Flamingo Deck

We held our engagement party here in the LayLow speak easy and it was phenomenal!!! We chose flamingo deck because of the tiramisu martini (which is my favorite, so naturally we had a tower of them for the party) and the yummy food. I didn’t get a pic of the pizza but they were divine. They NAILED it. Mercedes and Sierra were communicative, involved, so cute & so kind. They personalized everything and were so helpful with set up, take down, and coordination before & during. We couldn’t recommend this enough for an event!!

The food was so delicious, we got an Avacado Toast and a French toast. The French toast was my favorite, the butter was absolutely to die for. While parking was a little hard to find, you can save money and park on the street. The ambiance and decor was nice and unique to this place as well. Overall a great brunch spot, just wish they had more warm drinks like a chai latte and stuff.

I’ve never seen a line here. There are espresso martinis. MULTIPLE areas to hang out. And it ALWAYS feels comfortable. Fast drinks. Normal PB prices. Woody is a favorite. Definitely recommend to everyone.

We were looking for pizza and found this place. The pizza was absolutely amazing and did not disappoint. Our server Hannah was delightful and told us that recently the menu has changed. Whatever they did, perfect perfection! we are here visiting in town and would certainly come here more often if we lived in this area. You will not be disappointed (whether you get a classic pizza or try something more fancy) A+++++

Have been twice for happy hour pizza and drinks. Service, atmosphere, food and drinks have been fantastic both times. Will keep coming back! Update: We have been back a dozen times now and it still has never disappointed! Our server, Steve is always fantastic and the Thursday Happy Hour pizzas still cannot be beat. The spicy sausage pizza is the best! One of our favorite places in Pacific Beach.

Food was good. Music was great. Cute place, we took some fun pictures on the “day beds”. I tried oysters for my first time, not as bad as I thought. My friends got the “drunk in love” drink and loved it. One said it was the best drink she’s ever had. The only thing I would change is the couch by the bathrooms. It looks disgusting & idk why they have it there.

I came here for the first time while in San Diego visiting a friend. The atmosphere is ADORABLE. The tiramisu martinis were amazing and our server Valerie was so nice and personable. I liked it so much I decided to book a brunch there in August when I’m back for a bachelorette party

Perfect brunch spot right on the beach in PB. Great air flow but sometimes sitting in the sun on the deck and get crazy hot. The servers are all super chill and the food was 👏🏾 pretty good

The Vanilla Creme (creme brulee French toast) was by far the star of that dish, although presentation was to be desired....swerved on a cracked wooden platter, syrup spilled all over the floor and table). The Milano Benedict was delicious all around, the star was the focaccia bread. Forever changed my Benedicts, out with the English muffins & in with the Focaccia!!! The staff service was to be desired, they were timely but not attentive. The waiter/ress walked away while we were asking questions about the menu. The impression was that staff wasnt knowledgeable of the menu. The atmosphere was definitely college bar vibes, upbeat music and lively chatter throughout the venue. Various seating options, lounges and couches. Younger crowd, Great party vibes.

Excellent food. I wasn't expecting much because bar eats can be hit or miss. But this was amazing. The calamari was the best I've had anywhere and the spaghetti and meatballs were incredible, the sauce was so flavorful.

I tried the Pink Flamingo cocktail, which was really good, and the calamari was tasty too—crispy and well-seasoned. The location is right by the road, making it easy to find. Overall, a great spot for drinks and a fun atmosphere.

The drink was average Took about 25-30 minutes to get the check, the waiters got busy with other tables.

We visited on a Saturday. It wasn't busy at all. Most people were at the bar. Great place to start the night out or hang out during the day. They have daybeds which looked fun for a nice day. Would definitely go back to check it out at a different time of day. Fast and friendly service. Ordered the calamari, carrots, and burrata. All tasted pretty good. Drinks tasted great! The drinks come in a single serving or serving to share. The larger serving is the one that comes in the flamingo. Would definitely visit again for drinks.

At lunch time they usually have a bartender, barback, busser and a server. The last time I went they only had 1 bartender and 1 barback. So needless to say, the service was very slow. They have parking in the paid parking garage below, paid parking lot or free parking on the street. I am a huge fan of their sourdough pizza crust and their chimichurri steak. The drinks and daybeds are great especially as it is warming up in SD. You can get a tan while eating out. It's a place I like to bring people to because the food, drinks, and location are great. Service is generally slow for lunch but perhaps it's faster service at dinner.

The day I went was pretty full as I imagine every weekend is and our waitress could easily disappear for about 20 min and if we asked any other staff member they said that we has to wait for our waitress. Also the waiting line to get in was pretty long so just keep in mind that if you decide to go. I enjoy the experience overall but also the music was a little bit too loud in my opinion.

We had a chance to go out and grab a cocktail, this seemed like a good spot and guess what? It’s a great spot! Both cocktails were great; an espresso martini and old fashioned. The service was quick with awesome drinks. Friday and Saturday nights are definitely a club vibe with loud music and plenty of dance floor.

Be careful when dealing with Summer (server). I asked her if there was a service charge already included in the bill. She clearly answered NO. There was a 4% service charge included. She flat-out lied. Food was excellent.

My food actually never wound up coming. It took so long I canceled it while the other three people at my table received their meals. The waitress was great but you can tell it was just too much going on. There was a party of drunk people that were so obnoxious that probably should have been asked to leave to be honest.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon. 1. Food was unseasoned and overpriced 2. I understand being understaffed but the waiter and manger were rude not very accommodating. Very Kurt 3. No hand soap in the mens bathroom. Kitchen staff went to the restroom and didn’t wash their hands with soap. Scary :/
