One of my favorite CHINESE FOOD spots plus super friendly
First things first. I grew up around the area so this shopping center is very familiar to me. About this Chinese food joint, I'm 30 years old and ever since Im able to have a memory I can remember eating this Chinese food. Of course it has gone threw it's ups n downs and of course it will have drama out in the parking lot do to it being in the area that it's in. But back to this joint, I've seen many food spots come n go from this center but never has this restaurant been in trouble of shutting down, sure once in 30 yrs they must of had a bad grade for one reason or another but I can tell you for sure is that the food is exactly what you expect from a fast food Chinese spot. Noodles are thick and juicy. Fried rice is as fried and juicy as you expect. Prices have gone up like everything else in life. Back then I remember 5 dollars got you a 2 side combo. Now it's around 7ish bucks a 2 side combo. Recommend the chicken on a stick with sauce. Like I said I've known this place as long as I've known Compton swapmeet but thats gone already and this spot is still here. Don't let a few Asian immagrsntd spoil your Chinese plate remember all races have attitudes and this place has real Asians working there. Let me just add i have never known the real name of this spot and never cared or bothered on knowing it. Those that know this place simply know it as the Chinese spot on Atlantic that's how good it is. like I said it's been open since the 90s so a bad review from new customers really won't cover the thousands of happy belly's like me. I'm heading there tomorrow as a matter a fact. I'm also a fan of it's sister spot on Rosecrans got started way after this one but same style same people same service same deliciousness!! Not a paid actor nor will I be compassionated for my review. Just glad this place is still around.

Great service pretty quick serve time. Just packed outside during evening hours.

This place is okay. My favorite Chinese food spot closed down. This one is okay, but not great. The flavors are decent. I am not sure if I would recommend this place.

Not worth what you're paying and the noodles are bland. Food is just not good.
The rice is so salty and they give me to little food and is so expensive I pay 13 dollars just for 2 items and rice
Typical fast food non authentic Chinese food. Not that good either.
The rice was way past its expiration date. Tasting like spoiled egg and rice. The orange chicken also tasted sour. The only good thing was the noodles. She was friendly but wouldn't go again.
I usually do not have anything bad to say about a restaurant, especially a fast food joint. However, I am dispatched to work out of Los Angeles and came upon this place on November 4th because of a fight going on out front. There was a Asian male and I believe to be a Hispanic male fighting outside and I was watching and listening to these guys. The Asian male wanted the Hispanic male to leave from in front of his business hmmm. Well curiosity got the best of me today November 07, 2017 and I went into this place and I wanted to order spicy chicken and bell pepper over steamed rice. Like I'm saying spicy chicken over rice. The host or clerk insisted I wanted the rice, I believe house rice(which is in the warmer) and trying to force me to eat what she has prepared. The host got a little tempered and in her language spoke with another woman behind the counter and was without any doubt speaking ill about me and what I wanted. Tones and Expressions tell a lot. The host then tried to fill my container full of rice, "I said stop" and then she put one spoon of spicy chicken and bell pepper in the container and closed it angrily and said with utter harshness $5.92 and slammed the container down. To top it all off the Asian male who I seen fighting was the cook today. Hmmm! You Judge
Dont go they served you very little and more expensive been like thar for a while
This place at best is sketchy. The food is okay. Does not have great flavor, no fountain drinks on hand. Parking sucks. This place is one of those spots that you stop by while passing. By not a place I would call a regular. Heads up if you use your card there's a dollar charge for using it.

I have purchased food a couple of times and I ask them if they can put the spicy item on the side since I share the plate with my kids, and I haven’t had a problem until today. I’m assuming the manager is the one who served me today because she refused to separate it and she did it very rudely. I told her it was fine to put it all together she slammed my plate and gave it to the cashier without telling her anything the cashier started charging me and she started helping the next person. She gave away the last portion of orange chicken which was going to be in my next order, I told both of them but she kept ignoring what I was saying the cashier told me I would have to wait 10 mins, I kept telling her that she rudely stopped helping me, and she didn’t say anything. Anyway I still paid and went home to eat, I ended up finding hairs in 2 different plates and thought that with the type of customer service it was not worth going back, my relative however decided to go back with 2 other plates, they argued that too much was eaten from the plate so they weren’t willing to give any refund, she explained that she didn’t find the hair until she had ate some. If the food was good, it would maybe be worth putting up with bad customer service, however neither the food or the service was good.
One star because I walked in today on my 15 min break. Lady just standing there didn’t even greet me or take my order til after 6 min. Until I said “ excuse me can you take my order?” Like what kind of service is that?!?
overpriced, went there for two crossiants with ham, egg and cheese they tried charging me 22$ lmao just decided to walk out, went to a different donut shop with the same order i had in mind two crossiant with ham, egg and cheese for 9.50$ instead
For a fast food place the food is really expensive just for 2 plates I spend $35. It was the first time I have gone their, and my last time. Usually I spend $14 in other chines places.
I remember coming here as kid. It was the best Chinese food in town. Flavorful and friendly customer service. Now I wouldn't go for free. No flavor, it's dry, and expensive and they hardly serve a good portion. My favorite was the chicken wings. Not anymore.... Plus they charge $1 to use your debit card. Won't be coming back.
Got some food on 1/10/2025 and got real sick food poison as soon as i had a tiny bit of food my stomach started hurting 2hr later vomiting had to go to urgent care at Kaiser this was very serious i will be making a report with the drug and food administration
