La Cucina di Lido Corso Novara Reviews
Ottimi piatti di pesce cucinati in maniera semplice e genuina. Prezzi veramente convenienti rapportati alla quantità e alla qualità. Sicuramente consigliato.
Credo sia il ristorante di pesce migliore di torino prezzi onestissimi e pesce stupendo da provare polpo grigliato roba mai vista...
Locale familiare, dove ti ambienti subito.
Last night we went to Mr. Lido. We made a reservation for six, and even on the phone, when I made the reservation, I was surprised to be told I didn't need to leave my phone number; I shouldn't have worried. It had been a while since I'd been back, and as soon as I parked, all the previous visits and the wonderful memories came flooding back. But as soon as I stepped inside, it was like returning to my parents' house, with that distinctive aroma, that welcoming smile, discreet yet radiant. I enjoyed eating again after the cinema, with friends. The Livorno-style caciucco was unmissable, the fish was excellent, the menu wasn't extensive but EVERYTHING was high-quality. Don't expect fusion cuisine or grand-sounding dish names, but instead a homey atmosphere, expertly prepared yet homely cooking, and the intimacy and relaxation you only experience at home. I thanked him personally as I left, but I want to thank him again now: thank you, Mr. Lido. Keep it up. Please, thank you for making us feel at home, every time, even after a long time. I'll be back, we'll be back, soon. I'd forgotten how good it is. Old-fashioned service, very kind and friendly waiters, never overly pretentious. 5 stars for everything. Giuseppe
Authentic and tasty dishes. Don't miss the gnocchi alla parigina and the caciucco alla livornese.
Nice
A culinary genius, this chef should work in one of those Michelin-starred restaurants where people are mesmerized by every detail, even though at his restaurant on Corso Novara he creates culinary magic that bewitches the palate. I visited him for my niece's birthday and, after so many years, I had the opportunity to see his youthful freshness, full of enthusiasm as always.
Amazing hidden gem in the heart of Torino. Little cute cozy authentic Italian restaurant. All the Italian flavors in your plate so fresh and tender, pair with a chilled bottle of Prosecco. The chef was really friendly she came out of the kitchen to greet us and explained how the food was cooked. Very cozy atmosphere, very friendly service and staff. They really deserved the tips. Afordable prices. We experienced a real authentic Italian hospitality in its fullness. Highly recommended for anyone who is a sea food/ fish lover.
Wonderful place discovered today on Corso Novara! We had a truly delicious cacciucco and an excellent seafood salad, very fresh and plentiful. The owner and waiter were very kind and attentive, making us feel at home. The atmosphere was simple but welcoming. An absolutely worthwhile place: highly recommended! 🌟
A place unlike any other, with exceptional quality, care, and meticulously crafted ingredients. Tradition combines the flavors of the past with a hospitality that no longer exists. Lido, a legend!
"It was a true pleasure to dine at this charming restaurant in Turin. The cuisine is exceptional, especially for seafood lovers. Each dish was an explosion of delicious flavors that made us feel like we were in heaven. The staff was extremely hospitable, friendly, and quick to serve us, making us feel welcomed and pampered. Their attention to detail and desire to make our experience unforgettable were evident in every gesture. I can't wait to return to explore their menu even more. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an extraordinary culinary experience in Turin."
A wonderful experience. Quality - price wise, the best restaurant in Turin. Service to the highest standards. Exquisite food. I will definitely go back!
One of the best seafood restaurants in Turin, perhaps the best value. We went as a couple and ate: grilled octopus (8/10), tagliolini with fish ragù (8/10), cacciucco (8.5/10), and fried calamari (8/10). We also had a half liter of house Arneis, water, and ice cream, and we spent just under €40 each. Very friendly and attentive service. Highly recommended.
Amazing pasta, they made a vegiterian dish for me even though the menu is mostly seafood

Pesce cucinato ottimamente e servizio cordiale.
Bravo 😇😊hot
Excellent dishes, even if the portions are a bit small. To satisfy your hunger, you have to order an appetizer, first course, and second course. If you want side dishes, you have to ask; they're not listed on the menu. My dessert, with ice cream, was nothing special, and the cherry syrup 🍒 was definitely too sweet. Overall, good.
A huge disappointment! A seafood salad with smelly, overcooked mussels, tasteless octopus, and shrimp with sand, all dressed in bitter olive oil. For our second course, a lightly seared, cold, flavorless tuna steak, to which we had to add a side dish, invented on the spot because it wasn't included. Even that (buttered carrots, plain cooked spinach, and boiled green beans and zucchini, hospital-style) wasn't worth the expense. A small plate of seafood salad cost €16, and a steak cost €22. I reported the issues with the seafood salad at the table, and again upon leaving, and received no response or consideration. We won't be returning. Highly discouraged!
