Cassidy's Irish Pub Corpus Christi Reviews
We stopped in here to grab a drink after arriving from out of town with my parents.nice atmosphere very friendly bartender.would recommend.
This place is so cute! It really resembles pubs in Ireland and they pour Guinness correctly too! Very cute vibe, especially when Christmas decorations are up.
The only legit Irish pub in town. Small but cozy. Real candles on the tables. 👍
Great hole in the wall bar. Great ambiance and decor. True Irish pub vibe.
Popped in a couple times and both nights Stephanie was working. Very sweet girl, even wrote us a list of all the best local places to visit. Definitely had that Irish homey feel. Live music was a nice touch too and lots of parking/easily accessible to the rest of the area.
We are here for a short time AND a good time. The place didn't disappoint. I had my first Irish car bomb here and the bar tenders are great people to be around. We didn't have the chance to see a food truck, but if you're here for the beach, you should also have a Guiness here! They're expertly poured. 💜
Love this bar! Been living here for eight years and this is one of my favorite spots downtown. Great atmosphere, great crowd and service. Also love the live music. Highly recommend!
Cassidy's pub never disappoints. It's nostalgic and vibrant, and the heart of downtown CC. Drinks are great and the staff quickly learn your name making you feel part of the Cassidy's family. There is just something extremely unique about walking into this pub, having a drink, and melting into the spirit of this place. There is nothing else like it.
This place is a staple of the downtown community. All the staff are great, but especially Stephanie. Not only is she professional and courteous, she has the uncanny ability to be a speed bartender, and can teach a masterclass in mixology. Add in food trucks and live music, she handles it all. With decades of experience, you don’t need to go farther than Cassidy’s to get what you’re looking for.
My actual favorite little bar in downtown cc. Just how it looks and sounds, a small, intimate Irish pub. Solid drinks at good prices, and I've always had a good time when they book live music. Small outdoor patio for smoking & it's walking distance from most things. Solid, free parking lots across the street and just down the block. Favorite place to end a night out.
A local go to Irish pub. Small and crowded it is always a fun time there. Live music and Guinness Stout on tap, what else can you ask for?
Not a bad place to stop by. They were out of Guinness, which is weird for an Irish bar. Bands are hit and miss, but there have been some pretty good ones there before.
I liked the variety of choices from your Glenmorangie to Austin hefe and ciders. I had a dirty glass served to me yet the friendly environment made up for it. I usually dont get liquor when going to a new place but I dont like to bash an establishment over an employee specially after my first visit. I will be back again next month, I enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and staff :) They charge you if you use a visa or Mastercard. I'm sure Visa or Mastercard would like hear about their surcharges. Keep your receipts, visa can ban merchant in the past.
We were in Cassidy’s Tuesday night, we made friends with one of the bartenders there who was there on her day off. She was awesome, her and her boyfriend gave of us a list of places to check out. Everything was going great until some man at the bar kept harassing her even followed her into the restroom at one point. When she tried to tell the bartender who was also the bar manager, that she was uncomfortable with this guy and to ask him to leave. The bar manager Kristina told her, “oh he’s like that with everyone.” Like it was no big deal. I used to be in this industry and yes you do get a lot of drunk men that hit on you. If you are there on your day off having a drink at your own workplace just to be violated and the bar manager just laughs it off? That is not okay. We love Cassidy’s, but we will definitely not be coming back with someone who runs the bar like that. The girl was clearly upset, shame on the bar manager for treating her employee like that and not having her back.
Love the atmosphere and this place is cozy. Have had issues with service on multiple occasions. The bartender doesn’t seem to want to be there or dislikes being a bartender? No idea. The last straw was her giving my credit card to a fellow patron when I moved to a more clear spot after ordering. Bar wasn’t that busy so don’t know why this happened.
