Appalachian Deli & Market Cold-Spring Reviews
For a small gas station stop, their turkey club sandwich was incredible, pizza was simple and yummy, and the place was very clean. Great spot to stop on the way or back from hiking
Cheapest around
Love it
Good prices on gas and good soda
Friendly staff
Good gas prices clean bathrooms very nice store with a lot of food opptions
best delie in garrison
I would never though the food would be good at a quick stop type place... BUT the food is very good at Appalachian Market!
Clean station with good service
Well-managed gas/diesel station with good prices, convenience store, outdoor tables for eating, clean restrooms. Pumps programmed for Stop & Shop gas points. No mechanic.
Best gas station around. Food is fantastic. Fast but not fast food. Staff is friendly, place is clean.
The Appalachian always seems to be open. A nice place with decent food. Way better food than most gas stations. Probably because its real food, prepared/ cooked. It's worth a stop.
Convenient
I stop here daily as it is on my commute to work, they are very friendly, have a great deli, and are very clean. The bathroom is large and has tv. I think it is also a great stop for people crossing the Appalachian trail. I see they have all the supplies one would need to replenish, plus picnic benches, indoor tables, and as before mentioned a nice clean restroom large enough to change in.
Good location. I visit it every day for breakfast and coffee
Appalachian market always has good food. Never unhappy when i come here. Good rest stop for bikers and hikers.
Good food
This is for english only persons. Flaws, walk up to the deli section, ask for "boarshead ham with yellow american with mayo on a seeded roll", He doesnt articulately understand and points to a hero, I replied pointing this out in english, this is a hero, this is a roll. Omg after years in business in a country predominately english doesnt understand the order. I wil not be challenged to purchase another. Everything else, ok.
I got a BEC, and my friend got a BLT. I didn't taste his, but he said it wasn't great. My BEC had one egg. For $4. We also got empanadas, and while I'm not certain, I'm pretty sure they were Goyas frozen. Oh, and the staff was rude and pushy. Overall, it was a complete disappointment and waste of money. Don't bother
I will never stop here ever again. If I ran out of gas in front of this dump I would push my truck somewhere else. Not only are they consistently one of the higher priced gas stations in the area, but they rob you for an extra 10 cents per gallon for using a credit card, which at $4.54 per gallon I imagine most people would use a card. But I have a 36 gallon tank and on a freezing cold, windy night I have to do 2 transactions and then go inside for my receipts because they have an $85 limit per transaction. The guy inside tried to say it was my card, but since I have no limits at other gas stations I know that is not true. I really have nothing good to say about this place.
