Very nice, more upscale place. Great friendly service and very good food, especially the ground beef and enchilada sauce. The Jamaica drink was great, just the right sweetness!

Best authentic Mexican Food I have had. Had Barbicoa best I ever ate. From now on if I am within 30mins of this place that is where I will eat. Wife said the same about a shrimp disch she had and prices were very fair.

The staff is great! There is so many items on the menu that it took us a while to order. Food was good service was consistently attentive. Not too high priced, either!

A colleage recommended meeting here for dinner, and we were pleased immensely! Food was all delicious, with a large variety of dishes from barbacoa to albondigas (meatball soup). Service was all looking like family and a close knit group, and efficient at what they do. Didn't want for anything, and yet we were able to have lively discussions without constant interruptions as well. Great experience! Will be back anytime we are in this area.

I don’t often do reviews, but this is one I had to do while enjoying dinner here with my wife and youngest daughter. When we moved to Corcoran in 2013, the food here was Ok with great service and family atmosphere. Now, today, and consistently since 2020… maybe before 2020….the food here is amazing. Service and atmosphere is always excellent, but it is unbelievable how good the food is here now… and it is consistently good. Order anything you see on the menu… you will not regret a night out at El Kap.

This place is absolutely amazing. We were there tonight on valentines day. Our waitress was so swamped but she did absolutely amazing. People were getting upset she apologized over and over. But we blessed her with a great tip! Thanks for amazing food and great service. We will come back!

Good portion sized meals. If you're looking for authentic with a great flavor try the chile relleno. Also, the service was great!

I stopped here to get some takeout before getting an Amtrak. It's walkable from the train station. The lady there seemed friendly and was making the place clean and tidy for the lunchtime diners. Both the torta and tacos were good, and reasonably priced. The food was ready in about 10 minutes, and they included salsa. Would recommend this place for Mexican food in Corcoran, doesn't seem to be any other options.

I've been here before and order food. Thier food is good but I had to change it from 4 stars to 3 stars as thier call for take out service is bad. I usually order a breakfast burrito every Friday as a treat for a long week at work. Multiple times I've called for take out in the morning before 11am so I can go on break and pick it up, problem is, it's not reliable. It seems almost everytime I call for take out and they put me on hold I would wait up to 10min for someone to get back to me but I would hang up after patiently waiting; I don't have time to wait as I work when calling. I hope they improve thier take out order so it's more reliable. Other wise they will continue losing money and customers. If they continue down this road and other Mexican restaurant open, they won't make it. Other wise, I highly recommend getting a breakfast burrito.

This is a really good place to eat, really good food and really good service. The only problem is that just like everything in California it has gotten so expensive that you can hardly afford to go out anymore.

Food has declined in flavor, portions are about 1/3 of what used to be, prices are outrages. $16 for 1. They don’t even qualify to make the new minimum wage law. Feels like scalping. I used to recommend this diner, now I recommend go to Taco Bell.

Very bad business waited a little over one hour to get our food and due to mix up with the chef and waitresses asked for a little discount do to the mix up and long wait per owner was told no very bad business at least they could of done the drinks. But no..... will never stop there again i wouldn't give a star at all if I could.......

The waitress was to busy looking at my son ignoring his girlfriend and mom the drinks we ordered were wrong second round only my son got the drink I passed and they still got it wrong now the food old rice enchiladas made me sick my son took leftovers ate it later that night also made him sick all in all it was a waist of money

Over priced for the quality of the food. A one cheese enchilada dinner plate goes for 10 bucks! That better be the best dang enchilada in all the central valley. But from my experience I know its not because when I ordered shrimp diablo it lacked flavor and the shrimps are plumped up with water (to make them look bigger). So I can imagine a cheese enchilada something so simple to make wouldn't be so good when you can just take that 10 buck go to the store, get the ingredients and serve your whole family. Please don't waste your money, not worth it at all.

Most disgusting food ever. Super slow service, selling purses and jewelry in the restaurant. Waffles were super soggy and limp. Chicken fried steak was also frozen tasted microwaved. Kinda want to barf just thinking of it. Never got a refill on drinks and there was only one other family there. Husband is throwing up as I type this no exaggeration. $48.00 later and our breakfast is on the sidewalk!
