La embajda Jarocha Ciudad De México Reviews
Simply the best choice you can make to impress or brag about your mexican wine expertise. A place for dating or going with friends to try new tastings.
Great service, we specifically sought out wine bars while we were staying in CDMX and this was our favorite. All Mexican wines. Moni, helped us and she was so accommodating as we tried to find the right wine to order. The space is beautiful and the vibe was very relaxed. I was surprised there were only 3 other groups there when we visited after dinner at 8:30/9:00, though she said it picks up as it gets later. Highly recommend!
This has been my favorite wine bar in CDMX for a few years. Oscar and Monica always take care of me and the cheese plate is …. So good. It’s usually one of the first places we come to when visiting Mexico City. All wines and cheeses are from Mexico which makes them a little pricier but I like supporting local ingredients.
This is a great place to discover Mexican wines. If you’re like my wife and me and know almost nothing about the different wines produced in Mexico, I recommend going here. They have a fantastic tasting (2 whites, 1 rosé, 2 reds) in addition to other really good options by the glass. The food options are decent. We had a cheese and charcuterie board that was excellent. Special mention to the duck cold cut (I’m guessing it was magret)- very unique and tasty. And the service was just as great. Monica was our server and she was very nice and made great recommendations.
All of the ingredients are sourced within Mexico. Everything we tried was delicious. The atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable to sit, drink and snack for hours.
Lovely wine bar! Super friendly staff, all the food was also delicious, especially the gorditas. Also fantastic tunes on the whole time
Great experience, super sweet staff, tasty lighter food and wine. Some language barrier but we made do and they did their best to accommodate. Would have been even better with some more Mexican wines by the glass but that's just because the ones we tried were delicious 😋
One of the best wine bars we’ve been to! All wines, cheeses and meats are local to Mexico. Our waiter was incredibly helpful in helping us choose a wine and also spoke great English. We ended up going with a Mexican Malbec, our waiter’s favorite grape, which was incredible and paired well with the charcuterie board. The board was beautifully presented and everything had a unique flavor while still all pairing nicely together. Can’t wait to come back here!
Very good experience to try Mexican wine and cheese. It is expensive when you compare with the rest of the city and the service could be better. In general, O would go back for the wine
Great cozy spot that specializes in Mexican wines. They have a huge selection of wines and friendly, knowledgable staff. They will talk through your preferences and make a perfect recommendation based on your likes and what you're wanting to explore. The food was tasty, but just your standard wine bar small bites. Don't go hungry, but be ready to order some noshes to compensate for how much wine you're gonna want to drink.
Cool spot with great wines, nice music, and friendly waiters. Unfortunately, the food was not as good as the rest - the patatas bravas were undercooked and the sauce was not great either. Further, many dishes include dairy, which I am intolerant to. They were unable or unwilling to prepare the dishes I asked about, such as the mussels, without dairy, which hasn’t been a problem at other restaurants. Then, I asked about getting a portion of french fries, which they offer for the mussel dish, and they said they would charge me the full price of the mussels, even if I only got the french fries; not a good look in my opinion.
The venue was hip with high chairs and tables outside. There were also some seats inside. Service was friendly but could be faster. Prices were decent, however the quality of the food could be improved. Menu was kind of varied but limited at the same time. Good cocktail and wine menu. Overall, a different venue in Mexico City to get some type of Spanish “tapas” but mostly charcuterie and strong cheeses.
