Asada fries (14.99 plus tax) 16oz drink (2.99) and a flour tortilla (1.39).I give this a 1 star because the price is not equal to the quality and quantity of food.They use the cheapest quality of fries and they don't even add the salt,they give you packs of salt .The 16oz . is crazy for 2.99 no not a 32oz.If you want a soda can it cost 1.99.The flour tortilla was cooked good ,it was burrito size.The picture only shows my left over,just wanted to show the fries that are under cooked and low quality. Also they don't do a equal portion of meat, order this if you like potatoes,they are not a good taco shop to eat at.

Used to be the Best, just about 30 minutes ago I bought the 5 rolled taco special with lettuce and got these rolled tacos that are stuck together and look like they been sitting there for a while, the guac is turning black and brown already. Very disappointed, grew up in the river bottom eating here all the time and now the food is no good.
