dayo Cogoleto Reviews
Sushi e cucina cinese ottimi.
Good food 🥑
Fantastic home delivery, the guy was super nice! The food leaves a lot to be desired... the rice was overcooked and tasteless, the meat ravioli were very salty, the gnocchi were tasteless, the frying oil was old engine oil, at least 7 months old. Terrible.
We were a little skeptical beforehand. But we had a delicious meal, fresh and flavorful. We had sushi and fried rice with spicy chicken—excellent! The staff was friendly and helpful. We highly recommend it!
Excellent food and super friendly and professional staff, they're very attentive to your order! My girlfriend and I ordered takeout for dinner on the beach. They forgot the nigiri, and they made sure they had them ready for us as soon as we got back from the beach. I really appreciated their kindness!
All Of The sushi Was Delicious ,The service Was Kind ,The Place Looked Great,If This was In The Usa I would eat Here every Weekend.I Hope This Place Gets 5 Stars 😊
I frequently go there with my family. We love the quality of the food. Highly recommended to eat a nice Chinese and Japanese meal. The owners are very welcoming and always happy to suggest some speciality according to your tastes and needs. Clean and tidy place, during the summertime you can also eat in the dehor outside. Paying parking just in front (in the evening they are free).
The restaurant is just a few meters from the sea, even though it's across the street. We had a really good meal: a fish soup worthy of the name, fresh fish, perfectly cooked. The staff was really kind and helpful, so much so that I flooded the table with water and they immediately moved me to another table so as not to cause me any further inconvenience. They were also open to changing the ingredients on the menu. Boring as I am, I had a really good time. Recommended.
Today was a bit of a stopgap. The idea was to eat at a typical Ligurian restaurant with a sea view, but after countless attempts, we had to settle for the only restaurant with room. All in all, it wasn't bad: good food with a reasonable quality/price ratio. In conclusion, you eat well if you like the style.
This restaurant serves Chinese cuisine partially adapted to Italian tastes. The service was very fast and courteous. The menu is extensive, with all dishes numbered and some photos. I recommend the seafood udon, but the sea bass was also good. For dessert, I enjoyed the classic truffle. The Italian wine list is also quite extensive. Good value.
Great sushi, especially the rice is award worthy. Fish could be better, but at this price you will eat very good
The restaurant is located on the Cogoleto seafront, offering both outdoor and indoor seating, though cell phone reception is poor. The menu isn't all-you-can-eat, but you can choose an appetizer, first course, and second course for less than €13. A menu for individual dishes is also available, and prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly, and the dishes are made with ingredients purchased fresh in the area.
In my takeaway experiences, I've gone from okay evenings with good-quality dishes to decidedly bad ones... first courses that are obviously reheated and uramaki that are stored, cold from the fridge and not made on the spot... considering that the restaurant doesn't offer an all-you-can-eat formula and the prices aren't exactly cheap... you expect something more.
Chinese restaurant with decent but somewhat standardized dishes, with no Chinese left. We were "served" without even the most basic knowledge of service: you order a beer, and they can't even tell you the quantity! 33, 50, 66cc?? Nothing. Like talking to a brick wall. No explanation of the dishes, the waiter barely understands Italian, so you have to read the menu carefully, stick to it, and tell him the number. Period. Between courses, as he's clearing away the dishes, the waiter drops a paper napkin on the floor, stuck underneath a plate. He promptly retrieves it from the floor and puts it back on the table!!! Not even the courage to bring us a clean one?! Total €68 But that's not all. After paying the bill, my wife very discreetly points out that there was a hair inside a roll, but she does so thinking she's being polite, pointing it out only after paying, and especially not in the presence of other customers. In response, the manager replies that "the rolls come from Milan," and adds as if nothing had happened: "We forgot to include the dessert," an extra €6, which they obviously wanted, regardless of the previous report! After hearing about such an inconvenience (which can happen, mind you), at least they had the courage to give us what had mistakenly not been included! Total €74, but wasted. For those who remember Dayo under the previous management, well, it's no longer relevant.
Mediocre oriental restaurant, curtains nailed to the windows (a bit like "don't we ever wash them?"), portions that aren't generous, restrooms in need of an overhaul, and sky-high prices. Two adults and one child, first course, second course, and dessert: €102.00.
First of all, I want to point out that I gave this one star because I can't give it 0. The price is definitely exorbitant compared to other restaurants. The food is low-quality, except for a few classic dishes. The menu is only à la carte, with no pictures. I want to point out that two adults and a child paid €69.90 [€2.80 for a liter of water]. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING. Definitely goodbye and never again😑
