Note that this visit was a part of a Yelp sponsored experience! Welcome to the divine world of Tea. This place is not only a storefront but also acts as a small warehouse and distribution center for Linda, and her tea business. The box for the yelp event was well wrapped in a gift box containing 4 different tea flavors for us to try. Linda shared her challenges trying to do businesses around the world and the cultural barriers that she had to hurdle through for being a women. Linda has been in business for 25 years and not only does she have tea leaves from a variety of countries but also tea from different regions of a specific country. In addition, she carries other small accessories for your kitchen like bottle brush, sprout brush, merchandise to mention a few. The store moved to its current location in Clifton Park, NY, from its prior location in Schenectady NY. I've been living in Clifton Park for the last 23 years and just found out that there was this Tea place today on route 9 for the last 5 years, where I pass by on a weekly basis. My friend is an avid tea drinker and he never knew a place where to get quality tea from. Had I known this, he would have loved it. Thank you to Yelp community manager, Caitlin,who put this event together and familiarized me with the unique businesses in my area. Yelp experience has been really wonderful and has helped me explore food and businesses that I wouldn't have if I were not part of this elite squad. I can only educate people as I get educated myself. A big thank you to Yelp for bringing communities together. If you are a tea lover or use tea to brew you kombucha, dont forget to stop by and try something new in addition to supporting a women owned small business.

They have a huge selection of fresh organic loose teas. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, if you tell them what you like they will have plenty of suggestions for you. They are always happy to give you a sample to try if you're not sure. I always leave with more teas than I went in for. The smell alone when you walk in is irresistible.

Linda is very personable and friendly with lots and lots of help for anyone looking for exactly the right tea for any occasion, mood or taste. She has taught my wife Jocelyn and me a lot - and when my wife told Linda about a certain mint tea I enjoyed as a 6 year old (40+ years ago) while traveling in Morocco, she pointed out a Moroccan mint tea that tastes just the same as I had in Marakesh. Linda explains the flavors very well, and I loved seeing her blending the different base teas together to make up our custom order. She helped Jocely choose teapots and other hard to find supplies.

Don't really know anything about teas, I just drink them; but this place makes me want to know everything about it, the lady (forgot her name) was very pleasant, and whimsical in the best way possible and had endless patience with me telling me all she could about any questions I had. I ended up buying the honey chai (luvvv), create world peace( will definitely use it when my sinuses are clogged during the winter) and korean green tea (soothing to my soul). I will definitely be buying online from her in the very near future

Divinitea not only has nearly a hundred varieties of organic, loose leaf teas, the shop is also full of tea kettles of all sizes and materials, mugs and cups, towels and coasters, jewelry and notebooks, all beautiful and excellent quality. It's a gift shop and a tea shop! The owner is so knowledgeable and friendly, and all the staff are helpful. It's worth a visit.

I love chai! If I'm in a rush, I'll grab SB. But, if I have a few minutes, especially on the weekends, I make my Organic Egg Nog from Divinitea! So delicious!!! Plus, I ordered a cute little canister to keep it fresh. Big fan!!!!

Linda, the owner is so knowledgeable. She is willing to take time with you to understand what you like and make suggestions to suit your tastes. They have interesting seasonal blends; I look forward to the iced tea blends in the summer. The teaware choices are extensive. I especially like the glassware. She ordered the Chemex all glass tea kettle when I requested it and now keeps it in stock. Nowhere around knows their tea so we’ll and can offer such different varieties.

I've enjoyed everything I've ever gotten from them. Gave little tea samples as stocking stuffers last year. And shopping at their Schenectady location was always a lovely experience. I haven't seen their new place yet, and I pout that it's further away from me, but I'm certain it's nice too. I wish they were open a bit later 1or 2x a week. They close before I leave work during the week and are only open until 2pm on Saturday. I know there's an online store, but I like to smell things 1st.

One problem, there was no wider state mandate in place so I dont carry a mask while shopping. I have no problem with a business requiring them, but at least put masks out at your entrance so potential patrons may comply with your wishes. This is not how to make customers feel welcome and invite them into your store.

One problem, there was no wider state mandate in place so I dont carry a mask while shopping. I have no problem with a business requiring them, but at least put masks out at your entrance so potential patrons may comply with your wishes. This is not how to make customers feel welcome and invite them into your store.
