Hamburger Ranch and BBQ Cloverdale Reviews
Had a great meal over here. The staff are very attentive and sweet. The pastrami sandwich was very fresh and juicy!
Awesome legit BBQ. The pulled pork is fantastic and the ribs are crazy good. Great grilling as the wood and smoke flavors come through beautifully. Sweet, attentive, helpful staff. Well worth going. Sweet covered patio too. I cant wait to go back!
Oh my 🤩 what a great place!!! Bear Creek River beef in a long list of burger options. And? Fairly priced! Top quality ingredients served diner style, right off the Hwy. History has proved why this place was a favorite then and still is today. If you've been? Go back! If you're a newbie, like me? Absolutely do not sleep on this joint. It's a win-win-win!!
Went by this place on the way to Mendocino. Stopped by for the BBQ, it was great, had the BBQ Brisket sandwich with wedge fries, very soft and tender. The brisket was great and you can pull it apart with your fingers. Great service and relaxed atmosphere, sat out on the patio. Walked into the main restaurant and the A/C was very nice and wonderful. When I ate outside it was 85 Degrees. We have a small dog and the server was very accommodating.
Glad we stopped in for breakfast. The food and the portion was good. The restaurant is close to the KOA camp ground. The place reminded me of the restaurant Bella & her dad ate at in the Twilight movie-- nice and cozy. The lady that helped us was very friendly. It looks like the restaurant is small, but there are 2 sections. Lots of seating. They also have a patio for eating outside. They have bbq sauces on the table (which tasted really good). Everyone there was friendly.
Awesome place on the side of the road. Barbeque was really good and the service was great. You have the option to pay from your phone. We ordered the brisket plate with fried and onion rings, bbq sandwich with smoked chicken and Mac and cheese. The kid grilled cheese with fries. Ordered a dessert of Carmel apple crisp which was awesome.
Nice homey and calm atmosphere. Very small-town and relaxing vibe with great staff and service. Food was good, as I got the cheeseburger cooked medium and it was still moist while being cooked enough. Rare to find the perfect balance (pun intended).
Very delicious anytime going thru Cloverdale we're hitting it up
Brisket in the fire house sando was tender and tasty and had plenty of brisket on it. The burger was very good! Meats smoked in house, burger meat ground in house. Give them a try.
It's a local place, which I love giving my $ to local businesses instead of the larger chain restaurants. I felt that the burger was good, but over cooked. Nothing Earth shattering to report. The service was excellent 👌🏻.
This is a cool place to eat and the service is great. The food came out twice as fast as I thought it was going to. Then the food. I wish the was a little better. Coleslaw needs more sauce. Red beans and rice needed more seasoning, check out a Popeyes. Brisket was a little over cooked, but I did eat it all with some sweet bbq sauce. My wife enjoyed the chicken but not the potato salad. A wonderful family owned business, great food , great location. Nevertheless I went at a less busy time , the food was not as fresh as expected . Too much sauce on the bbq , I should have told to get me dry . Soup was decent . The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating. The burger was really good .
Service was slow. We had to get someone's attention because they were unorganized and assumed we had been helped. The brisket was dry and tough. The fries were old stale and dry. The chili was flavorless. Friends ordered pastrami sandwiches and found them dry and tasteless. BBQ sauces are very good. Atmosphere is decent.
I stopped in for lunch, but the only thing I could eat there was a burger in a lettuce wrap — they don’t have any real gluten-free options, and none of their meats or other items are labeled gluten-free, so beware if you have an allergy or sensitivity. I ordered sweet potato fries with my burger, and they came out completely burnt — so overdone they were barely edible. When I asked if they could be replaced, I was told “that’s how we make them,” which clearly wasn’t true because I saw another table get perfectly cooked, golden fries just minutes later. The burger itself was below average — nothing special at all — and the service didn’t help either. The waiter was borderline rude and dismissive when I brought up the burnt food. Overall, I don’t get the hype behind this place. There are way better spots for a decent lunch. I wouldn’t recommend stopping here.
Oh Lord, i dont know where to start. Garlic fries had big chunks of onions, and garlic was burnt. Disgusting. Brisket looked and tested like it was boiled, no flavor and tough. Mac and cheese straight out of the box and couldn’t even cook them right. Daughter had chicken thighs, not sure how long they had them stored, but they didn’t taste right. We left them on the plate like most of the other food. I really hope we don’t get sick.
