This location always has the fasrest service and best made sandwiches! Definitely the best location. (I either call order in or just walk in.
Last two orders were incorrect. Order today not as ordered, took an hour to be delivered, then the delivery person asked for tip. What?
This place sometimes has problems with delivery times because they prioritize the walk-in customers first since the store becomes extremely packed during lunch. But the food is always fantastic, the staff is always kind and friendly, and the store is always so clean and inviting. And the biggest thing for me is how clean they keep their bathrooms. A lot of places ignore the bathrooms and it’s always a very unpleasant experience if you need to use the public facilities.
It's Jimmy John's, usually quick and easy to get in and out. This location can be very busy at lunch time. I'd rather see that than an always empty parking lot and no one ever inside.
This is our preferred location over all others. The sandwiches are always great, and the staff very friendly. I have to admit though, I'm not a fan of the delivery. It always takes far too long, & doesn't follow along with the 'tracker', because of in store priority. The last order we waited over an hour, only to find out our order hadn't even been started because of in store issues that we weren't made aware of. I also don't care for the fact that $4 is charged for delivery, yet the hardworking drivers don't receive the fee, OR minimum wage. That is the definition of corporate greed. But we appreciated our wonderful driver, Aaron. Thank you!
Always a good place to get decent food fast. Sometimes it's so fast they just forget you asked for extra toppings. I get that it's part of the motto but please just slow down for a few seconds to actually put the complete order together.
I've been eating here for over 20 years and will continue to do so, but Jimmy John's is really making me angry with their current changes. They introduced toasted subs and this location was already inexplicably slow. Now it is worse. I used to go in and order and have my sandwich before I finished paying. Recently I waited 15 minutes for them to make a #5. I don't care how busy they are, this is not what Jimmy John's is supposed to be. It is even worse because the toasted sandwiches are not worth the price and the pizza sandwiches are outright bad. Don't buy their promotional items and don't expect prompt service. It is such a disappointment what they have done to this franchise.
We order a lot for our unit at the hospital. Every time there is an issue with our order. It took 3 attempts to get all of our items to us today and still did not get the sauce we paid for. No mayo no mustard missing drink no napkins and missing sauce!! Last time we ordered it took over an hour to get our food. It seems when I pick up they still don’t get the order correct. You really need to get it together. We spend a lot of money with guys for this poor service!!
I’m about to stop ordering here completely. I have, once again, had to cancel because I have a certain time I have to go to lunch. So I had to cheat on my diet or not eat at all, even though I ordered it nearly 2 hours before. It was set for 11:45 and it didn’t get there until nearly 12:45. And this isn’t the first, second, or even third time. I suggest if you want to order from here, do it the day before then maybe it’ll only be 20 minutes late.
This company prides itself on being “freaky fast” yet this location almost always takes at least an hour to get a couple sandwiches that take less than a minute to throw together. If they want to minimize their delivery radius so they can get you your order on time then there should be no reason for it to take over an hour. I give it chance after chance hoping this time would be different but it only gets worse. I must have complained too many times because last time I reached out to corporate no one even bothered to respond, so here is my two star review, which might be too generous. Maybe its time to close this location if getting deliveries out on time is too difficult because it looks like I’m not the only one disappointed in this location.
Used to be a regular customer and was my go-to for ordering lunch at work. Last few times I've ordered my sandwich has been made wrong, had forgotten items, and a handful of other issues. Today I'm finally changing my review because it took an hour and 45 to get my food. It was labelled as "out for delivery" for over an hour. I called and was told that the driver "assigned herself to the delivery to get it off our screen." Food arrived incorrect and missing my side of ranch. Can't recommend anymore due to slow delivery and improper orders. It's a 6 minute drive.
***update*** this place used to be on point, the only Jimmy John’s that I went to. Over the last year, they have went down hill. What is the point of ordering on the app, if it isn’t started until you get to the store. 3-4 people working, moving like molasses. *** update is August 31, 2025. I guess you can’t get good help here anymore****Best service. Thank you. Gave me hope in good old fashion customer service.
No, seriously this is a lie! I have waited almost an hour for an online order. Also when you order online and decide to using the tracking on the app it is not accurate because I waited for it to say ready for pick up but after 40 mins I decided to show up and my food (hot sub) was sitting on the rack cold while the tracker told me my order was still being made! This place needs new management to crack down on things like this! Too bad subway is 🗑️ and I have to come here for subs, I am praying daily for Jersey Mikes so I can replace this place!
Asked for extra cucumber and avocado which is an extra fee. I didn't get extra anything, are these people illiterate or just plain retarded? What a load of crap...there's a picture to show you my 3 cucumbers and practically no avocado spread. You can't even get a sandwich order right, oh god you people are a joke lol. Thats why you work minimum wage jobs lol bunch of losers.
Managment needs to pay attention vs standing around chatting 20 min for a sandwhich is ridiculous bc your employee didnt pay enough attention to the orders they handed out. Where my refund for my wasted time. Hope ur owner know how bad the service is
Slowest JJ I've ever visited. Not greeted when I entered as usual at other locations. No other visitors were in the store at the time, and 3 employees took 1 minute just to take our order, then another 10m before they even started making our 3 sandwiches. Too busy cutting lettuce and washing something.
Just spent $50 bucks on an order didn’t get half the food we ordered. Paid for extra stuff and didn’t get it. My damn sandwich had two VERY small pieces of meat a small onion no tomatoes not cut in half. Not understanding why it’s so hard to get an Oder right, read a screen make a sub….just a little damn pride in your job. 🙄🤬
This is ridiculous!!!! Ordered placed a order at 10:39 am it's 11:26am still no food. And the only answer I got from the store is our delivery driver is busy, sounds to me like more drivers are needed. I shouldn't have to pay to wait because yall don't want to pay more drivers. VERY DISAPPOINTED 😡😡😡 Shame on me for giving them another chance,this time I waited 2 1/2 hours just to get a soggy sandwich and a watered down lemonade, piece of advice just order from In & Out convenience store. Better sandwiches,more toppings and you definitely won't have to wait 2,3 hours for your food because some owner doesn't want to pay drivers. Not going to say I'm done with Jimmy John's but definitely done with this particular one they just don't seem to get it. Don't say I didn't warn you!
Very poor customer service. Late delivery with no apologies or explanation. Updated Review: I dropped off an order @ the restaurant 09/15/21 for delivery @ 11:00 am on 09/16/21. I called the restaurant @ 11:21 am 09/16/21 to inquire about the delivery being late and I was informed that they had received several delivery orders that morning for that same delivery time and it would be at least 40 more minutes before it arrived. Perhaps I am wrong in thinking that orders should be delivered first come first served? I would have appreciated being informed of the delay so I could have made other arrangements. Thank you.
I have been a loyal customer to the Jimmy Johns on Water St for quite sometime now. My experience today especially with one of the managers at this store was unprofessional. I’ve given this store chance after chance of messing up my orders or just outright not listening to me. For a manager to just get upset and HANG UP on a customer who is very irritated by your establishment, that is NOT how a situation should be handled. I understand being short staffed and I’ve been very patient and nice enough until now. Very unprofessional and clearly the employees have no clue what they are even doing under this manager’s watch. Do not expect good service from this store especially from “Dylan Smith”.
