This has been the best Latin breakfast place i have tried so far. El calentado was AMAZING, the steak was so flavorful, the rice tasted soo good, im not a big fan of eggs in general but these were really good. The chorizo was like the cherry on top. The mango smoothie was amazing and definitely combined perfectly with the meal. The service is also perfect, the waitress is super welcoming, funny, and attentive. I will be coming here again soon! Just as a heads up - they do add gratuity to the order automatically. But it was worth it.

Elbert, was our waiter and he went above and beyond for my family. We were visiting New York to celebrate a family member, and this was such a treat for our first day visiting. He was very patient with our elders, and help them feel at home. The menus are iPads and they offer both English and Spanish options which our mixed language family appreciated. We got the meat platter and four people could not finish it. I think we still had over half to take home. It was so delicious and the arepas were easily some of the best I’ve ever tasted. They’re a little bit more rounder than what I normally have, but I love the airy texture and crispness. Service was top notch, Elbert once again was wonderful and such a trooper. Thank you again for making my grandaunt’s celebration so special! The birthday singing and treat was a lovely surprise!

This is my go to place to celebrate birthdays for my family members. Nataly attended us and has greeted my parents, family, and sister family with warmth from the get go. My mother uses a walker and she was very warm and embracing. The food, dessert and drinks are delicious. Thank goodness my sister and husband found this place. Nataly was on it and transparent with the menu and the food. I’m so glad to celebrate my 41st here!

August 2, 2025 They have gotten high tech. Their menus are on an iPad. Their dishes names are in spanish, with no descriptions of the dish in English. Their Carne En Salsa De Champinones is delicious. A Virgin Piña Colada is $15 🤯. There is going to be a Mr. Mario's Café nexto door soon. Very delicious Fajita Mix platter. Shrimp, Beef and Chicken with Flour tortillas and white rice. The Entraña a la Mexicana is my favorites as well as the Carne Asada con Champiñones. I had a homemade Iced Tea that was soooo good! It's not on the menu but if you ask they might make it for you. Big TVs as well while you dine. Calentado Mr. Mario is really good. Everything is well seasoned.

Food was incredible. Definitely the best Colombian restaurant that I've been to. They played all the best salsa music. The food was so delicious and came out quick. Also I ate pretty late at night and was one of two customers in the shop on a Monday evening. Seriously everything I got was incredible. Both the chicken and the beef empanadas, patacones with guacamole, the steak and arepa was soooo nostalgic for me and made me sooo happy! They did add tip automatically just as a heads up If I'm ever back in this area I will definitely be coming back!

So good, we went for a late meal and so glad to have stumbled across this place. We got there around 10 pm, was seated right way. The place was super clean warm with good music not so loud and not too low. The menu is electronic, the waiter was awesome. We stared with the Sopa de pollo con crema, which my husband loved, I got the tostones with guacamole was fresh and lemony. Speaking of lemon the coconut lemon drink is a must. Went here yesterday after coming and ordering from here for years. Had an uncomfortable experience. I’m not the best in Spanish, so I had my friend order for me, 100% was her mistake for saying something else other than what I wanted , regardless it was the same thing just without the topping, & when we alerted the server I actually can’t eat this and wanted the same dish just without the topping that was placed, I am severely allergic to that topping so I said to my friend I actually wanted the other topping bc I can’t eat this, The server told us we still had to pay for the meal on top of the replacement meal. Which was unsettling because 1, im allergic how can I take this home and eat it? 2, I’ve been a server for over 10 years & when a customer sends back a meal it was never appropriate to tell the customer they had to pay for it and the other meal they wanted in replacement. This was extremely unprofessional & the more unsettling part of this experience was that the server was rude about it & added automatic gratuity on a 2 people dinner which was less than $100, no where in the menu did it say gratuity was included under 6 people. It felt disrespectful and greedy, since we didn’t get the best service and did not think she deserved what she put for herself. I’ve come many times as I said and this was never an issue. It’s a shame on the establishment, since this place is very popular and clearly doing very well if they expanded their business the way they have, to be this greedy to their fellow people is shameful. I will not be returning and I will be telling everyone to avoid this place due to the greed.

I recently visited this restaurant and wanted to share my experience. While the food was decent enough, I was a bit disappointed to see that gratuity was automatically added to the bill. In my opinion, tipping should be optional and reflect the quality of service, not just a mandatory charge. Unfortunately, the service on my visit wasn’t particularly stellar, so this automatic gratuity felt a bit out of place. Just something for the management to consider, as it would be more appreciated if tipping were left to the customer’s discretion.
