I told my daughter I wanted some soup because I’m under the weather. She recommended Pho. I’m like what is that? I ordered the Beef Pho on DoorDash. It came well packaged, very still fresh. I didn’t know how to assemble the soup. So I just threw everything together. My taste buds were so excited. Like where the hell have you been my whole life. I had only a few bits and I was full. I’m saving this restaurant as one of my favs here in Bryan/College Station Tx.

Solid gluten free options with fried rice, vermicelli bowls, and most importantly, gf noodles for the Pho which is delicious. Absolutely hits the spot on a cold day.

"Nam Cafe is a hidden gem! The pho is incredibly flavorful, and the banh mi is perfectly crunchy. Fast, friendly service and a cozy atmosphere. A must-try for authentic Vietnamese food!"

Today was my second time eating here and I wanted to make sure I left a review this time. Everyone is so sweet especially Ken. I’m vegan and wouldn’t be able to eat the fried rice because it’s cooked with butter but Ken was able to modify it by cooking it without butter. He also offered some information about how to find vegan restaurants via the Happy Cow app. I knew about the app already but it really warmed my heart that he mentioned it. I wish I could give them 10 stars

I love the chicken pho here! The egg rolls are also pretty solid. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is perfect! My go-to for Vietnamese cuisine in College Station!

Chicken Pad Thai was awesome! Very authentic Vietmanese food. Quick service: order at counter, take your order flag, server brings food to table. In and out fast!

A little loud, but being right near campus it's to be expected. Hot & fresh pho served quickly with a good flavor. Will visit again when I'm back in town.

Overall a great eating experience. The good was delicious and freshly made. I wish the pho had a slightly deeper flavor and the vermicelli had a stronger flavor profile. Helping seemed nicely portioned for the price. The cashiers, servers of food and person cleaning up the table seemed attentive and friendly. The table had full siracha and hoisin bottles which is really nice. The bathrooms were down a very narrow hallway and small (1 person at a time) Parking lot is small.., about 10 slots so parking behind cars is common. I’d recommend and would return.

I ordered the pad Thai, which tasted fine for its price although the noodles could have had more flavor. The service was good, got my order quickly and there was good organization. Atmosphere was good. I liked the dim lighting but felt crammed here because of the small area, however the staff members were welcoming and inviting.

Food that I ordered was tasty enough. Ordered the vegetarian / vegan pho and ordered tofu spring rolls. Their “vegan” bao” is actually brushed with egg wash so it’s not vegan after all.

Nam Cafe is very delicious. I ordered bulgogi bao, beef pho soup, and loaded nam fries. I highly suggest the loaded nam fries. If you hold onto your receipt, you can also get 10% off your order from boneapatea, which is next door. I wanted to give 3 star, but because of the taste and quality of food, I gave it 4. I waited over 15 min for my food. People who ordered after me was receiving their food immediately. Eventually I was tired of waiting and went to ask about my order. They were confused and stated that they must have given it out to the wrong table. After that, they quickly brought out the food and apologized.

The only negative thing I have to say about this place after my first visit is that there is very little parking, so keep that in mind when you come here. I had the Spicy Noodle Soup, which come with a side bowl of beans sprouts, jalapeno slices and a lime wedge. The soup itself has thick noodles, thinly sliced beef, cilantro, green onion, red cabbage and onion. I thought the soup was very good, I'd definitely come back. The tables have chopsticks, spoons and forks on them and there is a station where you can get chili sauce, chili oil and other condiments also.

I would like to give this review as 2 types of people first. As a non-VIetnamese person and as a Vietnamese person respectively regarding the food. TLDR: 8/10 for it's Pho, setting, and service. The Setting: It is a cafe! This means ample seating areas to sit and chat with friends over food while also being a place one can study due to the sheer amount of outlets they have at almost every single table along the walls. It has warm light sparse throughout the cafe alongside natural lighting. First thing that surprised me was the large amount of space inside when one walks in. It gives an airy and open feeling that won't make you feel crowded even if the place was packed. It also feels like a classic Vietnamese place you'd find in Houston but cleaner and a little more modern. The staff is very nice and the food is great! The Food: I had a bowl of their Pho Dac Biet (Special House Pho which just means you get a variety of most of their meats). As a non-Viet person I would likely find it delicious for its authentic bowl of soup and noodles. It is flavorful, warm, and quite satisfying without leaving you overly stuffed and food comatose. As a Viet person I will break the Pho down to their essential components starting with the broth. Beef Broth: It is clear, almost a clean taste, flavorful but a little sweet and salty. It resembles to home made pho albeit due to this being their soft opening, they are still tinkering on the recipe. I still find it satisfactory due to being the best in College Station by far. Improvements can be on reducing sugar and saltiness, simmering in bone broth longer, and skim more oils out just to get that perfectly smooth and clean broth you'd like in a refreshing bowl of Pho. Noodles: I found it surprisingly delicious! It was smooth, silky, and had a nice familiar chewiness found in fresh rice noodle you'd find at home. It compliments the broth very well and it was a good amount of noodles that leaves you satisfied. Meat: The meat was great! It was flavorful with good amounts of fat on them. The texture was very tender and did not require too much chewing while maintaining the clean feeling that pho is supposed to have. I wish it had a little more meat to supplement the value but t'was satisfying none the less. The round beef and brisket were delicious. The meatball was juicy and flavorful! Overall: I found the bowl of pho to be satisfactory and pleasantly better than expected as due to the location of College Station known for its lack of Vietnamese cuisine. The bowl of pho will definitely satisfy although a little expensive for $10, it is reasonable due to it's location being right across from campus, a prime real estate spot. I give the place a 8/10 for now and expect improvements as the owner is very interactive and a extremely happy guy that loves to get to know his customers and community!

If you are craving, flavorful comfort food, this newly opened place does a very good job at that with their Pho. Went here on the day it opened and the place was already crowded. I got the beef Pho, which tasted really good. The quantity was a little less than I expected. The staff was curtious and ambience was well lit. I visit VY's kitchen frequently and they are a better value for money, while Nam does their Pho a little better.

Not bad for a college area restaurant. Little hard to find, GPS didn't help at all. PHO was good. Need to go back to try other menu items Spring rolls were disappointing, remove bean sprouts add lettuce or some type of greens.

not a real banh mi… it’s on a “baguette” but it really is just a baguette shaped dinner roll, only 1/2 on my sandwich had pate and it was the smallest amount, meat/veggies ok. Viet Noodle Pho and More has something closer to an authentic banh mi. Staff/vibes were nice.

We just spent over $50 here for 2 entrees and an appetizer. First the grill sampler was very small, then my wife’s pad Thai was orange with grease. The meat in the pad Thai wasn’t bad but also covered in the same grease and unbalanced spice combo. The picture is my “bulgogi” bahn mi. I put the quotes bc as you can tell there isn’t much bulgogi or anything once you remove the cucumber and literal pound of cilantro. Won’t be returning here.

I used to love this place and Bon Appe Tea, which share the same kitchen, but I got diarrhea twice from here and won’t be coming back. Yes, I pinpointed it to just this food, including their banh mi, which isn’t authentic at all.

This was the worst Vietnamese food I've tried.. We ordered grilled pork, but it was undercooked, and the egg noodles in the shrimp pho were unappetizing. Very disappointing

Worst Bahn Mis I’ve ever had. They need to go to Houston and learn how to make them. Carrots are too thickly cut. Pate taste weird. And twice as expensive as a Houston location.
