Great Gurkha food
Some of the best Indian food I have had in quite a while. Will definitely visit again.
Best curry for a long time, and the best Naans ever. Good service, interesting specials.
My first choice everytime. Food and service is faultless. Yummy!!!!
5 Stars all round. Great restaurant with lovely authentic cuisine. Staff always friendly and make brilliant recommendations. Highly advise giving the Gurkha Inn a go.
Delicious food, great service whether eating in or takeaway and good vegetarian options. Delivery usually turns up a lot quicker to us than it says also. Fantastic!
The best curry, roti and naan I've had in a long time. Highly recommended, my new favourite takeaway.
Easily the best Indian takeaway i've ever had! I walked in on a Sunday evening and ordered food to takeaway. Very quick service and very polite staff. Food was amazing. All good quality and very tasty. It didn't have the classic mushy rice or very oil curry. Real flavour. Will most definitely be going back. Cost on there website is more expensive than in the store. Slightly more expensive than other Indian takeaways but very much worth it for the quality. Thanks!
We got a takeaway and it was excellent! The food was delicious and it is easily one of the best Indian takeaways we have ever had. There is also a really good choice of dishes, so something I would imagine to suit everyone! We had a drink whilst we waited for our food, the staff were very friendly and the service was quick. Would highly recommend.
Off the charts!!! Simply the best Indian / Nepalese food this side of the Indian Ocean. Everything perfectly executed from the fluffy plain boiled rice to the most amazing naan and the Lamb dish - Laal Maans. Deliciously flavoured, juicy, tender, melt-in-the-mouth lamb. This is THE benchmark. Anyone who hasn't rated this place 5 stars, does not know what great food is! Very pleasant, fast service and beautiful decor. Tremendous value for money too! My new favourite restaurant in the UK!
Best curry in town. We all family enjoyed a lot. Freshly made delicious food, very clean and tidy place. Customer service was ok but the restaurant owner was very friendly and humble. I recommend every one.
Underrated as good different food, value and excellent taste. Also very prompt on take aways.
a great place. they coped very well with our young son's dairy intolerance.
Some of the hot chicken dishes, even though called something different, were exactly the same.
Tasty food, but lacks atmosphere
Lovely food, best curry I've had in ages. Service was slow at the end but they were very busy and would still highly recommend them.
Food is average in terms of taste and price
Average food bit on the bland side. Friendly service and reasonable prices. Lamb chops were fairly decent and the lamb biryani is 7/20.
Mixed plater starter was lovely but that's all. Chicken tikka masala tested like tomatoe soup. Sherpa chicken tested more like Spanish chicken with chilli. Achari chicken tested like Spanish chicken. Overall not very good and very expensive. Won't be going back
Chicken tikka masala was very poor not even nearly hot (SPICE)?more like a corma .mushroom rice was poor uncooked mushrooms with over cooked rice and the nan was a total let down.more like a pancake batter cooked in a pan. And it all got served in like 5 mins like it was just reheated from the day before .SHOCKING FOOD! Not going back for sure
I don't know who wrote the previous reviews but our take away meal this Saturday could have easily passed as a Supermarket ready meal.it was totally unauthentic I am a big "curry" fan and was very happy when this restaurant opened in close proximity to me eager at the prospect of the ease of being able to get my curry fix whenever I wanted unfortunately my joy was short lived and I'll be sticking with Panahar in Esher from now on.
Food took ages to arrive and was barely warm. Drive said he couldn't find the road with his satnav. Lame excuse TBH. King Prawn Puri was soggy and tasteless no lemon supplied and salad was wilted and brown. Onion Bhaji cold flat and soggy, again with wilted salad. Main was cold but OK. Naan bread was soggy and cold. Rice was lovely.
