Rincón Libanés Ciudad De México Reviews
I loved the place, everything was delicious, the grape leaves were amazing, the jocoque too, the coffee was incredible, the baklava were seriously the best I've ever tasted and the gentleman who serves is super attentive and friendly, 10/10.
The food took a while to arrive, but it's acceptable because it's freshly made and the seasoning is very good. It's worth the wait.
The staff is very attentive and everything is delicious!
The food is truly delicious, and the desserts are even better! The owner is super friendly. I'll definitely be back.
The food is truly delicious. I've been more than four times and it's always left me satisfied. I'd even say it's better than Jamil, which is more pretentious and expensive. This one is better. Rincón Libanés, located in Mexico City, is a culinary gem that transports diners to the heart of the Middle East with its authentic gastronomic offerings. From the moment you enter, the warm and welcoming atmosphere, adorned with traditional details, invites you to enjoy a unique experience. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes that represent the essence of Lebanese cuisine. Among the must-tries are the kibbeh, shawarmas, and the classic tabbouleh, prepared with fresh ingredients and carefully selected spices. In addition, the freshly baked pita bread is a true delight that perfectly complements the creamy portions of hummus or mutabal. The service is friendly and attentive, with staff willing to explain each dish and make personalized recommendations. One of the restaurant's advantages is its balance between price and quality, making it an excellent choice for both those who already love Lebanese cuisine and those who want to discover it. El Rincón Libanés is ideal for a casual lunch or a special dinner, offering a glimpse into Lebanon's rich culinary tradition in the heart of Mexico City. It's definitely a visit worth repeating.
The food is delicious and homemade, with a true Lebanese flavor. The waitress is really helpful and friendly. The prices are affordable. A gem if you want to try good Lebanese food.
Very nice gentleman took our order, made our food, am chatted with us. Great food with lots of flavor for fair prices.
Really tasty, and friendly staff. They have a commercial kitchen off site, so the components are assembled at the restaurant. It works. They catered my birthday party: food for 40… easy and delicious.
The food here is authentic to Lebanon and the staff are very nice. Liked the atmosphere a lot.
The food is delicious and the portions are very generous. The prices are reasonable. My companion had never eaten this type of food before and found the flavors very strong, so be prepared for intense flavors in the dishes. The place is comfortable but simple; there's no decoration or anything particularly noteworthy. I'll be back to try the desserts and the tacos.
I really like Lebanese food, and this place is no exception. It's delicious and definitely worth a visit. Plus, eating well is healthy. My suggestion if it's your first time is to order a little bit of everything; you'll see the combo meals at the end of the menu. You won't regret it.
Ok
We were looking for a coffee shop in the area and found this little place. Excellent Arabic coffee accompanied by a slice of date cake. I recommend it. I'll be back to try other dishes on the menu.
Well, I was very disappointed with the place. It's true that they heat everything in a small oven; I didn't see a microwave. The empanadas at $20 were tiny. The tea at $40 seemed expensive for what it was. I didn't try the rest of the food because I thought it was excessively priced, especially after seeing the reviews about it. It's a very poorly run business. The man is nice, but they urgently need waiters because he can't keep up, nor does he know how to serve people well. He's cute, but you can tell they don't know how to run a restaurant. They're in a very good area; they should get some advice.
I didn't like the service. I waited a long time for an order I went to pick up. They gave me frozen pita bread, which they then heated in an oven, and it became hard in minutes. The smoke is almost bitter. I don't know if that's their recipe. I don't recommend this place; they have a branch nearby.
Please don’t go here for Lebanese food. As the other reviewers stated, the food is simply reheated and tastes stale. We had the falafel which was extremely dry with no freshness and a cheese empanada that was soggy and weird. Since there is only one person working there, it takes a long time for the food to come. If you can avoid there are better restaurants in the area.
I ordered grape leaves, and they were inedible, they were so dry. I only bit into one piece, and I couldn't eat any more. Then I ordered a meat empanada, and she brought me a plain one. I told her I was in an Arab restaurant, that I expected an Arab empanada, and that I didn't want it. She said she had already heated it up and couldn't send it back, to which I replied that she should be happy I was paying for the grape leaves, which were disrespectful to the customer. They shouldn't be selling something so bad.
