One of the dirtiest taco cabanas I have been too. Food is always ehh, the wait time is ALWAYS long as well. Can't ever win with this location.

Very old and run down inside. Not particularly clean. Double and triple check your order, especially if it is take-out. They completely forgot an entire meal and didn't bother to check it against the ticket before handing it out. After waiting another 10 minutes to for them to correct it, they forgot the cheese sauce for that order. This is not the first time they shorted us food on takeout orders.

In fairness they were trying there best. They were sort staffed. The atmosphere in was okay... scary really. They need to deep clean it. When you look inside you'll see.

It was the worst. Dirty store, dirty bathrooms, managers are the worst. One lady manager was combative and rude. Staff seems so quick to make the order that they forget to do it correctly. Im highly upset , I just spent 52 dollars on my order and was excited to try the new brisket melt and enchilada soup only for it not to show up. I’m new to the area and have tried this food establishment a couple times and have had a different experience every time. I’ve ordered the same thing and it’s come differently every single time. This is supposed to be the fajita steak plate however, it’s just steak and tortillas… I also noticed a massive price difference because they’ve been automatically adding a drink charge to my meals. **Update: the meat is extremely dry along with the rice and beans being cold. They were obviously sitting in this difficult box for a while. Extremely disappointed and grossed out! I will definitely be contacting the supervisor or corporate tomorrow.

I have not had Taco Cabana in over a year and was truly looking forward to their cheese enchiladas. Would have been great if there was actually cheese in it. In addition, the tex-mex sauce was too spicy and my daughter couldn't eat hers, and I threw up mine. My husband ordered steak street tacos that were cold and bland, and tortilla soup loaded with weird tasting tomatoes. What is going on with these fast food places? Would not recommend going back to this one in Conroe. Oh, and they offer curbside pickup, but they don't bring it out to your car. You have to go in to get it so 🤷🏼‍♀️. Very disappointed.

You have been warned! So I went through the drive-through at the taco cabana location located at 202 South Loop 336 W. located in Conroe Texas. I ordered a chicken fajita cabana bowl along with chips and salsa. The cabana bowl is a huge disappointment in appearance and the worst part is the disgusting chicken meat. They are happy to give you. The chicken was old and look like they found it under their stove, swept it up, and dumped it into my cabana bowl. Absolutely disgusting!! You can’t even chew that! Even more upsetting is to know that an employee put this together and felt fine with the condition of the chicken. I think more training is in order at that point. Unfortunately, this is the second time this has happened to my food from this particular location. I will not eat there ever again. Before I forget… My food was served to me in a ‘ Dave’s hot chicken’ Styrofoam container! If you love taco cabana like I do… Take a few minutes and go to the other location located at 307 College Park Dr. Their food is always fresh and I have never been disappointed.

Not the same as thirty years ago, upon entering I observed big menu above but no staff anywhere, As I was standing there I saw no one behind the counter or in the kitchen for a great while. One male employee finally arrived & took my order. I walked past the counter and saw a bucket with caution apparatus around it due to an apparent roof leak. Walked on past and saw the dirty looking salsa station and nasty looking soda fountain machines. My food seemed like it took forever to get. The dining room was grimy & an apparent homeless person was loitering in there. There was one guest in there besides me. Everything was terrible. The tables were grimy. The food was undesirable. The Tortillas tasted and felt like wheat pita bread. The rice tasted like instant rice. The beans had an odd taste and I couldn’t eat them. The sopaipillas looked and tasted like they just microwaved them. This was a terrible experience and I could’ve gone to the grocery store and bought a frozen mexican dinner that would’ve been cheaper and better. Taco Cabana used to be wonderful. I won’t be back. I definitely won’t recommend.

Lack luster service and low quality food that was overcooked, served cold, and priced higher then it should be. The lack of common condiments and poorly operating soda fountain was just a bonus to an unimpressive experience. I would recommend going to one of the actual Mexican restaurants nearby for an enjoyable dining adventure.
