This place used to make my food with love maybe the first 3 times I came. The last 4 times I've ordered the food they choose whatever they want. I don't know if they are rushing or simply don't care anymore. I always order every pizza I get "Well Done & Extra Sauce" they I've put it back in the oven to get the well done crisp. But never any extra sauce. I can clearly taste the difference and don't like the pizza unless it has extra sauce. I don't have time to call them and have them remake, just did it right the first time. It doesn't take much time to add extra sauce to the pizza especially being that you have to put the sauce on there anyways. I just started going to Pizza Hut instead smh

Pizza is great but when you call in orders , or call for info you can’t understand what the person is saying .

On 1-24-22 I placed an order from this location, and you are correct this year, at 8:09pm to be specific. I never received my order or even a phone call stating that it could not be delivered. When I checked my account though, they had already processed the payment. This is unacceptable as a business to operate like this and would suggest you might check elsewhere before placing a order here. I had to call Domino’s and received my order and fresh and made the way I want for less and in 20 minutes. This location should be shut down after I read there reviews. Just my opinion.

I ordered delivery at 8:04 pm. Called the store at 8:40 pm and was told Door Dash will deliver my food. I waited 2 hours and still no Papa Johns delivery. At 10:45 pm, I gave up on my delivery and went to Whataburger instead. My money was put back into my account at midnight. I called the store 40 minutes before they closed and called 4 more times with no answer. I will never order from Papa Johns on Denton Tap road in Coppell, TX again. I’ll stick with Dominoes or Pizza Hut from now on.

This is probably the worst customer service I’ve ever seen at a fast food restaurant and I sing a lot because I go to Taco Bell and McDonald’s every other day the manager was so unprofessional. I know she kept saying that she was short staffed but don’t take orders if you can’t make pizzas And then she was rude to her own employees talking shit to them in front of the customers I will probably never get Papa John’s again at this location in Coppell.

Made an order several months ago and been waiting for a news story to follow up what I was told that night. I waited two hours for my food, NEVER received it, so I called. They didn’t answer so I kept calling because I was charged over $20 for food I needed. After about an hour of calling, someone finally answered and told me I would not get my food because THERE WAS A DEATH IN THE STORE. A DEATH. WHAT?! I ended up ordering Pizza Hut and got my delivery within 20 min. Just don’t even bother ordering here, save yourself the energy and time. I can safely say there has been no news story or article to back this up and I wish I was joking. Never placed another order here.

I have ordered from here many times for a few years. However, the last time I had it delivered the crust of the pizza was burnt black and all the breadsticks were burned. Tried them again tonight...pick up this time....my order was supposed to be ready...I paid, and was told they’re just cutting it. Waited over 10 minutes and someone finally told me the order was somehow “messed up” and it just now went in the oven. Ridiculous! I love papa johns, but it’s not worth the hassle. Will take my business elsewhere.

Horrible service. Ordered a pizza received a cut off call during the delivery. When I called back the driver told me they were lost and my pizza would be delivered a little late. Call back the driver 30 minutes later and no one answered. I then called back the store and they said the driver stated I was unresponsive and that they returned the pizza to the store. But I was offered an opportunity to go pick up the pizza at the same price. Thanks but no thanks. This location soured me on all Papa John's. Extremely not recommended.

Ordered a Pizza from here and it was delivered barely warm. We had to microwave it to have it hot, and you know how that can ruin the crust. Nobody in my family enjoyed the "pizza" as it was slop. We should have heated it in the oven, but that's the last thing anyone ever thinks when they ORDER a *fresh and hot* pizza. Avoid this PapaJohn's unless you want to do a quarter of their job for them and heat up your pizza or if you like your pizza already cold and hardened.

I ordered a pizza and wings at 9:17 pm and I have yet to receive my order. I called and they informed me that my pizza and wings were ready. So why wasn’t my ordered delivered. Me, my spouse, and kids weren’t able to eat tonight because everything was basically closed at 11:04 pm. Poor service and bad customer service. I was afraid to go off cause I knew they would probably do something to the food. Someone of higher management need to be contacted in reference to this location. Was not happy!!! And probably won’t be ordering from this location anymore.

Livid. I’ve made excuses for them in the past, but I don’t see the point in ordering from here anymore. Recently I placed an order online for delivery. It quoted me 45 minutes to an hour, but I expected longer because it was raining. After an hour and a half I called the store & they told me it would be an additional THREE hours before our order could arrive. Whatever. We cancelled & ordered Dominoes & got our order in 20 minutes. Today was my breaking point. Placed an online order & was quoted 20-30 minutes. After an hour I decided to call. I literally listened to the hold recordering for 11 minutes even WITHOUT anyone answering the phone. The only reason I hung up was because the delivery driver arrived. With my cold pizza. I won’t waste my time or money with this store anymore & will definitely be calling the manager for a refund tomorrow. The delivery drivers have always been pleasant, but I’m sure they’re part of the problem too.

The old woman is extremely rude, and she needs to learn how to service politely. She is the worst person at that location, so I do not want to go there again.

Waited for an hour, called, delivery driver couldn't get through gate. Called after an hour and a half, had them remake it, they told me 20 minutes only to pick up the pizza I ordered 2 hours before. Usually they are great. I'm seriously disappointed not to mention the delivery fee and the tip I gave only to have to go pick it up will probably not be reimbursed.

Probably the worst service I've ever received for a delivery order. We placed our delivery order at 11:15 PM and immediately received a call from this location. The man on the other line stated that it would most likely be 1.5-2 hours before our pizza would be delivered. Weird, but understandable. We said we would wait. The man let out an exasperated sigh and then hung up on us. Lo-and-behold, our pizza arrived about 40 minutes later. However, our pizza was completely DRENCHED in BBQ sauce. Additionally, we did not order BBQ sauce. It was disgusting. This is the second time I've had a bad experience with this place. The employees really just don't care. I would highly recommend ordering from literally any other pizza place in your area. Save yourself time, money, and frustration. Luckily, corporate refunded us on this order. We will not be using this location again.

Where to start, how about having to cancel my orders 5 sperate times on 5 different occasions because there was a delivery wait time of over 2 hours. I love how the online ordering doesn't tell you until AFTER you've placed your order. Or i could talk about when i ordered a few weeks ago and I was given a 30 minute wait time. Fast forward to 90 minutes later and homeboy shows up with a cold pizza. Worst papa johns location ever.

Worst customer service! After ordering $80 worth of pizzas we had to wait over an hour for delivery. We were not notified DoorDash would be delivering our food. The delivery person was not wearing a mask, didn’t leave a receipt and our PIZZA WAS COLD!!! The store staff didn’t offer much help, hung up on us and didn’t remake our food or refund. KRISTA THE MANAGER SHE SAID SHE COULD NOT REFUND OUR MONEY and hung up. BAD EXPERIENCE FOR MY FIRST TIME AND LAST TIME AT PAPA JOHNS! I will not recommend anyone here!

This is what my pizza looked after being delivered! This is ridiculous & makes no sense! This is the first time I’ve ordered from them & honestly think I’ll stick with dominos!

I stopped by to get a pizza on my home. The gentleman that took my order with a long beard & no mask. I’m assuming he is the manager since he was the only one working the register. The fact the his long beard wasn’t in a beard net & he wasn’t wearing a mask. This shows total disregard for the safety of his coworkers (that were wearing masks) and his customers. I’m thankful I didn’t find a hair in my pizza. Yes I should have expressed my concerns, but they would have fallen on deaf ears. Domino’s Will be receiving my business from now on.

Literally fire everyone here. They were yelling and arguing in the back while 3 customers including me waited for their pizza. Very rude, unprofessional, lazy, people. Everyone there threw a fit about having to do their jobs. Would drive 30 minutes away before coming to this location again.

Y’all added pineapple to a pizza that wasn’t supposed to have pineapple. Pineapple was under cheese so not visible but am not going to inspect every slice as there’s an expectation that I’m getting what I ordered. A family member is allergic to pineapple and was eating that pizza. Moral of the story, stick to the toppings selected…

They’re supply delivery truck blocked a drive through line exit for 10 minutes, could Not reverse out of, and was late to work.

I had to get a remake because my order was incorrect. These pictures are of the remakes that came out even WORSE. The staff is so nasty towards customers. He TOSSED my pizzas on the counter with one hand towards me. I asked him if the pizza was dropped and why it was missing a piece. It looked absolutely terrible. He said "it's not missing a piece. If you push it together, it's all there. There's nothing wrong with it! I'm not remaking it again! " I txt my husband to come inside and help me deal with the situation, because I didn't know what to do. I took a picture and the two male employees start telling each other "Oh! She's taking pictures!" "Why you taking pictures?!" I said so I can leave a review. They were mad and offended by that. My husband said we should just go home. I even pushed the pizza back together to find out it was kinda missing a small slice. I've had problems with this store in particular about undercooked pizza dough, when I always order it well baked. The normal baked always come out very doughy and raw. This was the worst employee encounter I've ever had with papa John's. They do not value their customers and that's why this locations reviews are so bad.

Followed up with the store 90 minutes later to find no replacement order was ever put in. To top it off, the quality of the rest of the order was generally poor. Update: After following up that night when the replacement never arrived I was offered a refund. 3 days later after not seeing a refund I followed up to find that no refund was ever issued.

Our order was delivered to someone else. The new order was poorly made - cheese lopsided, vegetables and meats were misplaced. Very disappointing

Twice now, this Papa John's has barely added toppings, or left some off completely. This pizza was supposed to have Spinach, Mushrooms, tomatoes, and Onions. They completely left off all spinach. It barely had any mushrooms or tomatoes, and of the small amount that was on it, they were very unevenly spread out. Low quality pizza - if you want any kind of good pizza, I'd go somewhere else.

They made me wait 10minutes for nothing. I told the cashier I was picking up and she didn’t check properly. Then finally another employee gave me my pizza that have been sitting now for 10 minutes!!!

During my recent visit to papa John's, I experienced exceptionally poor service from the manager Whitney on duty. Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, the manager was dismissive and unhelpful, showing little regard for customer satisfaction. Their lack of communication skills, combined with an unwillingness to resolve a simple issue, left me feeling frustrated and undervalued. Such behavior from a leadership role sets a negative tone for the entire team and diminishes the quality of service expected from an establishment of this caliber.

Two medium pizzas and cheese bread for $40 and then an additional $12 for delivery via DoorDash, as the online system wouldn’t allow me to choose regular delivery. 30 minutes late, no marinara for the cheese bread, the pizza were barely cut, and the garlic sauce was more like butter with zero garlic. Not sure what’s happening with the company and this specific location, but for that cost and lack of quality, it’s not worth it.

I asked for the GM and he said he was the manager… he told me his name was Freddie.. asked about a 2 for $20 offer he said he knew nothing about it.. i told him that was a standard offer when i worked at papa johns many years ago walked out. This place has gone down the tubes. They are more concerned with what’s going on in the parking lot than serving customers or selling pizza…

Do not order from here for parties in advanced, they refuse to make the order! I put in Two separate orders for my child's birthday party. I placed the first order about 2 weeks in advanced, paid online and was sent a confirmation, then a week later learned they cancelled it through an email and gave no explanation. I put in the exact same order with a different card and they sent me another confirmation after I paid (again), then the day of the party I saw that they sent me an email canceling the order again, for no given reason and they sent it AN HOUR BEFORE PICK UP TIME. Almost ruined the whole party having no food!!
