This is my favorite Starbucks location. They are always on top of how you want your cappuccino or a coffee made it always taste the same every single time. Any other location that I’ve been to never taste the same as when I go here. Not to mention the customer service out this location is the best. The black guy that’s always working in The front window is always super nice and super friendly and a lot of the other people there too are also very friendly and nice and they make your drink the way you ask. I wish other locations was more like this one..

I went through the drive through and ordered the pistachio latte, something new for me. The line wasn't too bad but it took longer than usual and they apologized. The girl in the window saw my dog and offered a pup cup which was really sweet as well. The latte was delicious so I have no complaints there. I probably wouldn't order it again as I'm typically a caramel macchiato kinda gal but I'm not mad at it.

This Starbucks is the best. I live in China Grove, I will drive all the way to the one on 7741 Gateway Lane. They always make my drink the way I want and all the staff is super super nice and sweet.. Penny and George is the best, they make me feel like family. They also already know what I want when I pull up (My kids make fun of me of this) It might take me 29 mins to get here but it is worth every min and every mile. Even if the line is long, they still get every one out so quick and with a smile. I just love this location.

Its unfortunate that I ended up having to score this location so low. I have visited frequently the last two weeks for 2 hours after work and purchased a couple of drinks each time while staying at an extended stay with an unsecure bad wifi connection a few minutes away so that I could use my secure 5G WiFi to handle secure business. Today was uncomfortably cold and my nose started running and it was too cold to type. I asked the baristas if they could turn down the air and they said they couldn't control it. It was not a problem any other time, but I couldn't even concentrate. I packed up snd left with my tasks incomplete.

Pitiful service here. Starbucks is just gone down hill. Expensive coffee with poor attitude employees just not a good combination. Doors were locked during regular hours I assume for staffing issues. The ordering screen is in odd place I thought it was for another store in the strip mall. Last 5 stores I've been to have had unfriendly staff. If not rude. Not sure how much longer this company will be in business with their poor service.

The barista had to remake my coffee two times although I pre-ordered it on the app just for us to find out that my coffee was made she just didn’t see it. Please don’t hire people who can’t read and follow directions. The coffee cost too much for it to be made multiple times incorrectly.

Worst experience at a Starbucks to date. First off they are out of milk, secondly they are slammed and there’s one girl making the drinks and running the register and the others are restocking or just standing around aimlessly. We asked for a cappuccino with vanilla and they didn’t add a vanilla, and one of our venti drinks came as a grande. Waited here for over 30 minutes to get nothing good.

I had a really upsetting experience at this Starbucks. I kindly asked for a cup of hot water to mix my baby’s formula while on our way from the hotel to the airport. My baby was crying, and I had the bottle and formula ready — I just needed the water. The staff told me I had to purchase something first. I explained I wasn’t interested in ordering anything but was willing to pay, so I asked them to charge me for the cheapest item. Instead, I was charged nearly $5 for a drink I didn’t even want. In that moment, all I needed was a little understanding and human kindness. The woman gave me such an attitude like I inconvenienced her. It was a small ask, and when you’re traveling with an infant, things like this matter. I’ve never felt more irritated or disappointed at a Starbucks. I will never return to this location again.

Service. 9:15pm manager on 5/28/25 doesn't know if she can take the top off of the bacon and Gouda. Cook it. Put it in the oatmeal container. And throw both buns away. This is the first time a Starbucks has said no u can't have that. I'm not doing that. I don't know if I can do that. Will someone please tell her for 5 years I have asked and gotten this for my gluten sensitivity. No problem. Today I'm evidently an idiot. Then paying in app on my phone was evidently a problem too that I didn't say pay in app when she could see my screen. All other cashiers just scan it and I'm paid. I don't get the issues?? Customer service is evidently a problem here. Order on menu. You'll b fine. Tell her what to do when paying. You'll be fine. I'm sooo irritated.

I came in to pick up an uber eats order for a customer and I had my daughter with me which is 7. She asked for an ice water. The girl told her Absol-…. And stopped in midst of the absolutely and said I’m sorry, you can purchase a bottled water. Our new policy states that if you’re not making a purchase then you can’t get free ice water. Thinking back, I wasn’t even offered simply to purchase the ice water but a bottled water!!! I had already came to Starbucks earlier that morning about 6 am as I do every morning and for the past 20 plus years! Everyone knows my face and name and my drink that I order every day! So, to be told no for an ice water for my daughter while also picking up an order for them to deliver was like wooaaahhh! I also deliver Instacart orders for their milk, creamers etc TO Starbucks and they always have me stock the fridge. Ya know what, this is not protocol. I am not supposed to stock a fridge, but I do. Sometimes you just go the extra mile for people that you feel are home base. That will no longer be a thing! If any child were to ask me for an iced water, I wouldn’t care whether I’m working, walking, or at home, I’d give them one! So, for me to do business and spend my good estimated give or take $6,000 a year X 20 years with a company who doesn’t quite share those values, I’m good. She was sick and her allergies were acting up, she needed some water smh. I called back and addressed this with the manager and was advised of this new policy. I also advised about my child not feeling well and wanting the water and she advised if I would’ve just told her that then she would e gave us one. That was even more of an insult because why should a person have to explain something to get a cup of tap water.

I recently visited this Starbucks location, and my experience was deeply disappointing and concerning. When I arrived to pick up my drink, I waited for about 10 minutes without any assistance. Eventually, an employee came out of the back room and asked how she could help, letting me know my drink would be made shortly. I could tell the lone drink maker was overwhelmed, and I understand how stressful that must have been for her. However, what truly alarmed me was the unsanitary environment and handling of my drink. The ticket for my drink was passed to an employee who had been sweeping the floor without gloves. He had a visible cut on his hand and mentioned he was bleeding, yet he continued to make my drink without taking proper sanitary precautions. Additionally, the utensils being used appeared unclean, and the general state of the workspace, including the floors, was very unsanitary. As a pregnant customer, I am particularly cautious about hygiene, and this experience left me deeply concerned for the cleanliness and safety standards at this location. I did not feel comfortable drinking the beverage I received, and while I was in a rush and could not address the issue at the time, I plan to return to have my drink remade. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a Starbucks. I strongly urge the management to prioritize cleanliness and proper food handling practices to ensure the safety and satisfaction of their customers. This is not the standard I expect from Starbucks, and I hope these issues will be addressed immediately.

Just went to this location and ordered an iced vanilla latte. when i ordered the same thing yesterday there was caramel in it so today when i saw the caramel i pointed it out. the girl at the drive through said that it’s not caramel and that whoever made it said they didn’t put caramel, even though it was dripping down the sides. so i tried it and of course it was caramel, yet they refused to make my drink even though it was wrong 2 days in a row. extremely rude as well

That Paradise Passion Refresher summer drink is NASTY!!! I've given it three tries @ three different locations across the country & all three in different sizes were GROSS & tasted nothing like a Pina Colada in a cup. I think it's the artificial flavor of the Passion Fruit that's throwing it way off. But never again....

I don't know why I stop here.. they always take 10 years if you go inside. Seriously if you don't want to give the walkin orders any priority why even bother. Not kidding 20 min+ waits everytime I walk into this location. Drive through is fine.. obviously because that's all they care about. #caribou can you put a store out here in concord mills? Starbucks can't handle this crowd!!

This Starbucks used to very dependable in terms of their quality and service. I've been coming here ever since I moved to the area years ago. But something must have changed in the past few months - I've received some pretty awful coffees lately. Wait times, which have always been a bit bad here, have gotten worse. I've also noticed a change in the staff - they don't seem as friendly as they used to be. But again, my main complaint is with the quality of their hand-crafted beverages. Just this morning I paid $5+ for a steaming hot cup of spiced milk after ordering a Chestnut Praline latte (see picture in review). Disgusting - couldn't even stomach more than two sips. I'd recommend going to the location on Hwy 29 if you're in the Concord area.
