M&M Donut

Small, local business that has been there for YEARS!! Awesome owners run the place.when my son was a child, they would take him to the back and showed him how the doughnuts were made. Not to mentioned, the doughnuts are soft and really good. But the kolaches are really good, they are full with meat, not just lots of bread, but they actually have substance. They also have jalapeno flavored kolaches.

M&M is a local treasure. My two year old son and I come here every Saturday morning. We are greeted with a friendly smile and the BEST a donuts in converse. Their kolaches are sublime. When you go, try the glazed with a cinnamon roll center stripe.

10/10 Wonderful service and yummy delectables! I bought a dozen of assorted donuts and a dozen jalepeno/sausage kolaches for everyone at my work from M&M donut. Everybody loved them! The owner saw my car pull up, opened the door & welcomed me in and even helped me back to my car with my order. Very sweet couple and I will continue to support their business. 💙💙

First, the owners were super patient with me, as it was my first time there. Mind you at 6 am in morning. I had heard about M&M Donut through Facebook and when I say this establishment did not disappoint.... Their food menu and portion sizes were as advertised. Don't miss out on the Large size kolaches and blueberry donuts. I'll definitely be going back asap.

I wanted a treat and had driven by M&M Donuts a lot. The case was full of yummy looking pastries. I asked for a recommendation and they suggested one of the sausage kolaches, which was still warm from baking. And also a donut that had a middle layer of cinnamon. Oh my it was good. I’ll be back!!

Their donuts are delicious! I'm very picky about plain glazed donuts, I can pass them up no problem but these are fantastic. Everyone at work loves them and I get frequent requests to pick them up. Sure, their selection is not quite as big as other places but the donuts are hot when I get there in the mornings and I can't say enough good things about the people who work there. I highly recommend this place. Between the kolaches and the donuts I have no self control. They are solely responsible for a few pounds of weight gain! Amazing, truly delicious.

This place is awesome.! I am usually a H-E-B/ Dunkin Donuts kind of gal, but they were far one my way to work, so I looked up donuts shop and found this. I read the reviews and thought I would give it a try. This was the best decision ever!!!!! The kolaches, Apple fritters, glaze and we'll I actually tried almost every donut and none of them dissapointed. They even warm them up for you if you ask. The owners/workers were sweet and very helpful. I will be going back again, I am officially hooked. They are like nothing I have ever tasted. Please do not change anything. More people should know about this shop. It is fantastic!!!!!

I am always greated with a smile and good small conversation. There doughuts NEVER fail me. I eat doughnuts from that I wouldn't event normally eat because of how they are baked and just almost melt in your mouth. The perfect amount of glaze and topping on all donuts. My FAVORITE is the cinnamon glazed. I can't find this particular simple doughut anywhere.

Oh man... this place is so yummy. The owners are amazing people who are incredible bakers. THE BEST around. Ask for the glazed donut with chocolate icing - made to order. 🤤 The kolaches are wonderfully tasty AND they have a drive through. 😍

I have been going to this donut shop since I was a little kid and it is honestly my favorite donut shop. Even for someone like me who is not a huge donut fan, I enjoy their donuts and their kolaches are to die for. Would highly recommend this locally owned little shop. Owner is very friendly and service is always great.

Far and away the best donut and kolaches in the area. The owners are some of the nicest people in Converse. The donuts are bar none the best donuts I've had in a long time. The kolaches have a few options with jalapenos or plain. The jalapeno kolaches are PHENOMENAL. I almost hate to give such a glowing recommendation because more people will get there to take my donuts. However, M&M Donut deserves all the reviews and business they can get!

Love the Kolache's. Excellent donut shop. I love that they don't fill their what-ever-stuffed donuts until you want to purchase it. Freshly filled with what ever filling you want. It's nice knowing that I no longer have to worry about how long that cream filled éclair has been sitting there or upset that they don't have any strawberry filled ones. Made to order. But the Kolache's! The breading used are beyond soft and tasty. I have never had any this great. Great Prices, Great Service, Great Donuts and Great Kolache's!

Great fresh donuts. My son loved the fruity pebbles donut, and the donut with cinnamon inside of it was absolutely fantastic. The service was great, and I loved chatting with the owners. I noticed a lot of regulars come here, and the owners already know what they want. Love that they pay attention to detail and remember the locals. I'm from out of state, and they helped me pick the best of the best and try what they are known for! Next time I am in Texas.. I will stop by again. 😀

I really liked that I was able to ask if their donuts had dairy and they KNEW without having to check labels that there was no dairy in their product. They were also very nice and friendly. Quick tip: there is a $5 minimum purchase if you are paying by card so if you're just going in for a couple donuts, take cash. ;)

Giving a 3 for great-tasting donut toppings. The regular glazed donuts have an oily taste that overpowers the bread-like flavor of the donut. Did not like the regular glazed, but the chocolate and maple glazed helped the donuts taste a little better.

There is a drive-thru although it's not advertised. A coworker told me and referred me to this place. She said the donuts & kolaches were good. I ordered a maple and cinnamon sugar. They were okay. They were sold out of kolaches by 7am so I got a ham croissant. I also ordered coffee and was given my one cream and sugar in my hand. I do wish they had larger bags so I only had one to carry and less Styrofoam. while the folks running the place were elderly and therefore slow, they were friendly. I won't go there again when I'm in a hurry but I will give this small business a second chance, hopefully on a better day for them.

Very friendly, Apple Fritter was good, but the dozen donuts I got we're very stale! I got them at 7 a.m. Pretty sure they're yesterday's batch. I would only go back for the apple fritter.

The only donut shop I know that is out of most donuts by 8:00 AM. Been there several different times and all they have is glaze donuts, so I have to leave empty handed. I just tried them again today after not going for a few months and the same thing happened, "No we are out of those and not making anymore for today, this is all we have left." Time was barely 8AM so I just walked out the door with my $$$$$.

She over charged me ($33 dollars for 3 donuts, and 2 dozen holes, and four kolaches) was rude to me, and didn’t even give me my full order. It’s an extremely small selection and the donuts are very hard/battery. Save your money and don’t come here.

Donuts taste like grease. They made a fresh croissant sandwich fresh for me. It was not good at all! Better off going to grocery store and eating the donuts from bakery.

I discovered this small small shop on FM 78, near Judson HS. Ordinarily, I used to buy donuts on a Sunday morning at my local H.E.B but I had slept late and all the good variety's were gone. I turned and headed Walmart on FM 78 to give their bakery a try. While waiting at the traffic light @ 78 & South Seguin, I spotted M & M in a near by strip mall. I stopped in . My favorite pastrie- Apple fritters looked very good, so I bought half a dozen. At home with a cup of coffee, they were excellent-best apple fritters I've ever tasted. As I am a diabetic, I need to keep an eye on carbohydrates, so a weekly visit isn't in the cards. The owners did a very nice thing one morning when I arrived a little late and all the apple fritters were gone. I told the young man behind the display case that I had an errand to run that would take me about 20 minutes. He told me He could have half a dozen fritters ready when I returned. Some other bakeries would have just said, sorry, we're out. The clerk and the owners went out of their way to earn my business that day and I won't forget it. t-2017 Update: The last 3 times I've tried their once fantastic apple fritters they've been only mediocre. One was a good 'fritter' it just had NO APPLES. From conversations with the people behind the counter, I understand ownership has recently changed. Sadly, I can no longer recommend them

I went in to buy half dozen of donuts for $7.50 and left paying $12.50 and I confronted the teller but was talking to me like I didn’t know what she did. I didn’t want to argue so I just said that’s fine you just lost a customer for good. And she still looked at me like she didn’t do anything wrong. Smh 🤦🏽‍♂️ ✌🏽

What the point of a doughnut shop if there no variety or even simple plain doughnut. The 2 times I went no plain doughnuts at the least.
