Stoby's Restaurant Conway Reviews
Pancake was light and fluffy, bacon was cooked perfectly. The cheese sauce appetizer was delicious and addicting. Definitely took some home.
I ordered their cup of vegetable soup and the mini stoby and oh my goodness this soup is absolutely perfect!!! It is so good and it is making me feel so much better.
Best breakfast in Conway! Always packed on the weekends but a great week day breakfast for fast friendly service! Eggs always taste good and real eggs! I don’t know what they do to them. Love the crisp but still chewy bacon and crunchy hash browns! Coffee is regular but hot! Their house strawberry jam is awesome!
Wow. WTH did you do to those fries?!? And the bacon? Really. What kind is it? I mean a big juicy burger with fresh crispy toppings is great but yall went overboard!! This is 3 meals!! And bless the ginger who was enjoying the sunshine while serving.
Was referred to Soby's by some friends from work when I asked about a good local breakfast place. I was not disappointed! I had the eggs Benedict, has browns, and cinnamon roll - all made from scratch! Server was super sweet and very attentive checking in on me at appropriate times throughout my meal.
As we were driving from Tulsa to Jonesboro, my boyfriend and I made a dinner stop in Conway. I had been recommended to try Stoby’s for a while, and decided that now was the time- and I’m glad I made that decision. Our waitress(and I wish I remembered her name, but she was short and had colorful hair) was fantastic- straight to the point but fun, and will make sure you enjoy your food. We ordered their spicy cheese dip which really wasn’t that spicy. My boyfriend ordered The Stoby while I ordered the PB & J – Jalapeño and Bacon Burger. I know that sounds like a crazy combination, but honestly, it was probably the best burger I have had in years. I don’t typically order burgers, and instead go for chicken sandwiches, but this burger sounded so crazy I had to get it. Our waitress recommended getting the Raspberry Jalapeno jelly with my burger, and I am glad I listened. The burger was incredibly juicy, and it being paired with the sweet flavors of the jelly and Jalapenos and the savoriness of the bacon and peanut butter was genius. You have to try it!!
My wife & I have been dining here since this establishment opened in 1980. Always good! Great cheese dips & desserts. I’ve tried numerous items from the menu through the years but my fave is still the original Stoby sandwich. Today I chose the Clawson Burger which pays homage to a longtime Conway eatery.
We stopped by around 5:30 I can’t remember our servers name but she was awesome! We sat on the patio. It was calm and the food was 100000/10! 🤩 I’m a Rueben lover and this was definitely met my expectations and then some! My fiance had the double double burger and we also got a slice of coconut cream pie for dessert. We live about 2 hours away but we would make this drive just for this food.
Took my son to eat there for the first time this morning right as they opened. The service was impeccable for 6am! Our server Mattie was polite, attentive, and cheerful while staying very professional. The food was outstanding and the atmosphere was super comfortable! Came back later for some of their famous cheese dip to go!
What memories from my college days and my husband and oldest son got to experience the great Stoby's!!! They stopped by and loved the ambience, the famous cheese dip and the "Stoby" sandwich! And yes they got dessert!! They gave it 5 stars all the way!!!!! People were so friendly and service was fast!
This place is awesome!!! Totally worth the wait for a table. My fam recommends cinnamon roll, croissant breakfast sandwich, hash browns, oatmeal, biscuits (Opt for the house made strawberry jam instead of the gravy that tastes a little too much like flour), and strawberry pancakes!!! We left trying to figure out if we can find time during this trip to visit again! LOVED it.
It took a little bit before our waitress was able to get to us but when she did, she apologized profusely and even gave us chips and cheese dip on the house. Within 15 minutes our food was headed to the table! When they say award winning cheese dip they are not kidding! Trust me and try some. The punch was recommended by our lovely waitress and it was so good. My daughter loved her chef salad and couldn't finish the whole thing. My husband could only eat half of his shrimp po'boy and fries. The portions are as generous as they are delicious. Finally, I think I just ate one of the best burgers ever. It was FRESH well seasoned beef, perfect size patty, and the cook was done but still juicy. (I'm fairly certain angels sang when I took the first bite.) When we pass through Conway again, we plan to make this a regular stop!
The food was so good and filling. The prices were great. Staff was very friendly. All around great experience. Highly recommend. Love it! My husband and I both got the Pita Philly Cheesesteak.

Great thing about Stoby's is the consistency. You can count on it to be there with good food, environment and good service. Familiar faces.

Okay, the 4 stars is for the food, SO GOOD. I did take 1 star off simply because of the waitress, she was…not rude but I felt a little rushed from her. It was my first time going and I always like to ask the waitress questions when I visit a new place but she didn’t even let me get a word out. ANYWAYS on to the food. I got the French dip, chips and possum pie. It was all so good and decently priced. The place was packed and now I know why. I’ll be back, hopefully with a better experience.
Been hearin folks talk about Stoby’s Restaurant for a while, so I finally went in for a bite. Plate come out hot and piled up good, breakfast and lunch both taste like real home cookin, not out of a box. Staff is friendly, check on you without hoverin, and the place feels clean and easy goin, good spot to sit a spell. For the money I paid I walked out full and satisfied, I ain’t got no problem eatin here again
Stobies has great food at reasonable prices. Their menu is unique with a variety of options. I recommend for a change of pace for any meal. Not a chain, clean local favorite. Service was good. Wait time normal for fresh prepared items.
I love the southern charm of the place and the comfort food it provides. It’s a classic that I like to go to every once in a while. However, the food is genuinely nothing to call home about. I can make most everything at home. The only thing that’s unique is the cheese dip. I’d go just for the cheese dip and call it a day! I miss when they had you get a free cookie from Patticakes bakery. Not their fault though!
Very local place a little bit off the main interstate but worth the drive. Good diner food with nice service. We were driving through on our way home from Littlerock and really wanted breakfast so kinda bummed we had just missed it. But we’re glad we stayed and had lunch. I had the roast beef sandwich and wife had the house salad. Mine had lots of beef with fresh bun and wife’s salad filled her up. Hopefully next time we can stay and spend some time downtown. Looks like an interesting area.

Tia waited on us today. There was seven of us and we sat outside with our dog. I would like to suggest adding more fans outside. It was 90 degrees and humid. A few more low level fans would be nice…
I don't typically leave food reviews, but seeing the overwhelming positive reviews for Stoby's I thought I should leave mine as well. My most recent experience was very underwhelming. The waitress was very abrupt and direct with no courtesy. Half of their side options were unavailable and I was given a substitute that I did not want upon recieving my food. Fries did not seem fresh, and chicken overcooked making the crust very hard to eat. When asked how my experience was, I was honest, but the waitress was all to quick to blame the younger staff training in the back. Overall, it was not a great experience. I have gone on other occasions, I have tried to find the Stoby's charm, but to no avail. Maybe its nostalgia for some, but I fail to see what makes this place better than others. I sincerely hope my experience is one-off, I do enjoy local staples like this, but this is not one I plan on going back to.

I’ve been a loyal customer of this restaurant, always raving about their delicious breakfasts. However, my first dinner experience with their French dip and my wife’s patty melt dinner was a complete disappointment. The meat in both dishes tasted like burnt plastic and was utterly flavorless. I approached the waitress to inquire about a new cook, but she assured me that there wasn’t one. Despite my concerns, she dismissed my complaints, stating that most people enjoy their dinners. Instead of taking any action to rectify the situation, she offered no compensation or apology.
Order online with DoorDash for my lunch. Ordered A Stoby’s mini with turkey and ham, The sandwich had no meat. It was white bread, lettuce, tomato, onion, and sauce.. When I called stobys and asked for a manager, The manager said there was nothing they could do that. I had to contact DoorDash since I paid DoorDash.! I contacted DoorDash and Doordash refunded me $2.38 It was not DoorDash’s fault. They’re not allowed to open the food and unwrap the sandwich and look at it when they pick it up. Stoby is the one that made the sandwich incorrectly! So I wasted money and no lunch today !
