Not my mamas Church's. Went through the drive through at 11:30. They were not busy. Should have had chicken fried and ready to go for lunch. I wanted spicy. They didn't have any. Said the had regular. I ordered a two piece, fries and an extra biscuit. I pulled up paid, they shut the window and I waited 15 minutes. I would have left but they already had my cash. At 11:30 they should have had everything ready to go. They said they were waiting on biscuits which could have turned things around, a fat boy will wait for hot biscuits. But they lied and broke my big back. The biscuits were cold and dry as their hearts. The new chicken recipe is trash too.

The customer service & flavor is GONE !! Made me wait for 3 spicy tenders that were soggy & definitely NOT spicy ( just adding sum pepper aint finna make it spicy 😭😂 ill stick with Popeyes !!!

Ordered through the drive-thru, which barely works by itself, but the employee taking the order was practically whispering. Pulled up to the window and corrected the order after it was taken wrong. Still could not hear what the employee was saying at all. All in all we waited almost 30 minutes for a cold order that was missing almost everything with incorrect drinks to boot. Just a poor overall experience. I don’t know how long the “under new management/ownership” signs have been there, but they need to look at leaving them up and getting new people running this restaurant.

Cockroaches Are my biggest fear

I feel like its false advertising when they display they got 10 piece dark meat but dont have non spicy and have spicy especially when its no where near closing time ridiculous so hard to get regular chicken at this location

Really bad experience. Took over 30 minutes to get food. When i tried to pay in the drive through the system messed up so the team member had to go to another register to ring up my order. They were out of mashed potatoes. All my foods came out in different temps because they cooked the tenders first so they sat there for 30 minutes when i came in to ask about my food they just dropped my side. And on top of that they still got my sides wrong.

I recently visited church’s in copperas cove and had a very disappointing experience. I ordered chicken with mashed potatoes and was told I would need to wait, 15 minutes went by and finally got my food, I waited a while which led me to believe I would be receiving freshly made food. However, when I got my meal, both the chicken and the mashed potatoes were cold. The chicken’s breading was unusually thick and overcooked — it wasn’t crispy in a good way, but rather hard and unpleasant. The mashed potatoes were not warm at all, which was very disappointing. I’m unsure if this location regularly serves food like this becuase a week ago I had the same problem, but this time I had to speak up. It certainly didn’t meet the standards I expected. I would appreciate it if this concern could be looked into

Food was not even eatable! One wing had a little meat that wasnt hard as a brick the rest was rock solid! Awful especially since the store was dead empty. WON’T RETURN!

I grew up in this town and I came home calling myself buying my family some chicken everything was terrible. The meat had no flavor it was nothing like when I was a kid getting this food. You got my family sick beware of the place they need major improvement this is sad. I wanna call city hall and have yall removed pissed me off. My dad use to have me ride a ten speed to get this chicken. I would even feed this food to a stray dog.

First time at this location but put in an order in the drive thru for a grande meal coming out to a little over 37 dollars. We had two cars in front of us and seemed to get their food in a decent amount of time. When we ordered they did inform us it would be a little wait for chicken which we said was okay and understood cause the amount that comes with the grande family meal. We asked for half spicy and half regular. We paid and pulled around from to wait. We ended up waiting 30 minutes before I went in to ask how much longer on our order, I could see they had most of it bagged and informed me that they were waiting on mashed potato’s. The way they talked to me was very unprofessional like they were annoyed, including the manager. We ended up getting our food 10 minutes later, and the lady who brought it was very kind and seemed apologetic for the wait, and insured us everything in our order was fresh. as we pulled away I could smell the grease on it(no I’m not a Karen I understand it’s chicken) but at other locations I’ve only had good crispy chicken with little to no excess grease on the outside we got it open and all the chicken was burnt. Like pieces of the skin were black…smelt burnt, tasted burnt, and the skin was soggy dripping in grease. I couldn’t eat it. Everything. Else was fresh though. All my husband said was “we waited 40 minutes for them to burn out chicken, won’t be going back to that location” then I got to thinking, we’ve had to wait for food at Church’s before, ordering the same meal for our family , it took maybe 10 minutes. When I went into the store to ask for hot sauce employees seemed out of it, dazed and incredibly inconsiderate. They know what they are doing. New management should change the “Now Hibing” too. A B isn’t an R. Just sayin. Restaurant seemed dirty and not unkept well. We will go to Killeen from now on.

This place is super nasty. The drive through audio is broken so you have to tell them your order at the window which is fine.. whats so aggravating is instead making the customer go to a waiting spot until their food is ready so they can take the next order they allow that same customer to sit 30 minutes until their order is ready. They really could use some help 🙄 It’s been a year since I’ve been to this churches chicken so I decided to give them another chance. I ordered a 10 piece chicken they gave me chicken that looked and smelled like it’s been cooked in 3 day old grease. I took the chicken back to them and showed it to them. They were so kind to give me another box of chicken with extra pieces but guess what?! More old grease chicken lol I’m so over them. I will never come back again.

They knew they made a mistake with the food but gave it to us anyway. The fries and okra was saturated in oil. Food took way too long to make. Restaurant looks unclean with fly traps hanging near fryers. This was a huge mistake and money lost. A valuable lesson learned. Avoid this place!
