Montejo Sureste Ciudad De México Reviews
The food was delicious. I ordered some panuchos, which were delicious.
Excellent Yucatecan food, quiet place to chat. Reasonable prices.
It's famous for its Yucatecan food, but I think everything else is better. If you order cochinita pibil, get it in a torta. The desserts are delicious. The food is reasonably priced, except for the Yucatecan dishes, because there are better and cheaper places. The waiters are very friendly and attentive. The restrooms are clean. The prices are reasonable, like any other cantina. There are only four parking spaces, but there's a large and not-too-expensive parking lot next door. It's a spacious and comfortable place; you can chat and enjoy your meal.
The lime soup was very good, and the cochinita pibil and pickled turkey tacos were also delicious. The service was very friendly and fast. The atmosphere was peaceful.
We've been visiting this place for over ten years. We like it for the quality of its food. They have delicious snacks for regulars, and the service is friendly and very kind.
Excellent service from all the waiters, especially Captain Germán. The food is excellent. From Monday to Saturday, they offer complimentary snacks with your drink purchase, which I highly recommend. They only have two parking spaces, but they have an agreement with the parking lot next door. My only complaint is that the owner uses one of the spaces without giving priority to customers. I think the place is a bit underutilized; they should have live music.
Down to earth place where to enjoy simple but extremely tasty yucateca cuisine dishes. Service is very friendly. The room is large with sports shown on screens all around. Very affordable prices
Cochinita Pibil Dish is a must in this restaurant. Good service and good food. Casual and cantina style place.

I've been there several times since it opened a few years ago as an alternative to its sister restaurant in Colonia Condesa, and I know the area very well. Unfortunately, over the years, it's lost ground primarily in terms of service, but also in customer experience. For the holiday season, they're noticeably short on waitstaff, and it's hard to imagine a place designed like a cantina/restaurant closing at 7 p.m. in the middle of Avenida de La Paz. It took us 20 or 30 minutes to get served and 10 minutes to get our service back on track each time. A request for tortillas took a table-length time to arrive after the dish they were supposed to accompany had already been served. I hope they improve, because if not, I don't understand how they're going to handle the December peak season. In fairness, I must say that most of the menu remains varied and offers good food. The drinks are rather expensive. If you come by car, I suggest you park three blocks ahead and not in the plaza next to the place because the parking prices there are infamous.
The food is nice, however consider that the service is not the best
Terrible group dining experience. The group bill included items we hadn't ordered and the prices were inflated compared to what was listed on the menu. A real rip-off. Avoid this place.
Worst service ever 😒
Don't give away your money, and if you go, bring a 15% tip (it's mandatory). And accept whatever the waiter serves you, since they decide what you should eat. By the way, bring your time. Their cuts of meat take 30 to 45 minutes.
The food was average, but the service left something to be desired. The waiter imposed a 15% tip, refused to charge us for separate bills, and was reluctant to do so. Don't go if you're going with a group; you'll have a terrible time. It ruined our New Year's get-together.
The parking lot is filled with motorcycles for no reason. A pickup truck is abandoned at the entrance, and no one is taking responsibility. All the waiters are holding cell phones. When we told them about the order, they got upset. Everything is terrible. Food, service, attention. There are more waiters than people, and they still can't manage.
