This is the place if you want a very good sandwich and soup better than Subway and Togo's and Panera., Bread is real sour dough, and if you want extra, you can have it without extra .Charge the soup is so much better chicken poblano and calm chowder will be back this week for another round I had Pastrami ,Turkey.

Love this places. In my opinion it’s one of the best sandwich places in Sacramento area. Soups here are pretty good as well especially claim chowder.

I got the tuna salad sandwich on sliced wheat bread and it was huge! And so good. I went here with my boyfriend and we were in and out with our 3 sandwiches to go really quick, but we got there right before a rush. Employees were friendly and fast. The parking lot is kind of weird though, but it's not that big of a deal. Definitely coming back!

The sandwiches were delicious. The bread and veggies were fresh, the meat had good flavor not like some plain tasting generic brands. The staff was friendly. I will definitely go back again.

Pretty clean sandwich shop. Arrived at 1040 am and the door was still locked. But the friendly staff and fresh bread and fresh produce made the wait worth it. Ordered the Italian with only yellow mustard and lettuce. It was very good. The guy who took our order just needs to be trained a little better. He doesn’t listen to what you want. Told him lettuce and yellow mustard only 4 times. Over all a good experience.

Super tasty sandwiches and their bread is INCREDIBLE. 4 stars because for some reason when you order the southwest chicken salad on DoorDash it requires you to show ID???? I’m assuming someone on the back end pressed the wrong button?

Great food, atmosphere is a bit dark though. Dark paint in walls, lack of decent lighting make it feel more like a dive bar than a sandwich place. Service? Decent.

The sandwich was good as always. I ordered the #13. Garlic Pesto Turkey. The cashier who may be the owner is not very friendly. I was trying to leave a tip but she grabbed my slip before I could add the tip.

I hadn't really given myself a chance--until I ordered at this location--to really sit down and try Sourdough & Co.'s food. I got a meal with everything: a 6" sandwich, soup, cookies, and a drink. Upon walking in, I was welcomed immediately and assisted with my pickup order. The staff were friendly and overall the service was good. The shop was clean and orderly, and generally has the same rustic charm as other Sourdough & Co.'s I've walked into. The sandwich itself was good, the bread and meat were great and the veggies were fresh, but it was oversauced. So the sauce just kinda ended up overtaking the sandwich. I didn't eat the soup until later, but it wasn't worth 7 dollars for the small cup I got with my sandwich. I ordered two cookies and got one chocolate chip cookie and one of their lemon cooler cookies. I've had their lemon cooler before, and it was really good. But the chocolate chip cookie I had was underbaked and dough-y in the middle. I hope that that was a one-time thing, because I really wanted to like it (since it's a chocolate chip cookie). Overall, with the cookies included, I spent about $28 on my meal. I definitely could have gotten better food--and more of it--elsewhere for $28. Disclaimer: I tried to keep my review fair, as my criticisms are mostly of the value you get for the price of the food, rather than of this particular location. The staff here were lovely and the store was well-kept.

It had good sandwiches and okay ones. Meat quantity can be really slim. Bread is always soft and fresh tasting. The inconsistency is annoying. The prices are consistent though. Priced for the best service and product so it's a bummer I can't afford for them to keep disappointing me. Won't be tricked again to cause shame upon myself.

Came here to get a sandwich and salad with my girls before heading to the lake. Never been here before and wanted to try something other than subway and sandwich spot. My daughters ordered the Italian salad and a southwest salad. The italian salad was ok. Nothing special and certainly not worth 10.00. My other daughter liked the southwest salad. She thought it was very good. They give you a piece of hot sourdough with the salad. I ordered a 6 inch pastrami and swiss toasted. The guy making the sandwich was not happy. He seemed mad that I wanted my bread extra crispy. The bread was very good. Pastrami is pastrami. But he put so much mustard on the sandwich...it was over bearing. Subway is better than this ...and quiznos is way better... I have no desire to come back here again. For the sandwich at 8.00...and the small salad at 10 bucks...there are far better places to eat with much better flavor.

I expect that for seven dollars when I bite into my sandwich it doesn’t all fall out of the back. It didn’t taste that great and the fact that I had to get both of my hands so full of sandwich condiments to even eat it was annoying. Jimmy John’s is right across the street that’s a better bet for your money.

First and last time there. Just paid over 12.00 bucks for this "sandwich" on wheat for the kid! Entire order was like 50.00. They up charged for pickles. Total Rip off. This was a delivery. Can't comment on service or atmosphere. I can say the place is ALWAYS empty when we pass for the busier place next door (you know). My bad for thinking this was the new Sourdough place that's not open yet. What a total rip off and a joke. Sad to see what's happening in CA with business and restaurants. This one will be on the finical news soon I'm sure. Just a matter of time.

This is what I overpaid for (ordered on DoorDash). That’s a large Cobb salad folks, with 2 halved, miniature cherry tomatoes and 3 slices of avocado. I would say I guess they’re helping me count my calories, but they went ahead and generously sent 2 cups of dressing, which would clearly over dress this “large” salad. I can’t imagine what a small would look like, but I’m supposing it would include one miniature cherry tomato and 1.5 slices of avocado. It honestly looks like someone made the large salad I ordered,,” divvied it up and sent me the sadder looking half. I’ll be sure to order somewhere else next time.

I called the store to explain about our order and for some reason, the lady on the phone didn’t really understand what I was trying to tell her I ordered two turkey sandwiches and one with no tomato lettuce and we ordered it through GrubHub and we order all the time and it just came plain all turkey and a bread no amenities at all and the lady on the phone she just didn’t have no clue in the world. I just don’t understand why would people wanna work in this establishment and not care about their clients so I’m given one star because of rudeness and one star because not even apologetic about our sandwich

2nd visit to thia Sourdough & Co. The menu is so-so. The prices are kinda high. Could be Great, but they just don't have good combinations for their sandwiches. The 1st time I ordered mac n cheese along with sandwiches for my office. I checked the bags before I left and found they forgot to pack my mac n cheese. 2nd visit...someone else picked up. Ordered mac n cheese again. The mac costs $8. The cups are small. It was all I had for lunch. Check the pic... the $8 cup was a little more than half filled!

I noticed that they have a Peet's Coffee shop inside, well Peet's should pull the franchise from them. It was the worst Mocha Frappe I have ever had, tasted nothing like a Peet's Mocha whatsoever!
