Back Yard Burgers Ciudad De México Reviews
This was a cool little backyard spot in Condesa. It has a small food menu but was pretty good. The coffee is also good. I would come back.
Love breakfast and brunch food. As I done my Google search for a breakfast/brunch spot in food The Backyard. The restaurant is spacious with indoor and outdoor seating. Place is clean and tidy. The staff was so friendly and attentive. We ordered the Pancakes, French Toast, Egg with beef strips. Drinks latte and spiked lemonade. The pancakes were fluffy and moist. The fruits were sweet and fresh. The French Toast were delicious. Spike lemonade was strong and referesting. Great place to bring family, friends and a date. Price are reasonable. Definitely recommend this place.
Very friendly! Very accommodating! Wonderful atmosphere! This is a great place to get a bite, have a drink, chat with friends. Cool, jazzy music playing in the background, but not so loud at to impede conversation.
Great food! The pancakes were delicious and the fresh orange juice was so yummy. Loved the vibe as well. Would come back!
I felt this was a great simple menu. Too many options can overwhelm you and the cook. This menu is perfect for the chefs to perfect their craft. I'm not a coffee drinker but my hot chocolate was good. My friends were amazed by the good flavor of their coffee. All of us enjoyed our meals except my friend who ordered the pancakes. She mentioned they didn't stand out to her much. Overall, I'd come back. We were in the backyard area, which was nice and cozy for our large group
First of all, one of the best service and amazing staff! Extra care and very polite, professional, and helpful staff, every single one. The coffee is definitely top notch and made just right. Breakfast is delicious, made perfectly and very fresh ingredients. Great prices, lots of seating inside and out. And a nice quiet neighborhood.
Delicious egg sandwich. The ambiance is real mellow, lots of American nomads, so Spanish and English is spoken here. The breakfast is easily one of the best and comes with seasonal fruit as well. The staff was attentive and polite. Definitely on the pricey side but a delicious meal to be sure.
Landed here by accident and had some loaded nachos and their french dip sandwich, which was one of the best i have ever had. The sauce was simply amazing and there was a lot of meat on that sandwich,…

Tiny little coffee and eatery in Roma Norte. We were lucky to find street parking. Be aware you must pay at the Parquímetro. Thankfully the waiter warned us about it and we paid right before the officer got to our car. $5 MXN pesos get you 30 minutes. The place is cozy and they have a back patio nicely decorated. We ordered coffee and sodas. A cheeseburger, plain. Ramen and Pepperoni Pizza. For dessert we got a Brownie. Everything was delicious except our burger wasn’t plain. Even when our waiter asked twice the burger came with sauce and tomatoes. We kept it but it’s hard to wipe out the sauce once it’s absorbed by the bread. It started pouring so we moved away from the front area. Definitely coming back if we’re around the area.
Cute cafe, perfect little brunch spot in a quiet and picturesque neighborhood. Really kind and helpful staff. Small food menu but decent selections. I got the pancakes and found the portion size to be enough to share with 2 people. Taste and quality was good. Complimentary orange juice and cantaloupe. I was disappointed by the coffee though. Bitter and the almond milk wasn’t good.
This restaurant was recommended by our apartment host and it was a really good option after a long day walking around Mexico City. The beer was cold and the food was excellent. We did think that …

Good service, decent yet average pancakes, but a bit on the pricier side. This American-style breakfast spot offers all the classics. I was greeted and seated outside by the sidewalk. I ordered pancakes but skipped the drinks since all breakfast items come with a side of fruit and orange juice. The orange juice tasted fresh, but the melon and papaya didn’t have that same freshness. The pancakes arrived a bit later—four smaller, fluffy pancakes garnished with berries. They were decent, not overly sweet, which I appreciated, but nothing out of the ordinary. Despite their size, I got full after three, so they’re a bit deceiving in that regard. However, for $165, they’re on the pricier side, though the included juice and fruit somewhat justify it. Service started off well but then slowed down considerably when it came time to get the bill. They also offer a wide variety of beverages, both alcoholic and caffeinated drinks. While the pancakes looked appetizing, they weren’t particularly special.
i’ve visited twice, first for the brisket (nothing to write home about) and second for the cheeseburger, which was also disappointing. They have draft beer but at 120 which is almost us$7 so yes, nyc price, even at an upscale brewery in roma you find for 85 or 95. My low review is not really on the food as I would say it delivers. Or the service which is basic. What is really bad about this place is that their POS terminals don’t work with Apple Pay. They ask for a plastic card, which I don’t carry, it’s 2025. Luckily, both times I was carrying cash, because it’s mexico so cash is always necessary. But the apple pay thing is just bad management, every other place in the city works with this. I honestly forgot about this detail the second time I visited and was surprised of the thing happening again, I have been visiting cdmx for 3 years and everywhere takes apple pay. Not going again.
