Cantonese Restaurant Ciudad De México Reviews
Better than any Chinese take out spot I've been to in the US.
Great takeout!! Delicious and large portions! Will definitely visit again next time we are in town.
Cheap, solid takeaway Chinese with friendly service. This spot on a busy corner in the Cuauhtémoc neighborhood was bustling with customers waiting for their orders outside. Since it’s a takeaway-only place, you place your order at the counter and wait while they prepare your food. I was just in the mood for a snack, so I ordered half a liter of fried rice with chicken, which was very reasonably priced at $80. The wait took a bit, but the service was friendly. The fried rice itself had great flavor. One thing to note is that this place is cash only, despite a sign right below saying “welcome all credit cards.” Despite that, this Chinese takeaway spot offers solid rice, and I’ll definitely return to try more dishes.
Go here. Genuinely great Chinese food. They use fresh veg even in the fried rice. Bring cash
This was a total surprise for me. I saw this place recommended on TikTok and, since it's so close to my workplace, I knew I had to try it. I has a beef and broccoli (very well served), fried rice with shrimp (excellent) and the most delicious spring rolls I have ever tasted. Even better, the price-quality ratio could not be better. I paid less for all the aforementioned food than what I would pay simply for the rice in any of the nearby sushi places. The only downside is that the place is cash only. The rest is wonderful.
Awesome quick takeout for a great price (very large portions)
Big and very good portions
V good
Super super rico
Best Chinese in Mexico city. Really good quality, real Chinese food.
I love this restaurant’s shrimp fried rice. Simply good. It can be a little difficult to communicate but the lady who takes your order actually speaks pretty good Spanish so just be patient and enjoy your meal.
Good food, fresh ingredients. Good option for small groups.
Great food, order in a set for 1-4 people. Very authentic, affordable and friendly. Not the most impressive ambience but the food is tasty.
Food's great and their servings are even better. Dishes are good for 3 pax. We ordered the Combinacion Pon Hing which had Broccoli, Cauli, Squid, Pork, Chicken, and Mushrooms. And we also ordered Chau Fan con chorizo chino (legit!). Those 2 dishes were good for 3 pax but we finished them anyway! Will definitely go back here!
Tasty, fresh Chinese food. Try the spring rolls and prawn rice.
A very authentic little Cantonese place. My vegetable platter had a mix of bean sprouts, baby corn, and Oriental mushrooms; all cooked by a family from Guandong, southern China. Compared to other Chinese places in the city, Pon Hing uses just the right amount of oil for a balanced preparation. The pollo con salsa ostión also featured generous portions of Chinese vegetables and savory chicken
A hidden jewel! Great authentic cantonese food made by a Chinese family. The restaurant doesn't look like much but the food more than makes it up for it. There's a reason it's always crowded.
The place cleaning just passed, Service Ok, the main thing on a restaurant is the food, I didn't like it.
Ok if you are hungry and no time to coke.
