Delicioso restaurante en Condesa, no tiene mucha publicidad al exterior, es una casa que mantiene la arquitectura de los años sesenta, y las mesas están situadas en un bello patio interior. Todo lo que pedimos estuvo muy bueno, el servicio fue inmejorable. Es difícil de conseguir reservación. El lugar está bonito, los drinks están ok pero tampoco diría que son los mejores que he probado (el que me llevaron llego todo escurrido). Pedimos de entrada una ensalada de jitomates y un carpaccio de atún con tomate, siento que la porción esta muy bien y estaba muy rico, si lo recomiendo como entrada. La ensalada también estaba deli y con el pan que llevan se va muy bien. Ese día probamos el parppadele en ragú de res (no le tome foto 😪), esta rico para probar algo diferente pero no se me hizo de que wow súper regresaría por ese platillo o de que es un must venir aquí, estaba regular. Para ir y conocer, vivir la experiencia de ir al lugar diferente y comer bien, recomiendo pero solo como de 1 vez. La atención de los meseros buena.

You can see the inside of the kitchen from any seat, which is very clean. But I felt like being in 'food, pray and love' in here, the pasta is so good that I can't stop thinking about it. A stunning restaurant, to say the least. The environment felt like an oasis surrounded by nature. The food was incredibly delicious. We were a party of six, so the assortment of dishes and cocktails kept flowing, and every plate reflected real care and passion in its preparation. No one left disappointed. The entire staff was warm and attentive, and it was clear the restaurant is run seamlessly. I highly recommend visiting during the day or at night to experience the serenity while enjoying the incredible cuisine Botanico has to offer.

The styling of the restaurant is amazing. It’s outside but is totally encased in vegetation. They have fish pond with coo plus axolotyl. Such a nice place. Food and service exceptional. It’s not cheap but it is well worth it. Good local wine selection. Creative renditions of dishes. We did not have reservation and were walkins (7 of us).

Loved our dinner at Botánico! We sat outside surrounded by giant cacti — such a cool, relaxed vibe. The tuna carpaccio was super fresh, lamb pappardelle was delicious and fried calamari was delicious. We also tried the tamarind and passionfruit cocktails and they were amazing. Great food, great ambience — highly recommend!

We stopped by for lunch, place is very unassuming from outside. But once you step into the courtyard, you’re greeted with an absolutely gorgeous space. It’s airy and filled with beautiful plants adorning every corner. We indulged in a variety of dishes, including caesar salad, fresh ceviche, coconut muscles, heirloom gazpacho, ribeye sandwich, and sea bass in a creamy green peas sauce. Each dish was absolutely scrumptious. The sandwich and heirloom tomato were particularly delicious. The sea bass was cooked perfectly, but the sauce could have used a bit more flavor. The service was warm and attentive, with Maya taking wonderful care of us throughout our meal. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning.

Loved the central garden where the ajolotes are, it’s just amazing. About the food I think my favorite dishes were the tuna tostadas and the beef milanesa, the rest of them were ok but nothing that took our breath away. The drinks were good too. I went with a party of 10 more people and the table was not so comfortable for us, the chairs were a bit stiff honestly and (we all agreed on that). We divided the check equally and for having dinner and drinks we ended up paying like $1000 pesos each, which I think is more than fair in cdmx.

My friends and I ended up here spontaneously after our original reservation fell through! After seeing the rave reviews and the Michelin star, we knew we had to give it a try. This place is absolutely incredible. The seating is entirely outdoors but covered, so you stay dry even if it rains. If you get chilly, they provide cozy fresh blankets. The food and drinks were outstanding! For larger groups, I recommend ordering different dishes so everyone can sample the diverse menu options.

Delicious, creative, and executed perfectly. Every dish serves its own purpose on your palette. Besides the amazingly lush gardens that surrounds you, the staff here are professional and the service is impeccable. Get the heirloom tomatoes, the smokey clamato jus combined with the fresh ingredients has cemented it as one of the best tomato dishes i’ve ever tasted. Get the tuna and kanpachi tostadas as well, they’ll make you roll and eyes and shut up till you finish them. Big thanks to the staff here for making the entire experience perfect. The first visit blew me away so much that I had to come back 2 days later lol. Best meal I had in CDMX. Period.

This place has that classic Mediterranean vibe we all love. The fried calamari was my absolute favorite; super fresh, crispy, and just the right amount of tenderness. The drinks were really tasty and refreshing, too! The staff were so friendly, and when they found out we were Arab, they sweetly brought us some labaneh, which was such a nice surprise! Me gustaría hacer una sugerencia con respecto al cobro del agua natural. Al llegar, me ofrecieron "agua mineral o natural", y asumí que la mineral tendría un costo, pero no imaginé que también se cobrara la natural, especialmente considerando que era más cara que la mineral. Sería ideal que se informara con claridad que ambas tienen costo, o mejor aún, que el agua natural se ofreciera de cortesía. Fuera de eso, la comida estuvo deliciosa y la atención fue muy buena y rápida. ¡Gracias!

El menú es variado, desde mediterraneo hasta pollo rostizado. La coctelería es muy basta. En general es rico, pero nada especial por lo cual quiera volver. Las mesas están muy pegadas entre sí por lo que no hay tanta privacidad para una plática. El servicio es excelente.

Botánico es un lugar hermoso, con una decoración que enfatiza la flora tradicionalmente asociada con la mexicanidad. El estanque de carpas y ajolotes es precioso, fui de noche y la iluminación sub acuática lo hacen resaltar. La comida es rica, comimos coliflor a las brasas, bien con una salsa rica de piñones. Camarones a las brazas con chile, muy sabrosos y las tostadas de atún, buenas también. El postre y los tragos decepcionan un poco, la créme brulee con aceituna kalamata, muy pequeña porcion, y la aceituna no aporta mucho. Pedí un gin Martin Miller con fresa y pimienta negra (perfect serve), pero no había fresas y me lo llevaron de frambuesa y pimienta molida, no entera, rico, pero decepcionante. El servicio, amable pero desatento, es necesario levantar varías meses la mano para que te vean. La calidad acorde al precio, excepto en el postre.

Es la tercera vez que los visito y mi plato favorito es la hamburguesa, iconica, jugosa, sabor perfecto, te cuidan de las alergias y el servicio es siempre detallado, te recuerdan y los meseros buscan ser amables en todo momento. Volveré cada vez que pueda para presumir el lugar con algún amigo o familiar que no lo haya visitado. El único “pero” del lugar es un poco ruidoso en la zona que tiene el techo de vidrio, pero se puede conversar.

El restaurante es muy bonito. Se requiere reservación. El personal en general muuuy amable y atentos. El mesero me comento que como van muchos extranjeros la comida no pica 😅 probé las tostadas de atún, ricas y frescas. Los calamares fritos, la salsa muy buena. El pappardelle con cordero, que no me encantó y el sandwich de costilla, que esta delicioso. Los platillos son grandes, así que puedes compartir. Los fines de semana por la noche puedes subir a la terraza y hay dj en vivo.

Quizás la mejor comida que he tenido en CDMX en 2025. Desde que entras te transportas a un lugar encantador, la decoración con cactus y distintos tipos de plantas es preciosa, su pequeño estanque con ajolotes le da un toque muy auténtico y el ambiente es excelente. Pasando a lo principal, la comida. Arrancamos con un kampachi con poro frito y ajo negro delicioso, muchísimo sabor y el ajo negro le da un toque muy único. La ensalada de tomate es de buena calidad pero no nos voló la cabeza. Desde que le das el primer mordisco a la hamburguesa notas la calidad de los ingredientes, el pan es bueno, la carne es buena y bien cocida, pero no tiene mucho sabor. Eventualmente me olvidaré Los ostiones flameados similar, y me parecieron muy pequeños. Los top 3 sin duda fueron los caramelitos, el sándwich de costilla braceada con queso Monterrey, y la milanesa. ¡Wow! Y la milanesa sigue siendo una milanesa, pero la Dijon natural, el glace de hierbas y miel y la arúgula me dieron una de las milanesas que más he disfrutado. Para los otros 2 solo puedo decir una cosa: IMPERDIBLE. Los postres: El pay de calabaza con tacha prometía muchísimo, pero ni me supo a calabaza, después de un par de días de mi visita no sabría decir a qué sabía, estaba rico pero no vale la pena. El cheesecake de queso brie es excelente, el toque salado y más grasoso que le da el queso lo destaca de los demás, y la compota de blueberry lo complementa de maravilla. Pero el pan francés con helado de maple y tocino nos enamoró a todos. Sigue siendo pan francés, pero está súper bien logrado. El servicio no solo es amable y atento, es carismático, todas las recomendaciones de un auténtico tigre. El reconocimiento que tiene este lugar es por algo (Tristemente no tengo fotos de todo y que fue compartido y ya estaba mordisqueado) 9.1/10

Por fuera no se ve pero es una casa increíble con cocina abierta y un jardín interior divino. Los meseros al inicio estaban sobre nosotros, se llevaron nuestro pan cuando aún nos quedaba más de la mitad y se llevaban nuestros vasos con líquido aún. Sobre ese mismo tema, las bebidas con exceso de hielo para darte menos bebida. La mayoría de la comida me pareció bien simplemente, si acaso el tiradito y los mejillones. Caro, por cierto. 3.7 :p

El lugar es bonito , si eres friolento en invierno lleva con que cubrirte. Festejamos un cumpleaños, cuando hice la reserva preguntaron el nombre del festejado pensé que harían algo para él pero ni lo mencionaron. Los platos son deliciosos . De entrada pedimos varias , aguachile de camarón, caramelos (pasta) . Tostadas de atún , todos muy ricos , platos fuertes el pulpo gran sabor !! y totoaba un plato ligero de buen sabor , ensalada César a mi gusto le falta más aderezo . De postre cheesecake (fuerte de sabor) pay de calabaza delicioso!!! Bebidas clericot vino tinto y algunos cócteles . El precio es elevado y porciones pequeñas pero el sabor lo vale!! El servicio poco atento, el mesero con cara de molestia todo el tiempo . Es lo único que no nos gustó .

Me sentaron en la barra argumentando que no había mesas disponibles para walk-ins. Le pedí a la hostess que si había alguna cancelación, me apoyara con una mesa para 2 personas. Totalmente cerrada y sin criterio, pase el resto de la noche en la barra donde tuve que pedir mis alimentos. Y jamás se lleno el lugar, había mesas disponibles. Contraten personal con mejor criterio. Fuera de eso, todo bien, en la barra nos atendió muy bien el chico.

There are so many Michelin restaurants in Mexico City, and this is one that we decided for the three of us to try. I will say that we had a very pleasant experience and that our waitress was attentive, even if there was a single miscommunication in one of the orders, but that can happen anywhere. The dishes were all beautifully served, the patio is a lush and beautiful open space and the food was very good. That being said none of the dishes stood out as something that I will truly remember or talk about afterwards and yet everything was very tasty so I cannot give this a five star rating. La experiencia en botánica fue regular, el ambiente es muy ruidoso, como restaurante de cadena lo imaginaba más tranquilo. El servicio es regular meseros serios, poco amables, nada atentos a la mesa, los escuchaba hablando detrás de la mesa. La comida regular es una lástima por que tenía las expectativas muy altas. Empezamos con la ensalada verde, sabía amarga, no nos gustó. Seguimos con los calamares fritos, fue lo mejor de la noche, muy buenos. De platos fuertes probamos el sandwich de costilla, ¡pésimo! El pan sabía tanto grasa que no notamos el sabor de la costilla, dejamos la mitad. Pappardelle, estaba bueno pero sin ser espectacular. No probamos postres después de los primeros platos. La coctelería estuvo decente. En general es un lugar bonito pero por el servicio y la comida no regresaría.

I visited Botánico in La Condesa. When we arrived, they offered us a very small table directly under the sun, so we asked to be moved. The second table was even more cramped, and the staff didn’t seem to care about our discomfort. The menu is quite limited, with only a few dishes and around six main courses, all of them overpriced for the quality they provide. It’s clearly a place designed for tourists; the décor is nice, but nothing remarkable. There are far better options in Mexico City. Whenever you walk into a place and notice it’s full of tourists, it usually means the food isn’t great and the prices are high. My advice is to look for restaurants filled with locals—that’s where you’ll find real Mexican cuisine. Don’t be fooled by places that rely solely on appearances. Visité el restaurante Botánico en la Condesa. Al llegar, nos ofrecieron una mesa muy pequeña y completamente bajo el sol, por lo que pedimos cambiarnos de lugar. La nueva mesa estaba aún más apretada y, aun así, a los meseros no pareció importarles nuestra incomodidad. La carta es limitada: tiene muy pocos platillos y apenas seis platos fuertes, todos con precios elevados para la calidad que ofrecen. Es un lugar enfocado principalmente en turistas; el diseño es bonito, pero nada excepcional. En la Ciudad de México hay opciones mucho mejores. Cuando llegas a un sitio y ves que está lleno de turistas, normalmente es una señal de que la comida no es tan buena y los precios son altos. Mi recomendación es buscar restaurantes concurridos por gente local: ahí es donde realmente se encuentra la auténtica cocina mexicana. No se dejen engañar por lugares que viven solo de la apariencia.

Pésima experiencia. El servicio fue realmente espantoso. El mesero fue grosero desde el inicio, nos presionaba para pedir y después prácticamente desapareció. Nunca nos ofreció más bebidas ni alimentos fuera de las entradas, y durante toda la noche nos ignoraron por completo mientras atendían con toda la atención a los extranjeros. Es una lástima, porque el lugar es agradable y tiene potencial, pero con meseros así se te quitan por completo las ganas de regresar. Si pudiera poner 0 estrellas, lo haría sin dudarlo.

Hoy fuimos con mi familia a Botánico. El lugar es muy bonito y la comida es buena. Lamentablemente, algunos meseros estaban cerca de nuestra mesa y se escuchaba cómo se quejaban de los comensales. Incluso se molestaban por lo que pedíamos, lo cual fue muy incómodo. La verdad el trato fue pésimo y nos hizo sentir muy raros. Es una lástima que un lugar tan lindo tenga este tipo de servicio.

I think before you decide to come here, you should read the lowest reviews. It’s a pretty big indicator that there is a service problem when no one responds to the people who had bad experiences here. We are working our way through the Michelin recommendations here and this one should be taken off the list, in my opinion. There is a lack of customer service here that should accompany any Michelin restaurant. The front of house management is off. Our waiter was a creepy man with bad breath who never spoke to us in Spanish in spite of us speaking to him in Spanish. If I am in a Spanish speaking country and I speak to you in Spanish, you should ask me if that is my preferred language. There were constantly waiters lurking around our table, hanging out and talking to each other with their butts turned to our face level. We asked to move because it was so uncomfortable to have them all around us, doing nothing. Our table was in a bad location right in a traffic path, yet there were empty good tables all around us. Then there were 4 people sitting at a table for 10 and 5 people sitting at a table for 8. It was an odd vibe everywhere. There were tourists there in shorts and leggings, several tables full of poorly dressed people, like they had just come from the gym. A dress code would be nice. The old fashioned cocktail that my husband ordered was made incorrectly with sparkling water. The food was ok but nothing special. We ordered the caramelizad onion pasta which was the best thing we ate there, but they brought it with the fried calamari, and I would never serve those two dishes together. They both have sticky, sweet, brown sauce on them, and it ended up tasting like too much sugar all together. The risotto was too thick and gloopy with a sharp cheese flavor, the octopus was burnt and crunchy instead of being thick and tender and juicy, and the flavor of the side of squash puree was too sweet, like baby food. We honestly could not get out of there fast enough. I think they need to care about the customer experience more and get more attuned staff.
