What can I say other than get ready to party! This is a fun, lively and serve very tasty dishes. It's a culinary party for both all of your senses! Let's take this journey together. We come here to celebrate, birthdays and special locations, and it never disappoints. Last visit was for mom's birthday as this is her favorite place. It was eight of us, and since this place does not take reservations, there was a bit of a wait. About 30 minutes. That is the only thing that I do not like about this place, they do not take reservations. Everything else is great. We ordered a ton of different items from the menu, and several birthday margaritas were slid around the table. Ceviche Mixto Molcajete Mar y Tierra Carne Tampiquena Mar y Tierra Mi Compadre Levanta Muertos Camarones Chapuzón Just to name a few. They were fantastic! The cuts of meat were pleasant and high quality. The seafood was good size and flavorful. Drinks were flowing like the ocean these ingredients came from. The weekend mariachi came over and serenade mom with her favorite Mexican mariachi songs and a traditional birthday song. What a great time was had by all!

Excellent food, so fresh and they do not hold back on the portions. The Mariachi are such a nice touch but they are loud so holding a conversation is difficult. If you're looking for a more quiet experience ask to be seated outside.

Wow , this place is awesome, nice service, the food was so delicious, fresh and huge portions, prices affordable, drinks were good, family friendly environment and nice music, my family had a great experience eating here, they definitely recommend it and want to come back when we visit Chicago next year

Delicious.food. Big plates for sharing. Attentive service. Great place for a summer dining experience surrounded by live music. Everything was excellent. Mariachi band came around 7:30 pm and performed for a full house. Every table was packed and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Very popular on a Friday night for families, couples, date nights, work groups, big groups, etc- but NOT a good place to take very very young children or babies as it can get very loud inside 🔉🔊⚠️

Not taking reservations. Walk in leave the phone number and they will text you when table available. Limit street parking on weekends. Quick and friendly service. Drinks and seafood are delicious. One of the best langostinos and shrimp ceviche in the area.

Food was delicious, service was great. The only issue I had with my tampiquena was the presentation. The enchilada shouldn't be on top of my steak, then the salsa and cheese from the enchilada wouldn't be soaking into the steak.

Our first order of food was overcooked let the staff know and promptly replaced it with a fresh order cooked to perfection!! The Michelada was subpar lacking in flavor and authenticity. Also had a Paloma that was just squirt and tequila 😢. The food is definitely better than the cocktails.

Food was solid, but I had bought a large and in it was mostly filled with sauce, and this imitation crab or rice; barely any muscles, clams, octopus, and gave half of a snow crab. I had also gotten pick up and the sauce spilled all over me and my carseat. (there was no space to put it down anywhere)

I came in expecting ceviche, but what I received was cooked shrimp with black pepper and salt on a tostada, topped with purple onion and slices of avocado. That is not ceviche at all. I’m not sure if the waitress misunderstood our order or wasn’t aware of what we were asking for, but the food quality was not good and definitely not to my expectations. Even though the restaurant was very busy, the bill was not worth it. I would rate this restaurant zero and would not recommend it.

They have a seafood platter that is a retail price of $95. It is not clean and properly cooked. It tastes like straight freezer burn. Definitely not worth going there for the service. The waitress just try to rush you out. The only decent worker there is an older man that is a busboy. All of the waitress are bothered by anything. If you simply asked for water they would get annoyed. The waitress think it’s a beauty pageant instead of serving customers. My family and I have been coming for years and never received such horrible treatment and such gruesome food. It such a shame that this restaurant lost its decency and overall their hospitality.
