We had a great experience from start to finish. Our server, Gabe, provided excellent service — friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. He offered great suggestions for the in-house beers, which was much appreciated. From the hostess to the servers, the entire staff was welcoming and attentive. The starters set the tone right away. The Brew Muenster Cheese Soup was delicious, and the bread bowl presentation made it even better. The Chicken Tortilla Soup was also excellent and a perfect way to start the meal. Every main dish we ordered was spot on. The Big Bear Pizza, Brew Cheeseburger, and The Club Handheld were all flavorful, well-prepared, and satisfying. It’s always a win when every item at the table delivers. The atmosphere was another highlight — great vibe, comfortable setting, and a place you can genuinely enjoy spending time. We’ll definitely be back and look forward to trying more of the menu. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I had an unforgettable dinner at Big Bear Brewing Company, and the highlight — besides the incredible food — was our outstanding server, Cameron. His warmth, timing, and genuine hospitality elevated the entire night. We started with the Brie Pillow, and let me tell you… this appetizer is a masterpiece. A golden, flaky pastry filled with warm, velvety Brie that melts the moment you cut into it. It’s served with roasted garlic, crisp apple slices, juicy grapes, shaved nuts, and warm table bread (just ask!). Every bite is a perfect balance of creamy, sweet, nutty, and savory. Truly unforgettable. We also enjoyed the chili of the day, a hearty, slow-simmered bowl with rich flavor and just the right touch of spice. For drinks, I ordered their Bloody Mary, bold and savory with a clean finish. My man went for the Espresso Old Fashioned, and as a serious old fashioned connoisseur, he was shocked at how good it was. Smooth bourbon, a subtle espresso note, and perfect balance — he couldn’t stop talking about it. Our entrées were just as impressive. I had the Brew Pub Burger, juicy and well-seasoned, topped with all the classic fixings. My side was a fully loaded baked potato — fluffy inside and piled high with butter, sour cream, cheese, bacon, and chives. Pure comfort. My boyfriend ordered the Bistro Burger, stacked with caramelized onions, melted cheese, and a rich, savory sauce. His fries were hot, crispy, and perfectly salted. Throughout the meal, Cameron checked in with impeccable timing — attentive, thoughtful, and never intrusive. Twice he recommended their house-made root beer, which he personally loves, and WOW… he wasn’t lying. Rich, creamy, nostalgic, and easily one of the best I’ve ever had. 🍺✨ And just when we thought the night couldn’t get any sweeter, Cameron came back as we were getting ready to leave. He asked me what my favorite color was — I told him purple — and he smiled, told me I was a star, gently took my hand, and placed a purple star sticker on it. The CUTEST, most wholesome touch. It absolutely made my night and sealed the experience with pure joy. 💜⭐ We’ve been here once before, but my boyfriend didn’t even remember the visit. After tonight? Oh, he’ll remember this one — and that’s because of Cameron. His energy, kindness, and natural talent for hospitality made the entire experience memorable. And fun fact: Cameron also happens to be my man’s middle name, so it felt like fate. Big Bear management, if you’re reading this: you are VERY lucky to have him. Cameron is the definition of exceptional service — professional, personable, and a total standout… with a cutie‑pie face to match. 😉 He’s the kind of employee who elevates your entire establishment. Period. We’ll absolutely be back — and we’ll be asking for Cameron every time. ❤️🐻✨

WONDERFUL! I got the Chicken Puff Pie, one of the best pit pies I’ve ever had. My husband got the beer batter tenders, loved them. The Cajun fries are delicious and the pretzel bread appetizer was amazing. Reasonably priced, and you’ll probably have leftovers. Shoutout to our waitress, Natalie, who was so sweet and helpful!

Beer is awesome. Everything on the menu is good. My new favorite is the Shrimp and Grits. Omg. So good. My favorites are the pot pie, sliders and any burger. But I really love the craft beer... :) Update: pumpkin beer is really good. Please try but don’t drive after two. Food is freakin awesome as usual. Had burgers tonight and so good. 😍 Update: went to their brunch today. So good. I had the chicken fried chicken and eggs. Very delicious. Update: Black Jack burger is so good. Partner says ribs are so good and very tender. Our server was good and personable. Very nice visit this time. Had the crème brûlée for dessert. End my favs. Had the skirt steak tonight. Really good. Our server Michael was very good also. Went for brunch and the waffle was amazing. Always a good meal here.

I've driven by this place a dozen times. This time we tried it out. Food was excellent. I had their Chicken Puff Pie and my partner had the beet goat cheese salad with a side of chicken. Others with us had the fish and chips, prime rib, and sausage pepperoni pizza. Prices were very reasonable for all dishes, and the service was pleasant and efficient. We will be back. The house beer was tasty.

Great restaurant, very friendly service and the best Cajun Fries ever. We started with the Breakfast Pizza/excellent then the Bear Burger/very good, the Brew Pub Burger/very good and the Turkey Club/very good all with Cajun Fries.

Very nicely decorated restaurant for the holidays. It has a nice cozy vibe. This brewery makes their own beers and has their beer containers spread all around the restaurant. Their food is too notch I ordered the burrata as an appetizer and it was a well served portion with very fresh ingredients and companion ordered the skirt steak and it was very tender and tasty. We also ordered seasonal holiday drinks and the drinks hit the spot just right. They were strong and beautifully made. Service was friendly and we didn't have to wait long at all to be seated as the restaurant is pretty spacious. There is inside and outside sitting. The atmosphere is more of like a date night and girls night. I really liked it it was way more then I expected of just a brewery. Their menu had a wide selection of appetizers and entrees. As well as options of burguers and pizza. As my first time here I had a great experience I would definitely consider going back.

Place was packed on a Saturday night, but the wait was only about 5 minutes as they were getting people in and out very fast. Drinks and service were all great. Would highly recommend the pretzels, but do not recommend the bread bowl, it had an oddly sweet taste and texture was like wonder bread. Pretzel chicken with mash was great! Burger was also very good.

Great spot, a must visit for Broward county! Our server Micaela was excellent, and the food is bomb. Good variety of in-house brews as well as others, and fairly wide selection of wines and cocktails. Started with the brie pillow and it was delicious, you cut up the little loaf of french bread yourself and the brie wheel in pastry is very good. The black and blue pizza was perfect, and the cajun pasta is another fantastic choice. Will surely be back!

We walked in on Valentine's Day during dinner time. The wait was normal but not so bad for a special day like today. The service by our waitress Amber was EXCELLENT, especially with the dinner rush. The food was SUPERB! If they run like a well oiled machine on a busy day like today I can only imagine how amazing they are on regular days. Great place! Highly recommend. Update: Brunch is also a great time for good food and service when looking for a Brunch spot

Amazing first experience here. All of the food was delicious (skirt steak, volcano shrimp and chicken pot pie) and came out fairly fast. The service was exceptional and our waitress was great.

His place was amazing. I enjoyed not only the food but the customer service. I ended up hearing about this place from a friend and decided I would go try it out. This place is easy to notice from traffic and has lots of parking. Reservations are not needed but could come in handy around their busy times. I definitely recommend trying their burgers when you go.

Big Bear Brewing Company in Coral Springs is my local go to place and I highly recommend for several reasons, they have a winning combination of great beer, excellent food, and a vibrant sports atmosphere. Located in the heart of Coral Springs maybe a mile north of the Coral Square Mall this place has the perfect sports bar vibe—large TVs everywhere in a warm and friendly atmosphere. One of the highlights of Big Bear Brewing Company is definitely their in-house brewery. The beer selection is awesome, featuring a variety of craft brews made on-site. The food is excellent, and you can’t wrong with any of their Craft Burgers from the “The Bear” Burger to Bistro Sliders. I always order the “Burrata” for an appetizer which is like a Caprese Salad only more delicious. I am also a huge fan of the Volcano Shrimp because of the tasty peanut dressing. Sunday is Brunch Day from 11am to 3pm where I get the Mango Mimosa and my partner gets the Bloody Mary. Eggs Benedict and the Brewer’s Breakfast are our favorite choices. What sets this place apart is the people that work there with many of them being long time employees. Even in a packed house, the staff is so kind and accommodating. The bartenders remember your name and the place just has great energy. There is also a nice outdoor patio, which is great for enjoying the weather while sipping on one of their craft beers or cocktails. The only downside is that it can get a bit loud, however it’s a fantastic place to hang out. Big Bear Brewing Company is a must-visit for anyone who loves great beer, delicious food, and a lively atmosphere.

We have come to make this location a staple to visit when on vacation. This is our third visit here and we are always, more than satisfied with the service, food, and drinks. It has the best Blueberry Beer we have ever tasted. The beer comes with actual blueberries in the glass. The taste is very strong and delightful. It is in the top two blueberry beers we have ever drank. If only they sold it outside of location to purchase. We would have it stocked in our fridge in Missouri. The food is excellent. I get the burger with candied jalapeños and my girlfriend gets the rattlesnake salad. It is no ordinary salad and will take a lot to eat all of it in one setting! The vibe inside is awesome. Love the décor and overall feel of the place. Plan on spending more than $50 bucks if you truly want to enjoy the meals and beer. It is soooo...worth it!

Excellent meal and excellent service. They've done a great job of distancing the tables and following safety protocols, and since my last visit they've added digital menus in addition to the paper beverage menu and daily specials. We appreciated the well-timed courses, too!

This place is over the top nice. Great atmosphere, food is awesome..and the house brewed beer is great. Had the Octoberfest, Hibernating IPA, and tried the Belgian Dubbel. All fantastic! We sat at the bar, my bartender Megan was super knowledgeable and steered me in the right direction. ...or wrong depending on how you look at it 🍻. Had the French dip and Cajun fries, I've tried several other choices in the past as well, never disappointed. Don't pass this place up!

I consistently have an amazing experience here. My fiancé and I love the ambience as well as the food is always cooked perfectly. Our favorite is the skirt steak and we love the spinach dip!

Been a long time since I had eaten here. I love this place, the food, and the service is top notch. Lindsey is hands down the best server I've ever had. Prime rib was the best I've had in a long time. The brie pillow was fantastic. The key lime pie is in my top 3 country wide for sure.

We love this place, my fiance drinks the beers🍺, and I eat the food, lol. Tonight, I had the French dip with the cajun fries🍟❤️, which was unfortunately overcooked but still good... soaking it in the au jus and horseradish provided. Also, in the past I've gotten the chicken pot pie and the blue cheeseburger🍔, which were both awesome. It certainly isn't cheap, but when the food is on point, it's great. Fiance loved the Hibernating IPA🍻 tonight. Bartenders Megan and Gina are on point and very social!

This is one of my favorite restaurants. I have been coming here forever and it never disappoints! The french dip is my goto. Amazing. Best mac and cheese and amazing atmosphere. definitely recommend to anyone who loves cozy dinners. Salad was out of this world, roasted chicken salad.

It's called a brewery, and that's true, but the upscale restaurant is the primary business at Big Bear Brewing. The food and atmosphere are top notch. I like it because the craft beer they make in-house is good too. The pretzel-crusted chicken is the star of the show as far as the menu goes. I also love the barbeque chicken pizza. As far as the beers go, my favorites are the Hefeweizen, which was on tap today, and the Grizzly Red Ale. We always love the food, find the dining areas (both indoor and outdoor) to be clean and well maintained, and the service excellent. That's why we come back again and again.

We have been visiting Big Bear for nearly two decades. The service and food quality has remained high through the years. The menu doesn't change much because why fix what isn't broken? We generally sit at the bar because we like the bartenders and talking to other patrons. Tonight there was s couple who had never been there (live about 15 miles away) but were in town for an event. They were exclaiming about the great taste of the house brewed beer and the burrata salad. Update: I forgot Sunday brunch! Make sure you get in for that. But come early because there is always a wait. We love Big Bear. It's our local place. I'm sure you will love it too.

Big Bear Brewing Company opened their doors in 1997. I was last here in 2018 and after revisiting I wonder what took me so long. I had a craving for chicken pot pie and based on their pictures they had a stellar one. After a day of running around and not eating I asked my girlfriend to meet me for dinner. On a Saturday night there was a wait but it was only about 20 minutes. By the time my girlfriend arrived from work we were almost ready to be seated. The restaurant is very classy with dark wood and it was decorated tastefully for the holidays. Although they brew their own award winning beer I was in a more non alcoholic mood so my friend suggested the root beer which they also make in house. It was so refreshing and hit the spot. We were contemplating the famous beer cheese soup but compromised on a shared order of pretzel sticks with cheese fondue. It was a delicious appetizer and we both loved the sweet pickles they served with it. Although everything on the menu sound appetizing and looked great as it came out of the kitchen which we were seated next to, I was set on the pot pie. It was a giant portion with a pie crust bottom and topped with puff pastry. It satisfied my craving and I had more than enough to take home for a later meal. All of the desserts are house made so we ended the night on a sweet note with a molten chocolate lava cake and ice cream. It was so rich and decadent. Our server was so attentive and friendly. He really went out of the way to make the night special for us. There are so many restaurants in this area of Coral Springs but it is easy to see why Big Bear has lasted so long with its wonderful food and atmosphere, good value, and friendly service. I can't wait to try some of the other things I saw flying out of the kitchen.

Great place located at the center of Coral Springs. Mixed menu to accommodate different diets and preferences. Must try the big bear burger with fried egg. Volcano shrimp not to be missed, and wrap it up with lava cake. Service is exceptional, and staff are extremely helpful.

The iceberg lettuce with steak tips is a must-have. My wife ordered the chicken sandwich. Restaurant ambience is a low-key, dark up-scale dive bar feel with quality food and service - there’s brunch and an outside patio which accommodates pets. Good place for many reasons.

We always enjoy the ambiance and food at Big Bear, but the last time we dined in the restaurant, we had a very unique and unbelievable experience. My 90-year-old mother tragically lost her diamond engagement ring down the toilet. It fell off her finger into the toilet, and as she reached in to get it, the toilet automatically flushed! We were both standing there in shock and devastation. This was my mother's ring that my father gave her when they got engaged over 65 years ago. My dad passed away last April 2024, so this was especially emotional and overwhelming. Just a huge loss for so many reasons. We immediately reported it to the general manager, Mark Baiz, who I can honestly say, went above and beyond to try to help us retrieve it, if at all possible. It was a Sunday, so the next day, on his day off, he reached out to the City of Coral Springs Water District and then to a plumber, who literally went into the pipes of the restaurant to see if the ring just happened to get stuck, and he kept me updated every step of the way. Unfortunately, the ring was never found. But we just had to acknowledge Mark's incredible concern and kindness in doing whatever he could for us, as well as the plumber, who didn't even charge because he felt bad for my mom. These days, there is so much ugliness in the world, so I am especially grateful for caring people doing nice things out of the goodness of their hearts. So this is the manager running Big Bear, and that was some incredible customer service!! We were already planning to continue patronizing the restaurant, but we will be sure to refer and support them even more, any chance we get going forward. Many, many thanks, Mark. :-)

It was WORTH the wait...one of the best meals we've had ever! The beer was yummy too(helps the wait time 😆) App:tuna dinner: big bear burger, chicken Madera, Rattlesteak bowl. Ridiculously delicious

This is by far our favorite restaurant when we are in South Florida. Everything on the menu is phenomenal and the service at the bar by Daniel and Maria keep us from ever sitting in the restaurant itself. This visit, we had the Ahi Tuna app, which was amazing. The flavors are incredible! Daniel made me the most delicious strawberry margarita and for dinner, my husband had the New York strip, which literally melted in your mouth, accompanied by a loaded baked potato sent from heaven! My fish and chips were some of the best I ever had. Lightly breaded and flaky fish. And that roumalade sauce.....amazing!! We are working our way through the menu because there is just way too many choices and each and every one never disappoints!! Highly recommend!! A++++

Big Bear Brewery is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and perfect whether you’re coming for a casual night out, a family gathering, or just to enjoy some of the best craft brews around. The beer selection is outstanding—fresh, creative, and consistently delicious. The food pairs perfectly, with generous portions and plenty of options to suit every taste. But what truly made our visit exceptional was the service. Our server, Maria, was superb from start to finish. She was attentive without ever being intrusive, knew the menu inside and out, and made excellent recommendations that we thoroughly enjoyed. Her friendly, genuine personality made us feel right at home, and she kept everything running smoothly even though the restaurant was busy. It’s rare to find service this good—Maria went above and beyond to make the evening memorable. She is a true asset to Big Bear Brewery and one of the main reasons we’ll be returning soon. Highly recommend both the brewery and Maria’s top-notch service

Big bear is a community staple. I love the apps and food here as well as the vibes. Inside is moody and perfect for a nice dinner and some good beer. Their outside seating is also nice with hanging lights and a pretty fountain right outside. The service is always great but we recently had Sean and he was the best, fast attentive service and amazing beer recommendations!!

No doubt you will enjoy the dinning experience. My family and I have been going to this restaurant for special occasions for 20 years. We went this week and our server Michelle delivered impressive service and the manager Mark was very nice when he came to our table as my request. I complimented Michelle and said that the food was better then ever. It’s not our special occasion restaurant anymore. Lol. We will be going again next week. If you haven’t tried the Brie appetizer yet, you have to. It’s the best Brie plate I’ve ever had at any restaurant.

Excellent from the service to the atmosphere and the food. The menu is varied from steak and burgers to pizza and with vegetarian and gluten free options for those requiring them. As their name would suggest, you can count on a wide variety of beers brewed on the premises, the stout, IPA and Hazy IPA I tried were all excellent. Highly recommended.

Mothers day dinner. Walked up and the hostess opened the door to the entrance. Greeted with a smile, seats was assigned right away, as if we were expected😊. Server was very personable and attentive to us while we decided what to indulge with our appetites. I must say for this being my first time experience here, i was very impressed. Everything was expeditiously catered. Food was deliciously amazing. Great ambiance. Deserving of every star. This grants another visit indeed. Christina or Kristina was our server. Awesome attitude.

I visited on 1/16/26 with a party of 8 and we were seated right away and had the BEST server I’ve ever had! Tiffany was most attentive and patient with our group. I miss Big Bear since moving away to Denver in 2021 after being a regular customer since 1997 when we still have the Mugs! Thank you for a wonderful experience. ☺️

10 star visit for us! My first time. Husband’s 2nd visit. Glad we sat at bar (Sunday- very busy) because we had the BEST service. Consider yourself fortunate if Rachel takes care of you. Very personable, knowledgeable and asked all the right questions to ensure our order was perfect. -honemade veggie burger was outstanding! Non meat eater / ate it all - french fries hotb& tasty. None left! -french dip with fries. Beautiful presentation/ husband loved it. Couple Hazy Bear beers. Too full for dessert even though Rachel asked if we wanted coffee or dessert. Exceptional experience

The wait time was a bit long, but totally understandable since it was the Saturday before Mother’s Day and it was definitely worth it. The atmosphere was calm and perfect for conversation and spending time with family. The beers were okay, but the food was absolutely delicious. Our waitress, Vanessa, was amazing attentive, helpful, and very detail-oriented. My meat was cooked to perfection. We’ll definitely be coming back. Thanks again!

This place never ever disappoints!!! I come from Palm Beach County just to come to dinner here. Each time I come I try a new dish and let me tell you 1000/1000. Their load baked potato is probably one of my favorite things. So crispy. Bacon bits. Cheese. The beat. Tried the baby back ribs for the first time today and their Mac and cheese and let me tell ya it’s a must get.

We went on Friday afternoon during happy hour. I guess because it is summer time there were a lot of families and big groups waiting to be seated. Since we were just 2 , we had a booth right away. This is not the first time we go there and has never disappointed. We had spinach dip as appetizer. Grilled chicken sandwich and prime rib french dip. Everything was good and tasty. The service was good and friendly.

My first time here, but it definitely won’t be my last. From the moment we walked in, we were pleasantly greeted, and then taken to our table. I couldn’t help myself, as there were so many wonderful things that caught my eye! From a wonderful ambience, to a very extensive menu selection. Not your typical bar apps, so I was delighted. Lots of drink choices, beers, ciders, martinis, wines, and mixed cocktails. The service was outstanding! Jaime took care of us today, all of our food came out promptly and correct. Here’s what we had: Black widow cider Cucumber martini Beer cheese bread bowl House salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing Chili Turkey meatloaf with potatoes & cranberry chutney We enjoyed everything, and left with full tummies. There were so many other items that I wanted to try, so I’ll be back! Sorry, I had no room to try dessert 🥲

Save yourself the pain of visiting the neighbors of this place because this is the place to be! After going to two competitors in the vicinity and being basically ignored for 15-20 minutes at each place, I saw this place across the street and decided to give it a shot. Boy am I glad I did. Megan was awesome, the service was top notch from everyone involved. I had the petite filet with Asian Coleslaw and key lime pie. The steak was one of the best I've had and the pie was out of site! Even met the owner and chatted a bit. Can't wait to return!

Amazing dining experience. Our server was Elaine and she had a trainee with her, they were very knowledgeable on the menu and took great care of us. I ordered the Cajun pasta, asked if the chef could spice it up for me and he did, you should try it that way! Crème brûlée was delicious

Big bear never fails us. We sat outside and it was perfect for the weather. We had two servers attend to us and it was perfect! We ordered the pretzel bread, brew house tenders, and Black Jack burger with a side of Mac and cheese. We loved every dish and we can’t wait to come back again!

First time here while on vacation. Food was amazing from the appetizer, to the steaks, burgers. AMAZING. And our server Tiffany was INCREDIBLE. OFF THE CHARTS. BEST SERVER WE HAVE EVER HAD ANYWHERE. Remembered everything, super fast, super friendly and just overall INCREDIBLE. Will definitely be back and request her next time we visit. A+A+A+A+

We had dinner at Big Bear on Friday night, and we were lucky enough to have Katie as our waitress, she was absolutely amazing! She greeted us with the brightest smile and the kindest energy that instantly made us feel welcome. Katie checked in at just the right moments, made sure everything was perfect, and anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. Her recommendations were spot on and truly elevated our whole dining experience. It’s rare to come across service that feels so genuine and effortless. Katie’s warmth, professionalism, and positive attitude made our Friday night dinner at Big Bear extra special. With our busy schedules and kids it’s rare I get to take my wife out but Katie made us feel like we rented out the building! We’ll definitely be back and we’ll be asking for Katie!

Really liked my experience here!! Party of 10! We had a great time. Food was DELICIOUS. I ordered the chili and a side of white rice. The chili was very good! My friends ordered volcano shrimp, burgers and various sandwiches they were all pleased! Our server Natalie was pleasant. Some may say the place is loud but I find it exciting and fun!!! I know they're working but the staff should smile more. Smiling makes the experience much more enjoyable-they all seemed so rigid.

I recently visited Big Bear Brewing Company for weekend lunch, and the experience honestly exceeded my expectations. Even though the restaurant was a bit busy, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. When I first entered, I immediately noticed the cozy cabin-style decorations, with wooden beams, and subtle fall decorations that made the space feel comforting. The staff greeted us right away with smiles, which set a positive tone for the entire meal. The menu had a wide variety of options, which I appreciated because I love having choices when dining out. I ordered the Bear Brew Burger, and it was cooked perfectly and served with crispy fries. The warm honey butter bread they serve at the beginning was soft, sweet, and easily one of the reasons I would return. Even though the experience was great, there were a couple of drawbacks: the wait was longer than expected, and the noise level was a bit high since it was packed with large groups. However, it felt understandable and didn't take anything away from the amazing experience

Katie made our entire dining experience absolutely exceptional! From the moment we sat down, she greeted us with a warm smile and such positive energy. She was attentive without being overbearing, made fantastic menu recommendations, and checked in at just the right times to make sure everything was perfect. Her knowledge of the menu really stood out, and she made us feel genuinely welcomed and valued. Even when the restaurant got busy, Katie stayed calm, professional, and incredibly friendly. It’s rare to find service that truly elevates a meal, but she did exactly that. If you’re dining here, ask for Katie, you won’t be disappointed. Five-star service all the way!

Love this place. My parents and I have been patronizing this restaurant for over two years with weekly visits. The food is always amazing, so many choices that never disappoint. The margaritas are out of this world, can’t stop at just one. From the time we walk in until the time we leave, We feel part of the family. The staff is so knowledgeable, happy and the best around (yes, I have my favorite☺️). I have brought out of town family and they are so jealous of this place. Thank you Big Bear Brewery for being the best in town!

Amazing experience at Big Bear recently. I’ve been here many times. The food and service always tends to be good but today was something different. Tiffany took care of my Fiance and I and it was truly exceptional service. I’ve been privileged enough to dine at some very high caliber establishments and the level of service we received was at an elite level. High intelligence and a clear service acumen combined with an intuitive sense of what the customer wants without having to ask. Really incredible. I’ll eat at whatever restaurant she is working. They are lucky to have her. No joke. If you’re a customer, ask for Tiffany. If your management at Big Bear, be thankful that she works there.

Absolutely delicious! The Pretzel Crusted Chicken was crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. Their Pizza had the perfect crust and generous toppings — super satisfying. And the Hot Chocolate Lava Cake? Pure dessert bliss — rich, warm, and gooey! Cozy vibes and friendly service made it a great experience. A must-visit spot!

First time! Overall, it was a nice meal with a good atmosphere. Blueberry Ale was unique and tasty. I also recommend the creme brulee, it was delicious and had great presentation. The Big Bear Pizza was SUPER cheesy. It could have had half the cheese in my opinion. The mac n cheese was also a nice side dish.

Pizza was alright. Atmosphere at lunch time is a mix of older people and business lunches. Beer is great.

The restaurant is very nice and the service is very good but the quality of food isn't what it was a year or so ago. The trout was over cooked and the brie pillow is very skimpy on the seasonal fruit. They were also out of their 2 of their most popular beers. Had a late lunch here today. I had the crispy chicken salad with buttermilk salad dressing and my wife had the mixed baby greens with vanilla vinegarette dressing. Both were very good. My wife also had the wild mushroom soup, which was very tasty. I tried their Blueberry ale, twice! Very good if you ask me. It is not overpowering with the blueberry flavor. Service was very good as usual.

We’ve been to the Big Bear for many years and have never left disappointed. Last visit had the cajun rainbow trout - very tasty. The Caesar salad to start was very good - not overly dressed and the homemade croutons superb. The grilled vegetable sandwich is huge, decent flavour. A little more grill would have made it better. The French onion soup is outstanding. Always a treat to try the many beers if you can make room!

It's my first time here as I'm from the Tampa area definitely a nice atmosphere the lighting is beautiful in the bar area and around the whole restaurant The staff is very friendly and professional I had the Chipotle burger which is very good. I think it could use a little more flavor 1/2 price on wine during happy hour The old fashioned is simply delicious You really should make it a point to visit this restaurant while visiting the Fort Lauderdale area overall, a great place!

Great solid place if you're out west/northwest fort lauderdale. Set your expectations: this is a brewery that serves food. However, the menu looked great and the food we ordered was VERY GOOD! Cocktails and mocktails were EXCELLENT. Drinks could not be better. We had the bloodymary mocktail and Cucumber martini on the rocks. The Cajun shrimp and grits was SUBLIME! Just fantastic (and large portion!). Service was good. I rarely go out west and spend 99% my time in east DT FTL. However, I'd definitely go back if I'm in the area.

This was actually our first time here, and the food was really good. But the service was not. Our server Vanessa, who, by the way, was training Andrew didn't bother to ask if it was our first time or not. Took our order and as I went to look at the drink menu to figure out what drink I wanted she stopped me by say "actually can I have that menu for a moment I will give it back" and proceeded to give it to her other table. Nor did she mention that there was a menu in the book she JUST took from use that permoted the dinners of the day. Needless to say, my husband was very upset due to the fact that he would have loved to try the grouper. But it was never brought to our attention they had special and the book was also taken from me before I could even look over it. I truly hope ANDREW does not develop her pour waiting skills. Other than that, the food was very good . We would definitely try it again, but she won't be taking our order having to be a server before she needs to undergo some training herself, not be training .We were going to get dessert because as my husband puts it i like the entire experience, but to be honest i was completely turned off by the service so we did not. The owner is missing out on his up sales for sure.

Solid American restaurant with a lot of unique beers. Their beer cheese soup is always a treat! Rest of the menu is very good too, tons of delicious takes on classics. Fresh ingredients and well-prepared plates. Taking one star off only because it can be an insanely huge pain to get a table sometimes. Super long waits no matter what time of day or day of the week. I know staffing is hard right now but this has been an issue long before that and they don’t take reservations especially for small parties which adds to the difficulty to grab a seat. Hope that works out soon because the food is great!

My daughter picked Big Bear to celebrate her 12th birthday. We had a reservation for a party of 6 and got seated right away. The service was a bit slow for a Saturday at 1:30 pm. Two people ordered root beer, which they state they make in-house. One was perfectly fine, but the other, which happened to be for my 12 year old, tasted like a stout/beer and root beer mixed together. What pissed me off was the manager came over, stated she tasted the drink, and it tasted like a flat root beer to her. Basically took no accountability that just MAYBE somehow they messed up. Also, all of the meals were right, except my daughter's. It's a little disappointing when the birthday girl's drink and meal come out wrong and there is no attempt to improve the experience.

Came here to have a chill dinner on a Friday night with my significant other. We did let have to wait much which is great since I tried making an appointment on open table and it shows everything was booked so we waited around 30 mins to get a table . Once we got seated we placed the order for the drinks and my partner for his drink on a broken glass but you couldn't tell until you tried it and it cut his lip a little, which I would have been concerned if it was a kid . All they said oh sorry and took the glass immediately and brought a new one , and I said my drink wasn't good based on the recommendation and the server just took it way( almost full ) and ask if I wanted to try something else which I did .. but once the check came the " pop rock Martini " was still there .. didn't complain so we just paid for it ... but not much consideration based on a broke glass and an extremely sweet drink . The burgers were good , so part of the food rating was the food.

I visited this place for dinner, the restaurant looked great from the outside, but the services and the food were not good. The waitress was so busy, and the food was greased and very overpriced for what it was. The soup was horrible, liquid, and not creamy.

Slow slow slow! Other tables got served & we were still waiting. We come here very often because we like the quality of food. However, today October 10 2021 the service has been completely off. The waiter is great but where is he? Where is our food. Took 30 mn for my drink & 😩 hungry 60 mn & counting no foooood

It’s our first time in this place , we came for the great reviews and decided to give it a chance , the shrimps was delicious that peanut sauce was on fire! Love it, however my 3 stars go for the beers and I felt its was overpriced! The same pasta I have it in an Italian restaurant even in a Miller ale house for way cheaper and bit more flavor ! The place it’s great loved the decorations but I that love trying new things and my husband that loves beer it felt short on delivering an amazing product! Beer, the one I was able to drink was the blueberry ale that has a flavor and drinkable the others are like if the glass was dirty but again that’s my opinion on the beers, Paula our server was very attentive and gave us the recommendations on the shrimp and that was amazing as for main entrees I felt it was overpriced for a normal flavor but again what’s not overpriced right now days?? but we will come again to try different dishes not for the beer!!! Thanks Paula for the great service!!!

Not up to usual standards last night. Special requests not followed through. Burnt onion soup. The French dip came and the au jus after. We had to ask for ketchup and we had two French fry orders. The burger was good but not great. The baked potato a bit undercooked. After years of always being very pleased, last night was disappointing.

Nice and clean place. I didn't like the fact that they switched server, because she have yo go. Meanwhile she was taking care another table. Then the server who took over was training. Umm . No guesting selling. !! I do not like that she took our cup to refilled. Taking our bacteria to the soda machine. Standards with Covic-19 , bring a new glass. Any who !! Food was good.

The food here is slightly above average. Yes it’s good but not amazing. I prefer Tap 42 however the wife likes Big Bear. The menu hasn’t changed in years but they do have really good beer and seasonal beers. I have had about half the menu and although it’s a Coral Springs local favorite, it’s not worth waiting 45 min on the weekends for and they do not take reservations which is a mistake.

My Bride and I stopped down around 7 PM on a Wednesday night. There was a 40 minute wait for a table. Asked if we could sit the bar and have a drink and was told yes. Went to the bar as two people were getting up to leave started to sit down. I was advised there was a waiting list to sit at the bar too. Really?? Not worth the hassle or the wait so we left and went down the street to BJ’s. Immediately had a table and a wonderful waitress named Brooke. Beware of multiple waiting list if you stop by Big Bear.

My wife and I visited Big Bear Brewing for the first time 1/17/26 and overall, the restaurant itself left a great impression. We were seated right away, the ambiance was really nice, and the menu looked delicious everything sounded like a solid choice. Unfortunately, our experience with our server Lisa took away from that. After asking for our drink order, we said water, and before we could finish mentioning that we also wanted to order appetizers, our server turned away to attend another table. When she returned with the waters, my wife asked a quick question about a drink flavor, and once again the interaction was cut short as she walked away without asking if we needed anything else or were ready to order. Because of this, we felt dismissed and ended up leaving. That said, we would likely return because the atmosphere and menu were great. However, if seated with the same server again, we would definitely request someone else. Hoping for a better experience next time.

We had a very disappointing experience. The host told us to wait one hour for a table. After waiting the full hour, we were informed that we would need to wait another additional hour. This was extremely unprofessional and a complete waste of our time. Clear communication and respect for customers’ time are very important. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet basic expectations. We had a very disappointing experience. The host told us to wait one hour for a table. I finish all my food and drinks wich is not bad, service is great , the restaurant its beatiful and clean i just have a problem recomending this place they have their own beer they made it ... so why its 8 dollar a beer and i try them all and i dont like any to be honest.. food are ok but again price are high 25 dollar for a cesar salad whit just that portion of meat in a chipped plate its high.. sorry big bear not bad but i rate u also for prices if i pay more i am expecting a better salad. I am not complaining just i dont think will come back 🤓

First time and the impression was not very good. My friends were craving beer, we went to this place because we could eat and drink, but they left without having the beer they wanted. They were changing something which took more than 30 minutes, when we finished eating the waiter came to ask if they wanted beer 😒 I don't know if I will return to this restaurant although the sandwich and fries dish was very good. The price a little high.

I visited Big Bear Brewing in Coral Springs. The food was good, and the beer was decent as well. However, toward the end of our visit, a cockroach appeared on my arm. I killed it, kept it under a napkin, and showed it to the manager. While he apologized and said he would check the area, there was no compensation or follow-up. I didn’t expect anything free, but we felt really dismissed, especially given the nature of the issue. It left us feeling uneasy after what could have been a nice evening.

I wasn’t going to leave a review but after spending $190 of my hard earned money on a terrible meal that was a waste. We were greeted by resting bch face by our server which was the entire experience. We chose to ignore that because we are human and she could be going through something personally. However the service continued to not be present. We ordered drinks from the bar as well as regular drinks. Not once were we asked for a refill. I literally had to wave my arms standing to get her attention it was embarrassing. The prime rib was a day old (tasted really old) and the sweet potato fries were burnt and inedible. Other meals they said were very salty and the fries were over seasoned and inedible. We are not complainers so we let it go honestly in fear that something may be done to the food. The icing on the cake was she brought our appetizer soup out (which we assumed she forgot entirely) after we finished our meal. Our table was full of empty appetizer plates the entire time. We paid and left and will not return after our experience. Mind you we have dined there for years but the quality has done more than decline. And this was for a birthday dinner… never again

We’ve always enjoyed this restaurant — it’s one of my favorites because the food is consistently delicious, the atmosphere is warm, and the staff is usually friendly. However, lately the organization around the bar area has really gone downhill. There’s a waiting list for bar seating, but it doesn’t seem to be managed properly. People who just walk in often end up standing around and taking seats as soon as someone leaves, while others who’ve been waiting 30+ minutes are still on the list with no update. Not sure if it was because we were Spanish and most of the customers waiting were Caucasian. It creates confusion and frustration, which is a shame because everything else about the restaurant is so good. I truly hope they address this issue soon — with better organization and communication, it could easily go back to being one of the best spots in town.

*Rating:* ★★☆☆☆ (2/5) *Summary:* I recently dined at Big Bear brewing Companymy in Coral Springs, FL, and ordered the $52 fillet, requesting the peppercorn sauce on the side. The meat arrived very dry and lacking flavor. It felt like the sauce is used to mask the shortcomings of the steak rather than complement it. *Pros:* - The idea of getting peppercorn sauce on the side is nice, showing they try to accommodate requests. - Ambiance was pleasant (if that’s something you noticed). *Cons:* - Steak was dry and flavor‑less. - Price point ($52) does not match the quality delivered. - Heavy reliance on sauce to “save” the dish suggests underlying issues with the meat preparation. *Conclusion:* If you’re looking for a well‑cooked, flavorful steak, you might want to try elsewhere. The peppercorn sauce is tasty, but it shouldn’t be the only thing standing between you and a decent meal.

If you think you can have a drink at the bar while waiting for your table, think again. My husband and I went tonight just to have some drinks at the bar since I enjoy their pear martini. We told the hostess as we walked in that we just wanted drinks at the bar and she said “go ahead.” It was a busy Saturday night so I found only one seat at the bar. I sat and ordered the pear martini and my husband went to use the restroom. In an amazing stroke of luck, the seat next to me opened while my husband was in the restroom. I put my purse on the chair to hold it for him for when he returned. When he came and took his seat, the bartender was delivering my drink and rudely told us there was a wait list for the bar and we couldn’t sit there. We told her the hostess told us we would go and she told us the bartenders had a separate waitlist. Yet, we saw no one waiting to sit at the bar nor did she inform of this when I first sat. Never in my years have I heard of a waitlist to sit at the bar. I told her forget the drink and left as I wasn’t going to stand around to drink my martini. Quite embarrassing. If you want to come just to enjoy a drink or to have a drink at the bar while waiting for your table, this is not the place.

Well food good but wasn’t specific in details on what’s added on the side orders and got me kinda confused anyways I’m not going to mention her name but she should or probably should know please be more specific with your words! Anyways all good vibes but kinda threw me off but still a 5 star and that’s my review for now byeee I might not come back in a while I’m from palm beach but nice restaurant 👍👌I took pic of leftovers lol I had the salmon chili I forgot the name and yes it’s in the pic byeee

Giving 1 star for price increase, so much expensive. I had volcano shrimp and pasta as shown in the pics and it was 41 bucks for both, so expensive. Quantity and food taste is average, definitely not worth the price. It was at least 10 bucks less even 1 month back so not going again and not recommended also. Not worthy of the price tag at all and seems like they just increase price whatever they want.

I wish I could give a zero. The food was absolutely horrible. Calamari was not fresh at all, and the pasta, ribs meal and pork chops were not seasoned at all. The sauce on the ribs was basically water and the cole slaw was not fresh. Worst restaurant food experience.

After waiting 20 min I was told the Prime Rib French Dip won’t be available till 4 pm. So I would need to either wait another 30 min or order something else. WOW ! Never heard of going to a restaurant and having being told sorry we don’t serve that till this time. Even though there is NO time marked by the food on the Menu. So how would you know. The waiter did not even know!!!! That is a Bad business . Don’t go here during the day if you plan to have everything available for you. You might get told sorry you will have to wait till the evening for Everything that is on the menu.! Bad business!!!! Now there are parts that do say Sunday or Lunch specials. But then again the Main part of the menu food selection are not available all the time. You play Russian Roulette with their Menu! Happy eating or Not eating in the case of not available at the time you go.! I ended up getting a pizza. Not what I want. My wife got the 1/2 sandwich and soup. Chili. The chili she said was excellent and had stew meat rather than ground beef. The club sandwich she said was excellent as well it has sprouts on it and freshly carved turkey. The 4 cheese pizza to say the true is nothing to write home about. Goin to The store and buying a frozen pizza or Blaze pizza is 100% better sad to say :(.
