The service in this chipotle location is usually pretty bad BUT today, Chanty made a huge difference. She was very pleasant, patient and kind. And because of her, I’m giving this place a 5-star. Chipotle needs more staff like her!
I went back to Chipotle last week. The Food was hot, delicious and plentiful. I am definitely going to make a another visit in the future.I had the chicken bowl the on the first visit. The second time I had the Carniasatas burrito the second time. Awesome food. Awesome staff.
Would like extra lettuce on my steak bowl when I request it. Food is well prepared. The dinning area needs a little more attention. There was trash on the floor and some of the tables needed cleaning.
Meal good, but seriously problem with some of the opening staff. Arrived 1040 am. Only half the menu available. 2 young lady's in there goofing off. Menu should be available at opening. I overheard 1 lady saying "people eat chipotle for breakfast? Lol" as others laughed. Some people are up at 4/5 am so 11am is lunch time.
Unfortunately an unpleasant experience at this location. I always try to go inside at less busy times, so I can get a more pleasant experience. The lady who made the food was nice, but the lady taking payments was visibly unhappy and was rude. After paying for my drink, I saw that the juices were all empty, so I asked they had some, in which she replied..."we only have the soda machine". I then asked if they were filling the juice up at any point and she just said "no"... It wasn't busy in there, so I'm confused as to why everything wouldn't be stocked.
This is the absolute worst Chipotle I have ever been to. I have been a long term customer since Chipotle came to NC. It doesn’t matter what time of day or day of the week you come here the staff is extremely rude. I purposely go 10 mins out of my way to the location in Kannapolis. The franchise owner/corporate/whoever operates this place needs must never be in the building because if they saw how this place ran it would be shut down. It’s sad that even after all the negative reviews over the past year nothing has changed. This place needs to be shut down and a better restaurant should be built.
poor service. i came in and asked for a bowl but i asked the lady if she could put the tortilla inside of the bowl, its just my personal preference. she proceeded to roll the tortilla up instead of putting it inside the bowl, when i brought it up she could not hear me because she was listening to music. all employees here seem very uninterested all around and it makes the atmosphere unwelcoming. as well as most times i come in, they’re out of the augas frescas and any of the tractor drinks.
My expectations were high since my sons soccer team loves getting chipotle. I will say I’m disappointed beyond belief. Walking in the restaurant I can see dirty tables. At the time I was ordering I could see they were out of the meats but still offering them. I got some chips and I will say they had to be the worst, greasy and stale! The lady at the register had the worst attitude! Will not be coming back.
I haven’t been to a Chipotle in a long time, and after today, never again. If I could give this place a zero, I would. The staff is very unprofessional and very unfriendly. There’s no greeting, no smile, not even a “hey.” When I was getting close to done with my order, I asked her for a side of chips and guacamole before finishing the purchase. The other employee asked the lady, “What’s going on?” and she stated, “Oh, you know, these people are always ordering at the last minute.” I wish I had looked up the reviews before I went to this place, but now I understand why they have such a low rating, and it’s the same concerns. Hopefully Chipotle does something about it.
Very rude staff. The restaurant is also very dirty. There was a pile of trash outside the front door. We were there at 11am on a Sunday and all tables were dirty. The floor wasn’t clean and neither were the walls. There was a bottle of cleaning solution and a dirty rag laying beside the bucket where customers are supposed to get their CLEAN eating utensils. The music was very loud for a family atmosphere- it was more like a night club. The staff doesn’t welcome you or speak in a friendly way whatsoever. We will not be back. Chipotle ought to be ashamed the restaurant is ran this way.
Wish I could give 0 stars. Every time I come to this chipotle the employees don’t acknowledge you. They’re on their phone most of the time. You can walk in and be the first in line and still have to wait. The lack of acknowledgement when a customer walks in is ridiculous. They need a new set of employees altogether. I will not be back.
Such poor service. I asked one of the employees for vinaigrette and the lady shook her head no (so disappointed that i asked for her to do her job) and sat there for 30 seconds then went to get it. Same thing when they were out of Tabasco at the counter, my boyfriend asked for it & she was so mad. He then had to ask for napkins because they were completely out of them, this lady proceeds to say “these people just want everything” (he was speaking to a different employee, not even her when she said this) such poor attitudes. I haven’t been to this chipotle since last year when i found a charm in my food and couldn’t finish it. I’m not even asking for super chipper employees, i get it’s a fast food chain and people aren’t excited to be there, but this woman moved at a snails pace and just wanted to complain about anything and everything. Everyone- if you go to this chipotle, make sure you bring your own napkins and Tabasco, and god forbid DO NOT ask for the vinaigrette.
I have visited this location twice and both times were left unpleasurable both times the counter space and behind the kitchen area where a mess food was sitting out everywhere and the meat looked like it had been old because it was dried out. I know that was not up to chipotle standards. The second time I came in was today same scenario very messy very unorganized. The staff is less than pleasant as well. They’re not friendly. They don’t welcome you in. They’re very dry when you speak to them. They do not let you know what things are being charged to you extra until you are at the counter, ready to check out, which is unfair to the customer. The Harrisburg location is much better. Go there if you can avoid this one.
We walked in to an empty restaurant with about 8 employees and still had to wait for someone to come take our order. They were out of every meat except for barbacoa and we were told it could be up to an hour for steak. Meanwhile half their employees were standing around with headphones in not doing anything. Drink towers were empty, no forks out, no paper towels in the bathroom at 6 pm. We went just to try the new chimichurri and they didn’t even have that.
This place needs a good cleaning, staff standing around chatting while everyone single table needed a simple wipe from the previous customers. Its ridiculous. Food was alright, nothing special. They didnt make the grilled onions on time and didnt have a tray to fill the current empty one. They had salad going bad, turning brown. Their guacamole was already browned on the top, and i had to tell the girl to go deeper to the fresh guacamole. The steak had legit fat stuck to it, not tasty. This place needs a new chef and crew. Restaurant needs a cleaning inspection asap.
Found a piece of plastic in my bowl and almost swallowed it! Ordered under Dodson on October 15th. This place is repulsive and I should speak to an attorney. The store manager and the district manager should be terminated for this locations continuous subpar service for over priced food, if you call it food by the time the staff throws it together. It’s a rip off and they’re feeding us plastic. What is going on in this world?
While casually eating at this location today, I was greeted by Mickey 🐭. Thankfully, I was done with my food. But, I will not be back. He has plenty to eat as there was food all over the floor and judging by the droppings I noticed and the mouse's comfort level (and how not phased it was with people), I'm sure it's not alone and it's called this store home for a long time. I was also not sitting near the trash can. Nor was I sitting by the door. They were also out of a lot of ingredients and there were only two people working with a line almost to the door at one point.
This location is nasty! I walked in and there were 2 people working. Flies were flying over the food on the front line. They were “out of rice” and only offering what they actually had for online orders only. This isn’t the first time they’ve done this. Make it make sense! I will NEVER eat from this location again! YUCK! The GM needs to be fired!
I recently visited this Chipotle and had one of the worst customer service and food availability experiences I’ve ever had. When I walked in, the restaurant was completely out of black beans, fajita veggies, and chicken. The only meat options were scraps: just juice left in the barbacoa pan, barely half a scoop of steak. My daughter requested chicken, only to be told there was none. She then asked for barbacoa, but what she was given was literally just the leftover liquid , barely any meat. When I pointed out that it was not a full serving, the employee insisted that it was. I asked if she could use some of the prepared meats sitting aside for online orders, but she refused, stating that “corporate policy” didn’t allow it. Instead of offering solutions, she became visibly irritated, and after finishing my daughter’s bowl, she turned to me with a rude, “So what do you want?” At that point, I told her honestly that I wasn’t sure what to get, since there were almost no ingredients left to even build a proper bowl. When I asked for a manager, the employee called her over. The manager came around the corner without a greeting or any attempt at professionalism. Instead, her first words were, “Who made my employee cry?” This was shocking, since the employee had been rude to me the entire time and had not shed a tear in front of me. I never cursed, yelled, or disrespected her. I simply asked reasonable questions about the lack of food options and whether there were any solutions available. This entire situation reflects extremely poor management and untrained staff. Running out of multiple core menu items, refusing to use available food to fulfill orders, and responding to customer concerns with attitude rather than solutions shows a complete failure in leadership and training. If a staff member cannot handle basic customer questions without “crying” off the line, that is a management and training issue — not a customer problem. Do not attend this Chipotle. The food options are consistently unreliable, the staff are unprofessional, and the management is dismissive and unhelpful. Save yourself the frustration and take your business elsewhere.
Just brought this from this place. Customer service was Mid. When I tried to explain to the young lady that wrap was not wrapped correctly she was just like “Oh I know” and proceeded what she was doing! When I got it home I had to put it in a bowl and eat it with a fork because of how poorly done it was. I am EXTREMELY disappointed. Which I knew I would be before I left the store but choose to not make a scene and just leave my review instead! Will not be revisiting this location again!
⭐☆☆☆☆ Very Disappointed I had a really disappointing experience at Chipotle. The food was served cold, and the meat was dry and flavorless. On top of that, the place looked dirty — tables weren’t wiped, and the trash bins were overflowing. Worst of all, the staff seemed like they didn’t care at all about the customers. No greeting, no smile, and no effort to fix anything. Definitely won’t be coming back to this location.
I don't know why I have expectations beyond a 1 star- no matter which chipotle I visit. Came in to this place at 7:45pm and the place was GROSS. Food on every vacant table and all over the floor. This place wasn't even busy. The steak is old and dry and when I tried to stop him from putting it on my bowl he said no, it's just cuz it's in the metal container. They smashed down my already overcooked rice into the bowl and flattened it. The server scooping the guacamole with the glasses was extremely rude. I had one question about the guacamole and I pointed to the menu and she pounded her hand down with every syllable of her nasty response. The women's bathroom was out of order and after being made to feel like an idiot- I left without getting cutlery. Had to bring the food home and eat this dry nasty meat gum because of how anxious and upset that interaction made me. I would report her but they don't even have nametags.. as someone with a disability, it will probably be another year before I visit a chipotle again. Thanks for not disappointing my already non existent expectations.
Haven’t been to a chipotle in years, I heard they have been declining & now I know why! The quality was just bad all around. For the meat they add the same amount of as if it were a taco, literally only half a scoop, but a scoop full of tomato, the biggest slab of sour cream. If anything it was more like a veggie- sour cream burrito with each bite. The queso was so bland & the consistency was thick as if it was old. The chips were so stale it was hard to bite into. Just overall dissatisfied & disappointed with this meal. You’re better off making it at home, or going to a real Mexican restaurant for a burrito
This is probably the worst Chipotle I’ve been to. This is my second time here. The first time my rice was hard, servers were rude. I promised myself not to go back, but today I did. My chips were so full of grease that the oil was leaking to the outside of the bag. When I went to eat them, they were soft, mushy, and also full of grease. There were clumps of chips stuck together. The entire bag was a waste. Rice was also hard. The food here is far too expensive for the quality. Will not be trying a 3rd time.
